    Friar?!
I was very skeptical about thinking I was going to understand why a man would choose such a life. Nancy always has a way bringing her guests in so close they feel like family. Love this podcast ! I always want to hang out with the guests after. So good.

Nancy’s interview with an old colleague who became a friar is so beautiful! We get to the heart of what happened when one person listened to their life and quite surprisingly to themselves and to others discovered he was being called to a religious order. It’s so easy to assume that’s a weird thing, but the conversation she and George have emerge a patient, thoughtful process that leads to so much discovery of love and purpose. And joy! In a world that is so resistant to organized religion (and often for good reason), here is the chance to learn why and how it can be the most worthwhile thing in the world, regardless of what particular faith tradition it may be.

    Kibitzing with Broadway Nancy Giles
If you've ever fantasized dropping into the Carnegie Deli and trading quips and stories late into the wee hours with comedians and other show biz luminaries, you've found your podcast. After decades as a comedian and working actor on stage, screen and television, (and now doyenne of her own podcast!), Nancy Giles has developed a remarkable circle of interesting and funny friends, and now she's got a podcast where all of these interesting and funny people can gather to trade quips, and share songs, and funny stories in a virtual late night deli that's every bit as cozy as Carnegie, only without the surly waiters.

    Love Nancy and Bobby together
Nancy guides the conversation expertly and Bobby takes the reins with all of his knowledge. Love the clips interspersed throughout that enhance the dialogue. I could listen for hours.

    Great episode
Loved this episode on making art - great interviews with Roz Chast and Jules Arthur. Comforting to hear Roz say that deadlines and procrastination are part of what drive her process - I am not alone! Great to see photos of them and their work on Instagram. Loved Nancy’s Sondheim with ukulele- want to hear more.

    Be Careful Out There
Timely topic presented in thoughtful, humorous and honest manner. The kind of conversations we need to have more often in every community across this country. Captain Sean Kelly is the type of officer every police department needs heading their unions—kind of guy most gals would love to date. However, if a divorced man says he’s not marriage material, believe him the first time. Really enjoyed the podcast. Miss seeing you on CBS Sunday Morning—we need your balanced POV now more than ever.

I love Nancy Giles! She always has interesting views on CBS Sunday Mornings so I was pleased to find this podcast. There aren’t nearly enough episodes out but I hope more people post their reviews so Nancy attracts a bigger audience and does more!

Please don’t tell me there’s not more to come! I’m late in finding your podcast (although a longtime fan on CBS Sunday Morning.) Keep it going...I’m a big fan. This is also my first time rating a podcast. But that’s HOW much I like your style. Gimme more!!! :)

Nancy Giles Is A National Treasure
The world needs more Nancy Giles in it and I am so happy she has this podcast. I look forward to her CBS Sunday Morning contributions but it isn't enough for my taste. I loved the Robert Osborn interview before he sadly passed away last year and was riveted to her story about the taco shop recently. Nancy is a voice for common decency and reflection and I love when her face pops up in movies from her acting days.

    Giles Files
I wish Nancy Giles had a regular show somewhere, anywhere, but at least we have her podcasts. She's articulate, funny, has a unique style and perspective that just doesn't exist anywhere else. Give her a listen she'll bring you back for more.

The Giles Files is a great forum for a smart lady!
A lot of podcasts these days are just interviews or dry panel discussions but Nancy Giles and her production team have designed something more like a variety radio show. The issues and guests are insightful but this presentation is really well thought out and entertaining. The freedom of a podcast suits Giles' warm style and the guests so far have come across as comfortable; they sound more like they're talking to friend than an interviewer. If you like Nancy Giles in TV, you'll love what she brings to the podcast format. A really innovative and fun listen.

    The Giles Files podcast
My disclaimer at the outset: Nancy is my dearest friend of 40 years , so it's a bit difficult NOT to be biased. However, given that I do know her so well, and remain her biggest champion, I was thrilled that the podcast is so smart, so funny, so nuanced - a truly refreshing twist on the podcast genre. This podcast is difficult to categorize, and I believe that's one of its strengths. With commentary on the issues of the day, intelligent humor, musical interludes, insightful interviews - The Giles Files offers a bit of everything. I encourage everyone to check it out. You won't be disappointed, and I guarantee you'll feel uplifted as a result. I'm so proud of my fierce, fabulous friend. :- )

    Funny, Thoughtful, Inspiring!
One of Giles many gifts is a superbly resonant VOICE and it, alone, is a reason to listen to her. Trust me, it's, well....mellifluous. When it pops into my living room unannounced in a commercial or documentary, I'm glad to get a dose of what, to me, is one of the best voices in the world of voiceover. But Nancy has another voice - the voice of the mind, heart and soul - and it is as deep and resonant as the one for which she is more widely known. (It's also witty, self-deprecating and truly funny!) Her take on a wide range of subjects is fresh, insightful and grounded. I recommend these cleverly produced podcasts and wish there were more like them.

Hanging Out With A Smart, Cool, Funny Friend
This is a podcast that is fun, and it will also make you think and share great information with you. Sounds like what a great friend does, right? The content is engaging, and subjects run from politics to movies to everything in-between. Nancy Giles of CBS Sunday Morning and frequent contributor to MSNBC's AM Joy and Lawrence O'Donnell shows is someone who knows how to tell a story and make a point. Until she gets her own TV slot, enjoy her podcast. It is terrific!!

    Giles is Brilliant
I will admit that I am a longtime fan of Nancy Giles from her work on CBS Sunday Morning and was delighted to find this podcast. Her positivity about even the darkest of subjects has always been her gift. She is about action and education and thought-provoking analysis, with a soupçon of compassion. We need her voice!

Nancy is an invaluable voice in our culture and we should all be listening! She is hilarious, thoughtful, articulate, insightful, accessible and just generally right. She always makes me feel glad "someone said it!" There's no better someone.
