    A lament
It is still so sad this show didn’t continue. I have listened to it twice through, and am think of starting a third. Even with the glut of podcasts there are now, there are very few audio dramas of this quality and feeling.

    Well... 1st season was great..then :( ??
This would’ve been a blockbuster IF the weird devil sifi, long drawn out off the wall episodes didn’t drown out reality. I mean so off the wall it leaves you so confused! I would have just loved to hear a little folk lore & find out the unanswered mysteries, but the more I look for the answers, the more questions I have as I approach the end of season 3. I was so excited, now im disappointed that I know longer feel apart of the characters as I did in the beginning. :(

Looking to the future, not building on old soil.
This podcast absolutely deserves a revival. As podcasts become common place and overly abundant, Pleasure Town stands as a pillar among the rabble. Producation quality is excellent and far exceeds others of its time, the voice acting is on point and the dynamic stories being told refuses to allow for repeatition or jumping the shark. I look to the future for more Pleasure Town, but remember, dirty old soil might not forget the past.

    What happened?
This was a great podcast, then it took a break. They said they had a new season set to release in the beginning of 2018 but nothing came of it. The quality is awesome but missing new episodes. :(

It’s mid 2018 and there’s not season 4. What’s going on you guys??

    Loved This Podcast but...
...does anyone know if they are bringing it back for Season 4? Or is it over? 😩

I really enjoy it but sometimes confusing
This podcast is great listening . Sometimes I find myself getting confused with plot but I still think it is very well done.

    Couldn't 'put it down'
I binged every single episode in like a months time. At first the two main characters threw me off cause Silas' voice you can clearly tell is not a natural voice. But that didn't matter cause the story was gripping. I hope there is more new episodes to come!

    Incredible!
This is a must listen, multi-layered work of art for your ears. It is deep, dynamic, and didactic!

    Great Audio Drama!
I really enjoy this show. It is a wonderful blend of supernatural and old west grit. The voice acting is great and the production value is high. Not to mention the music which adds to the drama and overall experience. I would say give it a try I don't think you will be disappointed.

Interesting Take on the Wild West
The story is compelling along with the characters that add the narrative. The voice cast sometimes felt recycled but that might have been my bad ears. The flavor and development told over the seasons is well balanced and fair which i liked because my favorite Barber got his love and sadness through story. Looking forward to a new season and a reminder of the old reasons to toast those lost to Pleasure Town

    Eerie and enthralling
There is so much talent in one place here. Outstanding story-telling, beautiful writing, lovely voice-acting, gorgeous music, stunning sound production... everything. Truly a step above others of its kind. So happy to have found it.

    No thanks
Can't stand this. Made it partway through ep 4 and just can't. The accents, the stories...just not for me.

    From another view
A fantastic story. or series of stories. or the same story from different angles. By the end of the second season you have the personal story of so many characters. I would have thought that there would be few surprises in a story I had already heard from another point of view, but each time it was engaging and surprising. The voice actimg is beautiful, the stories are great and never quite what I expect. Perhaps the best part is that there is no wiff of children stories morality. No sense that the hero will win because their heart is true. Instead... well it's complicated, just like real life. You just listen and decide for yourself. Pleasuretown is the sumation of what it's residents make it, for good and ill.

    Awesome audio drama!
I've always been a fan of audio drama, and I thought I'd gamble with Pleasure Town. I made a good bet. A great method of storytelling, fleshed-out characters, and great sound quality are just a few of the reasons that Pleasure Town is one of my go-to podcasts. Keep up the great work!

    Great radio show!
I love this podcast. I am a true crime listener but needed something a little different for a change of pace. This really fit the bill for me. I am listening in five or six episode binges so I can stretch it out. Always look forward to the next episode. Love hearing the stories of the characters drawn out. Excellent entertainment!

