Matt and Drea have kept me company as I’ve binged this entire podcast over the course of 3 months! Such a great companion to re-read the books alongside! I wish I could have found the podcast earlier to read and listen along in real time but it’s been SO fun to binge! Wish I could give 100/5 stars!

I started listening to this podcast about a year ago, I started reading along again and realized I finished the series for a 13th time before I finished listening to the first books reviews. I moved and was real busy and now a year later I’m back and loving hearing about book two. Really wish I had gotten into this podcast before it was finished! Absolutely fantastic review of my favorite series.

I recently found this podcast and have binged the entire thing. The hosts are hilarious and are very insightful and knowledgeable when it comes to Harry Potter. I’m a huge HP fan, and this podcast has only made my love for these books grow. All in all phenomenal podcast! 💕

I love this podcast. The books are so creative and it is a treat to reread the books then listen to your show. Hearing the chapters discussed from an adult’s perspective is refreshing. I am only in book 2 but I look forward to the remaining episodes.

I just found this Harry Potter Podcast and it is one of my new favorites. I do have one question. What are y’all’s thoughts on quidditch? I was thinking that it didn’t make sense because in the first book they have to forfeit the quidditch final, but Slytherin can just say that they cannot play because Malfoy has a hurt arm. What are y’all’s houses? I am a proud Gryffindor!!

This podcast is like being in a HP book club. They sometimes have different perspectives on what is happening each chapter that gives me a deeper appreciation of the series which is impressive considering this is my 3rd read through in the past year. They show how it hits everyone different then how you see it yourself. Can not wait to reach the end with them!

Hi it’s me again. I recently came back to listening, and I really forgot how much I love you guys! This podcast really dives into HP and explains the harder concepts, so listen to it! I am excited to continue and am glad that I came back to this awesome podcast because this is literally the best!

I was introduced to Harry Potter at a later age and so far have only seen the movies, that I love. BUT this podcast has inspired me to start reading the books. It’s so cool to be able to read along with the podcast. Very well done. Can’t wait to listen to them all!

Owl post has been a part of my daily routine for almost a year now. I have a somewhat long drive for work every day so every morning I listen to a chapter on audio book and then on my drive home I listen to that chapter of the podcast. I can only imagine what it would be like to hear the podcast the first time I read the books as a kid. Also, so sad we are almost at the end.

Heard about this podcast while listening to a different one. Coincidentally I had just begun reading the series after my teenage daughter encouraged me to do so. Your insights, perspectives, and interpretations made my reading experience so much richer. There is a lot I would have missed without it. And the best part is this podcast has been a great way to bond with my daughter, who listens to it as well :) We love your positive attitudes and respectful dialogue about a subject you so obviously enjoy. I’m a long time Potterhead, but first time podcast listener. Discovered Owl Post a few days ago, and am already at chapter 20 because it’s been going nonstop ever since! I introduced my son, (he’s a big HP fan too) and he agrees that the depth of detail in the discussions is amazing. We’re currently going through the audiobooks for a second time, and talk about the series in daily conversations. I’m so grateful that we now have Owl Post to enjoy together. Happy to say this is the first podcast I’ve ever heard, and it will likely remain one of my favorites for life!

Thank you for this podcast. I literally discovered “Owl Post” a few days ago. I’ve got a lot of catching up to do, but it’s been so wonderful listening to each discussion about the chapters so far. It’s giving me a better understanding of the story. Keep up the awesome podcast! I hope you’ll continue story discussions for the eight “Harry Potter” book, “Fantastic Beasts” narratives, and the smaller books from Hogwarts (ie., “Quidditch thru the Ages,” “The Beatle and the Bard”).

I recently bought a house with a long to-do list and started listening to this podcast to make my house projects more bearable. Now I find myself looking forward to these projects so I can listen to Owl Post and hear some of my own thoughts put into words and also listen to new perspectives and opinions pertaining to the many themes and ideas within the Harry Potter books. I first read the series in high school, then read it for a second time in college, and this podcast has inspired me to read it again now that I’m an adult. Both times I read the series, different elements within the books stood out to me and I’m excited to discover which parts of this story impact me most as an adult. Thank you for your thoughtful insight, humor, and ideas.

Best podcast ever!!!

I like this podcast a lot and like how it goes though all characters at a steady pace. But my one issue with it is that the intros are a bit to long and it takes a while for them to start taking about the chapter. Other then this I think this is a great podcast.

This podcast is Amazing! I listen to it while I’m writing and working on school assignments. The books are awesome, but this podcast helps me understand the books a little better than before. Listening to this also brings back memories of when I reading the books for the first time. Great work! 👍

I’ve finally decided to read the Harry Potter books. Having listened to other podcasts hosted by Matthew, I figured I’d give this one a shot too. I’m listening along as I read the books for the first time (I’ve seen the movies several times). Matthew and Drea clearly love these books and that makes these a joy to listen to as I read each chapter!

I love listening to this podcast! I love the format how they break down chapter by chapter and I thoroughly enjoy the way they both express their opinions even if they do lot see eye to eye. Very fun and I’m not looking forward to it ending, it has been my favorite Harry Potter podcast by far! Earlier in the year, I had decided to re-read the Harry Potter series. I had gotten a few chapters into the Prisoner of Azkaban when I found this podcast. I listened to the last couple of chapters I had just read and enjoyed the analysis so much I decided to start over and follow the podcast from the beginning, the Sorcerer’s Stone. I enjoy the different perspectives each host brings to the discussion along with their personalities. It makes for an interesting as well as a more enjoyable experience reading the books again. Though I may not always agree with them, I so wish I could participate in the discussion. Whether you are a long time fan or a newbie, don’t miss out on this wonderful addition to Harry Potter and the wizarding world.

Hi I’m Lexi and I’m a huge Harry Potter fan! During this quarantine I finished rereading the books for the seventeenth time, and I needed something new because I was still in the mood for Harry Potter. Luckily about a month ago a friend recommended this podcast for me and I just remembered the name. This podcast has been so entertaining! I especially love hearing them talk about my favorite characters in a deep manner that I have never seen before(definitely Ron’s character) . I love you seeing their views on each chapter of the book and seeing that they have the same amount of joy I have when I read the books. I definitely recommend this podcast and can’t wait for my favorite book Deathly Hallows to be read through.

This podcast is just bloody brilliant. In 2nd grade, I read the first 4 HP books back to back and then stopped. As a grown man in his mid-20s, I have made a personal goal to re-read the entire series, and this podcast is offering the most insightful commentary to the series of any podcast I’ve listened to. So glad I stumbled upon this gem, and love that is spurring me on as I read and complete the series that I loved so much as a kid!

This is the best Harry Potter podcast out their. I one time wrote a letter when I was 10 It filled my heart with glee listening to them read my letter on the show. I have been a fan for a long time. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a detailed overview of the books. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend.
