I came across this after finding and binge watching HoD on Netflix. With the exception of Whitney the hosts all seem like they’d rather be doing something else and I wondered more than once if they actually watched the show or just had it on in the background while they did other stuff. This is reinforced by the departure of 3 of 4 hosts throughout the podcast and the frequent absences of Whitney. They clearly miss the boat on several items including character names, plot points and conversations between characters. I rate the podcast 3/5 because the subject matter and guest stars are fun but hosts weigh it down and don’t seem to realize the genre they are recapping or the likely audience that is listening. Until new host TJ joins (a breath of fresh air who obviously loved the show). Criticism of the hosting aspect aside, its generally a fun podcast if you love(d) HoD and want to relive some moments with people who didn’t know the ending until it debuted.

If I could rate the group a zero I would. Please can we get different host for this fun show! The host are so boring, have no energy and worse of all so negative.

Wonder if anyone can count how many different ways the DP had to figure out how to hide Lemon's stomach. My favorite hiding moment was when she was cleaning the hotel room facing one way. Ok, I have a prediction for you which I think you will like.... Lemon and Joel are made for each other. Remember when he brought Zoe lunch in the hospital, if that was a male version of Lemon, then with him also apartment hunting and getting the papers ready, seals the deal. He will help her see things through his NYC background and she can round him out through small town life. Plus she can mold him to her liking but he will stand his ground when he has to for Lemon's best interest. Folks, I think we have found Lemon's soulmate! As for Zoe and Wade, their wedding will be the finale which reminds me of a little movie called Sweet Home Alabama. Love the show and keep up the great job! Quick Question: Do you think Kristina will have to air the dirty laundry of the other candidate and her niece? She can't be caught lying nor air bad press within her own family......

First off, Shelby was performing a monologue from "As You Like It" in tonight's episode, she wasn't "warming up the crowd" and a quick google search could have told you that. That said, I really like this podcast and your conversations about the show. Although I can't believe that no on has predicted that Brick will have to take some time off because of this surgery, opening the door for Johan to come serve as town doctor in his place. It seems like such an obvious way to bring Jonah back and of you really think he is the next stop on the Zoe tour, it seems like an obvious way to get him to stick around.

I'd like to take back my favorable review for a month ago. While initially it was nice to have someone to "talk" about Hart of Dixie with, they have been so incredibly negative the last 3 podcasts that I don't want to listen anymore. I understand the storylines are a little wacky and tons of stuff doesn't happen and it's not high drama, but come on, that's not what this show EVER was. If I want heavy drama or complicated storylines, I'll watch something else, but Hart of Dixie is more like Cotton Candy in the middle of the week. There are other great Afterbuzz show to listen to, like the ones for Glee and Grey's which enhance what you watch. I listened to one podcast prior to the show which totally bummed me out, but then I watched the episode and thought it was fun. I'm not saying you have to love everything but do you have to HATE everything about the show?

I am in Texas and a guy who watches this show. I hope George gets his Ms Right now with Tanzie. Zoe needs to work out her problems before she gets with any man. Wade is her Mr. Right now. I hate Ruby and think Levon and Lemon deseve a chance. I travel to the Georgia a lot so these little cities or towns are stuck in their ways and in some ways its like travelling thru a timewarp when you get there. I figured a little male perspective is needed when talking about certain shows where I see mostly women doing the podcasts. Keep up the great work.