    Storytelling at its finest👏🏻📺📽
Honestly I randomly stumbled on the podcast, and man is it good. The actors are great. The sound effects are over the top, makes you feel like your really in the story. The storyline is so good. If u like storytelling, drama and old time podcast you definitely need to listen to this.📼 I don't have nothing bad to say.

    Worth it
This podcast is great storytelling at its best. It's so good it made me want to review it on iTunes. I love the radio dramas of the past and this one is like one while set in the past does a great job of making it feel oldtimesie.
  • OTR lover!!
    Been waiting...
Wow! That's what came to me the first time I started listening to this podcast. I've always been an active OTR (old time radio) listener, but this new stuff is AWESOME! I'm so glad I stumbled onto it. My only thumbs down is the fact that it seems to exploit women a lot. I mean I understand the point of the whole PleasureTown thing, but in some cases it's a little overboard. Overall, it's great. The music is awesome by the way.

    "An ever-growing interactive narrative..."
Such a cool concept! Thanks for all your hard work and weird creativity, Pleasuretowners!

    Love it
Honestly was a little confused and unsure at first but after the first few episodes I was completely sucked in. And it doesn't milk things for content. The story moves and develops so fluidly with so many characters you can't help but truly feel for

Oklahoma in the early 20thcentury sounds like a lot better place to live in Pleasure Town than it would be in this Century Pleasure Town in OK today would be burnt out by Evangelical Republican Warriors for going backwards into the dark past ages. Love the show, one of the best productions I have heard in the podcast dramatic world. Oh yeah! Great musical stylings from a long ago, yesterday

    Awesome Storyteller Podcast!
A classic theme with solid writers and contributors. The characters draw you in and love the narrative piece.
  • Mavericksprout
    Excellent Story Arc, just know...
I recently discovered this show. The characters are engaging and I binged the first season in one day. That being said, while the arc of the story-telling is captivating, there are individual episodes that get way too poetic in the prose. I love a good description, sometimes the descriptions get tedious and over-wrought.

Great series had to binge thru S2
I had finished the Thrilling Adventure Hour podcast and looking for a new series. Found Pleasure Town. Listened to the first two episodes and was hooked then binged the rest. Looking forward to the mini-sodes until Season 3. Great job in the performance by all and the stories well written. I am telling all my friends they should listen. Thank you keep them coming.

    Finally!!!!
I have been searching high and low for a podcast drama to take up my time from We're Alive. Pleasuretown is amazing. Very well scripted, acted and engaging. I can't wait for the next season. I binged on the whole thing. I was hooked from episode 1. Keep up the amazing work.

    Can't get enough of PleasureTown!
I am so hooked on PleasureTown! The storytelling, the voices, the music, all of it weaves together into one wonderful experience. I love it! Best podcast I've come across in... well... I don't even know how long.

    A true gem
Part Sand County Almanac, part Ecotopia, part Deadwood, PleasureTown is a true gem. The best writing, concept, and production out there. I am grateful for every episode.
  • Murflegirl
Great storytelling with characters you get to know!
I was a bit skeptical at the first episode, but I just finished the last episode of Season 2 and I am hooked. I’m always humming the PleasureTown theme song and I find myself yearning for more stories from Cyrus and Claude. This is definitely one of the best podcasts out there, and it takes you out of the ordinary and mundane and puts you in this amazing setting from the past - you almost feel like you’re there. Keep doing what you’re doing, Keith and Aaron. We love you as much as you love us.

    Fantastic storytelling
The weaving of stories of the characters and involvement of their listeners is incredible. Each podcast seems to end well before I am ready and blends right into the next one. Well worth the time if you enjoy storytelling!
  • Rbk106
    Imaginative stories
Not quite soap opera, but certainly broad in it’s reach following many characters popping in and out of time in the life of a community. Fanciful and philosophical.
  • gfitz33
    Love it
This is a great podcasts. The quality of the storytelling is phenomenal and the layering of histories of the town and its characters creates a uniquely rich story.
