    Single Drunk Female was robbed
I found this podcast after I finished season 2 of Single Drunk Female, and then learned it had been cancelled (sorry, what???), and needed to hear more about the show asap. Turns out, the other episodes of this podcast are pretty great too. Spy Kids episode slapped.

    Almost the perfect yappers pod
As someone who loves movies and loves yapping about them, this podcast speaks to me. I was not expecting Garrick to be so funny (because I’ve just never seen his work/content but I do realize that he’s a professional comedian). My only tiny critique of this podcast, and maybe it’s because I’m spoiled by other ones I’ve listened to, is I wish more research was done on the movies or that they consistently watched the movie close to when they review it. Because there’s so many times where they don’t remember character’s or actor’s names, forget plot points, and just generally forget key elements of the movies they’re covering. Doesn’t take away from the quality of the show, but I find myself talking in the car correcting them because they’ve completely forgotten so much of the movie. Otherwise, great pod and will be listening all the ding dang time.

    Interupptions
Kelsey and Zach, two white people, talking over Garrett, a black man, while he tries to tell his OWN ENGAGEMENT story, is the state of what our country is in right now. Love the pod sometimes though.

LOVE the podcast , but small request
I love this podcast, I look forward to listening every Monday! I know you need to do rereleases this month and that’s completely fine, but could you please say in the title or description that it’s a rerelease? You did it for one of them, but on She’s the Man and Baahubali I felt like I was having crazy deja vu until I realized that yes, I did in fact already hear this episode 😅 But still five stars, such a fun pod!!
  • Mirandabuttercup
Fun but sometimes verges on inappropriate
I really enjoy this podcast and also enjoy the TryPod and Try Guys videos! As a movie fan, it’s exciting to hear a more casual and accessible movie podcast for non-pretentious people. My only critique would be that sometimes the conversations become way too sexual, especially when reviewing the Disney movies. I understand that many high schoolers are having sex and doing drugs (and that this was a big part of Kelsey’s high school experience), but it is brought up *constantly* even when not relevant to the movie. It feels inappropriate especially because the characters (and often the actors!!) being discussed are children. Speculating about the teenagers’ sex lives (and making fun of them for not being sexually active) feels super weird coming from a group of people in their 30s.

    my saving grace
I am being so genuine when I say this podcast has gotten me through film school. Being surrounded by a bunch of elitist cinephiles with pretentious opinions has exhausted me almost to the point of dropping out, but it’s listening to people like Kelsey, Garrick, and Zach who give me hope for the industry. It’s so reassuring to hear people who work in/care about film also laugh and ENJOY fun movies. They bring me back to the reason why I love film so much in the first place! Thank you for having fun and sharing the vibes that I need every week. xx (Also, reccomending My favorite guilty pleasure movie for the show: Contact (1997) staring Jodie Foster and Matthew McConaughey.)

I love this show! I have been listening since the beginning and I look forward to it every week.

    My go-to comfort-listen movie podcast
Been listening to these guys for years and love their candor with each other and their sometimes bizarre, often silly, always nerdy takes on guilty pleasure movies. Love that they throw in some movies they just love, hold the guilt. Keep it up!

    Love the passion!
I look forward to every Monday because of this podcast. The way the cast is so passionate about the movies, music, and art they discuss. Even if you don’t agree with all the opinions, it’s fun conversation and staying open minded isn’t hard. Keep up the good work!!

I like the Kelsey & Garrick episodes
Zach has started annoying me. His commentary felt pretentious and entitled in the recent episodes. Air vibes are off when he shares his essay movie criticisms and he tries to control the flow of the show too much.

    It’s a pleasure!!
I am a pretty new fan to Guilty Pleasures, but a long time fan of the Try Guys and I love movies. Garrick, Kelsey and Zach are a raucous ensemble of friends and I regularly find myself laughing out loud. I actually love what some people seem to not like. I love the lack of research, I love the tangents, and I love how loud Kelsey is. It is a group of friends talking about movies they are passionate about. I also like that they do a mix of old and new movies and shows. If it’s something I want to watch I will skip the episode to avoid spoilers. If I haven’t seen it, but don’t think I care to, I will listen and there are some movies I want to go watch because of this show, like Speed Racer, Sonic 2 and Paddington 2, and that is the true purpose of the show. Keep it up, you three! Edit- I loved your Across the Universe episode! The polarity between Zach and Kelsea was so fun. This was peak Guilty Pleasures!

    PIRATE RADIO
Please please please do pirate radio (uncensored version). The way Zach loves and talks about music AND their collective love for Phillip Seymour-Hoffman it would be a crime if they didn’t do this movie. I need everyone to talk about it cause it flew so far under the radar.

