Jamie PaintsEnthralled!Haven’t we all been in a situation where we wished for a voice of reason? Loved how the main character has been growing up in the series. Could not stop listening. And the end had me on the edge of my chair wondering what the author was going to do. I would love to buy this author dinner as a thank you. That’s how much I liked it!!!

Jcas0422Great StoryMy boyfriend showed this series to me and it’s really caught my interest. Lowell has a fantastic way of building characters and suspense with this series, and this book in particular has been supremely interesting. Watching the main character grow and support other is entertaining to listen to, and there’s always surprises around the corner. Good read, can’t wait to read the next!

noconfigIt Only Keeps Getting Better!I listened to the first two books and throughly enjoyed the immersive building of the charters and their environments. The author is fantastic at creating dialog and interactions. This book has everything the first two books have plus an even more powerful story. Thank you for creating this, Natan Lowell.

KlfghjkkgcxThird in the seriesThis book is a little darker than the first two because Ishmael is in an evil place. That puts a little bit of a downer on the story, however it also creates some conflict that had been missing before this installment. I still enjoyed listening to it immensely. I am totally hooked.

Milo LewisExciting BooksSo far I have listened to the first 4 bools and I hate it when they end. The characters are written so well they become real and you genuinely feel for them and what they are going through. I can’t wait to read more of these books and other books by this author. He has a wonderful gift of story telling! Thank you for sharing that gift with us.

Fred FinizziRead in orderI kept forgetting to leave a review. I was not aware that the story had several titles or books as it were. I accidently started with the next book in the series "captains share" it was obviousley a great story or i never would have gone back to the beginning and on to listen to all of the books. I am a huge fan of "audio drama". This series is an audio book which I can almost NEVER get past the first few minutes. I forgot I was listening to an audio book and realized that it indeed was not an audio drama after 3 episodes. That is a very rare thing for me to have happened. The author read books often ruin the story because authors do not realize that writing a good story and telling a good audio story do not always go together. It is best to let the pros do what they do and the author needs to park his ego and let the story be spoken by someone who can do so that the listener can enjoy the story. There are VERY FEW times that I have enjoyed an author reading his/her own book that were enjoyable and this is one of those few times. The characters are written so well as is every other part of this series that I did not regret having to listen to the series in audio book format. This is not a guns out shoot em' up story. I felt so close to the characters that i experienced every emotion that was felt in every character. This is a story that one would not read if I had to give a very short explanation but if you start really at any point you will simply have to keep reading to see what happens to who next. I do not have the skills to put into words how much I enjoyed the complete series. All I can say is that the characters pulled me in and i was never bored. I loved this series and now that I have listened to the entire series I already miss my friends. Excellent writing excellent characters and excellent audio. Thanks Mr Lowell! I have a chronic pain that gets so bad that somedays i can do little more than sit up and take bathroom breaks. This series just let me get away from the dark that pain makes me feel. I was allowed to escape and in doing so bad days were not as bad as they can be thank you for that. If I had millions i would have paid millions for the relief this series has given me. NOW GO BACK TO THE BEGINNING AND LISTEN TO THE STORY FROM THE BEGINNING!

DahakfghcfdzFantastic!!!I couldn't stop listening... I got through it in a day. This was the best one yet! I want my own Welkie!!! Thank you Mr. Lowell. They are all very well done. You can't help but get lost in the story. I imagine I'll be reading these books again and again in the future. You really do a wonderful job.

SKMJAMAnother enjoyable Ishmael Wang adventureFour years have passed since the end of the previous book and this one and Ishmael is back in the deep dark on a new ship with a new crew...and what a crew it is. This book was very good with a lot of the spirit of the earlier books in the series. I found myself rooting for Ishmael, as usual. While I missed the old crew, it was fun to get to meet some new people. I am looking forward to seeing where Ishmael goes from here. As with the others in the series, I listened to the podcasts and Nathan Lowell continues to do a fantastic job narrating. Thanks for these podcast, Mr. Lowell!

AbbyGracePrettyFaceReally Incredible SeriesI appreciated the increasing amount of action in this book, but all the character development and interesting, odd details were there as well. It's just enjoyable. Sometimes there are patterns of situations that are obvious (beautiful women and Ish, his ability to always improve current location) but whatever would get old is outweighed but how easy it is to slide into this world and be a order by your deep desire for Ish to succeed. I love it.

Ken and MartyDouble ShareThis is the best of the Trader Tales so far. The characters are varied and well-developed. There is action, humor, angst, and an engaging plot. The biggest difficulty we found was to refrain from just listening straight through. Thank you Mr. Lowell.
