As an American married to a Brazilian, this podcast has been amazingly helpful! Learning conversational Portuguese has helped immensely with speaking and following conversation with my in-laws. It’s amazing how well this language learning resource works. I am new to language learning outside of English, but after listening to a podcast a dozen times or so, I was able to listen like a native! I also spoke along with the dialogue and felt it flowing comfortably. It was a really incredible feeling! I have been addicted to these podcasts and have really enjoyed my learning journey. I even have been having small conversations with Brazilians. I am so grateful for this resource!

I'm an American living in Brazil, and this podcast is an unbelievable resource. This happens to me all the time: I listen to an episode, and that same day I hear native speakers using some of the new vocabulary I've just learned. The content of these episodes is incredibly useful in daily Brazilian life. I live in a smallish city in Mato Grosso do Sul where not many people speak English, and this podcast has helped me SO much to communicate with neighbors, friends, my kids' teachers, etc. I'm so grateful!!

Please come back for more! I work in a laboratory and I just listen to this podcast and you have no idea how much portuguese I have learned so far thanks to you! I love your explanations, and how funny some of the dialogues are and how you bring in a native speaker in every episode to explain the Brazilian culture and their use of language. I am not only learning the language but also the culture and that’s how it’s supposed to be!!! Thank you sooooo much for helping me so much and I hope that you guys come back for more <3

I have decided to learn Portuguese as a hobby this summer and I have learned so much from listening to these podcasts! I needed something interesting to practice my listening skills with and I'm glad to have found this. I'm going through the episodes from the beginning. I read somewhere that Andreia left for new opportunities and is no longer in the newer episodes. I'll be sad when I run out of episodes to listen to without her in them but I'm sure the new cohost is great as well!

The structure of this podcasts really makes it probably the best podcasts for learning Portuguese. The short but jam packed conversations are made up of good topics that lend themselves to good insight about the culture. But more importantly the way they breakdown the dialogue makes this probably the best podcast for helping to learn Portuguese.

I learned Portuguese years ago but have found it hard to practice. These podcasts have made it very easy--and fun--to brush up in my spare time (which is the only way I'd ever practice!).

Such a fresh approach to learning language and culture! Excellent resource!