Airborne is the og Brink (& with Jack Black)
Have you seen the movie Airborne? It is similar to Brink but with Jack Black as the bully and Seth Green as a distant cousin. Might be worth a watch. Also someone mentioned it would be better if Brink went out in drag and it made me think of the other DCOM Motocrossed. Love the pod and listening to you on my commute makes the day way more enjoyable!
  • Chewing hater
I mean this as constructive as possible but…
…why does Kelsey insist on, not only eating during the podcast, but speaking with her mouth full? Like babes, if she’s hungry let her eat beforehand. There’s no reason we need to be hearing that on the pod. This makes it genuinely unlistenable for me. It’s an easy fix!!
  • lewiss18
    Best Podcast!!
This is my favorite podcast of all the podcasts! Honestly I would listen to Zach, Kelsey, and Garrick talk about literally anything. The best ever. That is all.
  • evilprincess143
    Love it!
I love watching bad movies w/my boyfriend and listening to this podcast together makes it even better. We listened to the twilight episode together and we both were cracking up. Also when I heard Garrick’s pleasures for the week in the How to lose a guy in 10 days ep, I made sure to replay it for my bf bc he was literally also watching solo leveling and playing helldiver 2! Garrick rocks

    Love this show
As a fan do Garrick, the try guys, and Kelsey I love this show, super glad u guys made it, it’s nice to just listen to even if I haven’t seen the movie. (Low key rating this while listening for confidently insecure fyi since u mentioned it on there I’m rating them all lol) anyway keep up the good work and thanks for making me laugh and cheering me up when I need to zone out from life ❤️

    My FAVORITE Podcast :)
This podcast lifts my mood so much! Which I thank all 3 of you for 🙏🏻 I deal with chronic major depression & it’s so uplifting for me when I listen to you guys. You make me laugh, you make it feel like as listeners we are friends with you (I’m not a creepy fan Lol I promise) you just create a very friendly feel 😋 I do have some movie suggestions & I was wondering where we send those?? You guys should do The Fountain Lol that movie is so cheesy but the plot idea is there. Gerrick (sorry idk how to spell your name) is my favorite 😅 Kelsey…you inspire me Lol. Zack you are awesome & I love your laugh!

    Kelsey ruins the show
Her interrupting and annoying personality makes it really difficult to listen to, it’s a bummer I’ve been a fan for a while, but I just can’t listen anymore.
  • Lil nibbelz
    So good.
    That is all.
  • LoFi451
    Fun for the most part
The hosts do fun reviews of old and new movies. I think Kelsey is intelligent and insightful, and I also find some personal life stuff too far off topic. (The show is strong without that stuff.) You all are smarties and truly energetic.

I’ve been sleeping on guilty pleasures.
Very funny podcast. But I’m really just here cause I am team Peeta. And team Josh Hutcherson. For transparency I was 14 when I developed this opinion but I stand by it! Peeta is the obvious choice over Gail.

    Love It!
I was shocked to read that people weren’t enjoying this podcast. While I understand that it might not be as insightful as it could be, I don’t think that’s the point. Even the title “Guilty Pleasures” implies that they’re not watching grade A films and discussing them with mind blowing realizations, and in fact, I’d find that to be pretty boring. I like how this is lighthearted and fun, and the three of them together bounce off of one another really well. Zach comes in with some film background, Garrick has some more of the acting knowledge, and Kelsey discusses the repercussions of how things are portrayed in media. Overall, just like a guilty pleasure movie, I know I can listen to this podcast for a fun and interesting brain break that is sure to lighten my mood. Is this podcast a pleasure, a guilty pleasure, or just plain guilty? I give it a pleasure all the way!!
  • HeyKaitHeyy
    Love the Podcast But…
I mean really love it but PLEASE stop eating while podcasting. Or if you must eat please do it away from the microphone. The talking while chewing is becoming unbearable and I don’t want to stop listening but it’s becoming a real problem. Seriously, the pod is great but the chewing sounds are sending my ADHD brain.
  • antler kween
    So close to being great
I love this podcast, and as a woman I hate even writing this, but Kelsey is not my fave. Eating is a audio medium, so eating during a lot of the episodes is kind of a turn off. I also don’t like her sense of humor but I know that may just be my taste in humor. Love all the guests though and the boys always have a lot of insightful takes!! Also the Cinderella a story episode was my favorite lol

    Cliff notes
Want to hear about your favorite movies talked about by people who barely paid attention to it when they watched? This is the podcast for you. I get it, it’s movies I’ve seen many times and they’ve only seen maybe once, but there’s three of them, you’d think they’d all get a least one part of the story the other two missed.

    Favorite podcast
This is my favorite podcast by far! Kelsey force the boys to watch ‘the Great’ on Hulu! There’s a new season coming out maybe you can get a sponsorship? A really great take on a period piece that I found so well done.
  • DWTP:)
A pleasure!!! But please bring back the guilts 🥺
I absolutely love the new perspectives this rambunctious group provide for the media they consume. I do miss the days of them watching actual Guilty P’s so I can relive the cringe if growing up in the 2000s. Also am patiently awaiting Tucci month merch 🤑
  • Thurberbook
    Pretty Good, Not Overly Insightful
It’s more a group of friends (Zach, Garrick and Kelsey) reacting to the movie than a critical insight. They all have an enthusiasm for movies in general which can be enjoyable if you click with the personalities. It’s light and pleasant in that regard. I stopped listening after a while due to Kelsey. She seems inconsiderate. I love people living their truths. However, she sort of bullies people who don’t align with her really specific viewpoint. It’s cringey and judgmental and just kind of bums me out.
  • jungleboy499
    Amazing show!
You will fall in love with this trio! They all have incredible knowledge on the film industry and they are hilarious. Their passions and genuine friendship come across through the podcast. Love this show!
