TechWitchNeonGood but I have reservationsThe his podcast is full of great advice! But I have never liked Chris S. Between his return to the show, the changes he’s brought to it, and my dissatisfaction with how the network communicated about the harassment allegations against him, I just can’t listen anymore. The only genuinely regretful time I’ve abandoned a podcast.

araklustaMighty ttrpg scholars! You won't find any other podcast that delves so deeply into what makes role-playing games tick. They tackle a huge variety of topics, and are prominent and prolific voices of indie games. Keep it up Misdirected Mark!

TaustealthsuitBest role playing game podcast out thereI love listening to these guys. They focus a lot on more modern games and playing styles which I like, but they acknowledge that as long as you are having fun, there is no wrong way to role play.

GraystormNot enough timeThe whole collection from this studio is great whether I am learning about GMing from Misdirected Mark enjoying Pandas talking games everything is a blast

mumphry999Great place to learnThe hosts really go through a topic and break it down and examine it from different angles, very much to glean from this show, the first several minutes are usually a whats going on with each host before they get into the meat of the show. Also recorded with a chat room going on so you can interact with them live, check the website for date/time

Reviewer33345To much "filler"Get to the point. I don't mind a quick introduction/update, but 25 minutes is just boring. Stick it at the end so I can skip it if its going to be this long.

Observer138Great Show of Gaming AdviceI've only recently started listening to this show, but the wealth of knowledge on tabletop RPGs and the excellent additional show have quickly made it one of my favorites. And the conversational tone and hosts rapport with one another, combined with the insights on playing and running games, makes for an entertaining as well as educational experience.

Crazed ArtistNot particularly Misdirected....On the contrary, these shows and the other podcasts on this network are always spot on! Thanks for everything and keep up the great RPG discussions, advice, and stories. — Jen / Pixelscapes

Craig StrasserBetter than everI came late to this podcast, but I've listened to every back episode, and I can wholeheartedly guarantee you will improve your gaming sessions with the knowledge this team can share. It's getting better with age. The hosts joke about their episodes running long, but I feel I could listen for hours as they peel apart the layers of any topic.

greyauthorRPG Podcast Gold StandardI stumbled upon Misdirected Mark late last year and I immediately wished I'd found them sooner. Chris, Phil, and Old Man Logan have great chemistry and there is a bottomless pit of solid game perspective and advice. It's also really cool that they discuss game projects freely and openly so listeners can get a taste of the heart, blood, sweat, and tears that goes into game design. Highly recommend this show and the entire network. Keep up the good work!

Sean P KelleySOLID CONTENT, GOOD CHEMISTRYI have listened to these guys since a guy named Mark hosted it! Chris, Phil and Bob don't just know their RPG's, they're all around nice guys that have good chemistry among each other. Their sound quality is also top notch. They are model representatives of the hobby. Give them a listen. You won't be sorry.

Goodmania7000Heading to "jumped the shark" territoryHaving now listened religiously to the majority of the run I am getting that uneasy feeling that I got with Fear the Boot, Roll for Initiative and a few other high quality gaming podcasts. They each, seemingly, have a baked-in lifespan and I fear that MM is rapidly approaching the end of it's useful life. It's not as if the repetition of well worn topics is the root of the problem, there is enough variety and depth in the subjects to warrant a few goes round the block. The problem more is in the change in attitudes of the hosts. It seems that a little bit of success has gone to their heads and from being wry, witty and somewhat self-deprecating with the occaisonal burst of quite charming self congratulation they have morphed into irritatingly self-satisfied voices of authority. Try though they might, and Phil is a bit better on this than Chris they can't help the "our way is the best way" vibe creeping into everything. I am really disappointed because they are both very smart and entertaining guys but it is beginning to grate. I hope they can take this criticism in the spirit in which it was intended. I'd love to get back to the erudite, scattergun and humble texture of their earlier shows (kind of anywhere up to episode 150-175). Here's hoping.

ArqmageExcellent and Entertaining Story Game DiscussionPhil, Chris and Bob provide practical advice and topical discussions of story-focused role-playing games. They have interesting topics every week, including feedback from their live chat room. An excellent primer for taking your RPGs to higher narrative levels. Every episode has at least a couple gems to improve or reinforce your player or Game Master skills. All this, plus a slice of what's going on in gamer geek culture. Great production and audio quality. A must hear podcast every week.

Doc PalindromeBetter than the BestIf the MM podcast were simply a podcast about role-playing games, the hosts would gain high marks on all accounts for it's fantastic approach, accessibility, and knowledge. It would easily be considered among the most entertaining and educational podcasts about gaming. However, Misdirected Mark is also a community of highly-accepting, brilliant gamers whose resources are at the disposal of any old schlub (example: me) who happens to become a part of it. If you are a gamer or you have a gamer in your life and want to understand what all the fuss is about, I could not recommend MM enough. 7 stars.

Haloking2525Fan from TulsaI found this podcast about six months ago from a post on the D&D 5th ed page by merric blackmen. Since then I listened to about every episode (some multiple times) learned a lot about game design and GMing from the hosts. I purchased several games based on their recommendations. Phill- rockstar GM advise Chris- awesome game analysis Bob- gentleman and a scholar

KnightErrantJRKnightErrantJRFor me, there isn't a more compelling RPG discussion podcast going at the moment. The variety of topics is great, and those topics tend to be "upper level" topics, ones that tend to transcend specific game systems and are more about actually gaming. The strategic approach taken to the discussion is great, as is the chemistry between the show's hosts. It's something I look forward to each week.

IX TenebraeJam Packed Full of Great InfoChris and Phil provide years worth of experience to deconstruct and rebuild the scaffolding of table top RPGs. If you have any interest in RPGs, this is an important podcast to learn how to run (and play) better games. The personalities mesh so well and it's a joy to listen to.

aphrael6Education and Entertainment!Chris and Phil have great rapport and speak very knowledgably about designing, running, and playing games of all stripes on this ENnie nominated show. They have great guests and Chris does amazing interviews as well. This show is a great way to keep up with the happenings in the RPG world and to take a good look at how we game. I love catching their live show on Tuesdays! #chatroom4life
