I listen to any episode they do about a movie or show that I watch. Their reviews are entertaining to listen to and they have good sensible predictions and conjecture. A great mix of humor and insight each time with a great dynamic from the hosts

I’m curious to see what Loki we get in Doomsday. Do we somehow get the Loki from the series or do we get another Loki variant from another timeline? I want to see the God of Stories Loki honestly. I love Tom Hiddleston’s work so I’m just glad to see that he’s in it. No matter what Loki we get, good or evil, Tom will make it memorable. I’d love to continue to see him play a role in the MCU, whether big or small.

Hey guys. Many companies make succession plans without it meaning that the boss is retiring soon. It sounds like Kennedy/Lucasfilm is doing just that. It sounds like the upcoming announcement will be about who will replace her, rather than announcing her retirement date.

Two guys talking and not even speculating on many ideas..people ranting about themselves through the first part of the show, a lot of inside laughs between themselves, skip the first half for any info.

I dig all the conversations, similar to what me and my buddies would have while having some beers. They cover all things geek and can’t wait for that Alien retrospective! Keep doing what you do fellas!

Please do your homework and write down the names of the characters from the film before you record a conversation for others to listen to.

Really like the pod whenever there’s a new movie out or show I always hope the boys r covering it. Sometime Taylor can love everything too much and travis is def the Simon cowell of the bunch. Love the guys!

I can’t actually search for what I want because the results are nothing but this podcast because they incorrectly tag the episodes with whatever is popular. Scummy and annoying.

The guys are great, and while I may disagree a lot, it’s always fun getting to join in on the conversation!

I love the podcast. You guys are funny and I love the opinions about our favorite shows. Only one critique I have is the sound quality is so low. I cannot hear you guys at all! Can you turn up the microphones a bit? The ads are so much louder and it’s weird when I have my volume all the way up and it goes from you guys to ads. Other than that, thanks for the great content.

I love the podcast. I know a lot of people complain about the ads, but I just skip them. I wanted to bring to your attention the topic of Halbrand and my theory as to who he is. I don’t believe he is one of the ringwraiths. They’ve spent the whole season building him up as a suspicious character, so if he became a Ringwraith where is the character arc. He went from suspicious to just plain evil. I’m undecided on whether he is the ghost king. I do believe that he is Sauron. I know that I literally just said that if he became evil it wouldn’t be a character arc. But I think in this case it’s different because he’s been evil the whole time. Everything I see points to that direction. You were exactly right Travis when you said that they tried to make it seem like you don’t know what he’s gonna do when Halbrand chases after Adar and Galadriel. I also wanted to bring up this other information I found out. Apparently the first 5 notes of the Halbrand theme and the first five of Sauron’s theme are exactly the same, except in the opposite order. I thought about this for a little bit and I realized: perhaps this is a subtle hint to the fact that they’re trying to paint Halbrand like Aragorn, when in fact he is the opposite of Aragorn, Sauron. There’s other things that lead me to the conclusion that Halbrand is Sauron, but I think this review is already long enough already so I’ll end it there

The ads is ridiculous. You had a 18 minute podcast and no joke, 8 minutes were ads. You need to space them out or get rid of some. It has made me turn off the podcast before because of how long they are. Two. The edits are weird. Where you place your ads and then come back to the conversation are usually poorly timed. Three. I think because it’s so many topics you guys are talking about in one episode, it gets muddied up with a lot

The host talks as if he just had an 8 ball…he’s need to slow down and pace himself. Stopped after 5 minutes.

It’s a free podcast …. Ads are fine by the way you can easily fast forward through ads. That being said I love the reviews and retrospectives they do. They have different views on their content which is so refreshing….

I’ve been a regular listener for over a year now. I love the “laid back , just chatting about stuff” atmosphere. It’s a great listen for all your geeky, nerdy, gaming, comic needs. Even has separate podcasts if you don’t want to listen to all in the GeekVerse. Some stand outs: the Marvel Alliance with Chris & Brent - great fans with knowledgeable thoughts & opinions. Travis’ Thought Bubbles - the leader of the geek verse has some solo time on movie news & reviews etc… his enthusiasm is contagious. The Star Wars Alliance with Katie & Clay- the good kind of fans. Anytime Travis , Taylor & Kirklin get together , which is a lot, will be hysterical.

Uninteresting talk with tons of ads and begging for more money on top of that. Just not good

My go-to podcast for all things marvel, Star Wars and more! Been listening since around infinity war and haven’t stopped since.

The discussions are not that great. Yet they’ll play 8 ads in a row (not an exaggeration AT ALL) The same ad will also play 3 times in a row. They’ll use the excuse that they have to play them but this is the only podcast I’ve come across that plays so many ads. It’s ridiculous

Have been listening to you forever. One of my favorite pods. Whether I’m jogging, cycling, hiking, camping or just working in the yard or around the house, your pod is the first I play. If I have to listen to some ads for hours of Geek content, so be it, 1st world problems. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Let the haters hate, keep up the great work.

I first listened to this podcast for the Joker review and have been hooked ever since. I have a very boring job so they help it fly by while getting to hear about all the stuff I love and they give off a friend vibe that’s amazing. It also feels good to know that if I donated or purchased merch I’m actually making a difference for them so I happily listen to ads and will buy merch for them. ONLY downside is that I miss the weekly out of mana #bringitback much love from a lifelong listener!

Your podcast inspired me to make a podcast on Facebook called movie review.

This review is based solely on your review of Episode 7 of WandaVision. Spoilers Ahead. This is a great podcast to listen to if you want to listen to people who know the source material well theorizing and discussing the plot in a clear and full manor. It is also a good source for Easter eggs. If you are confused about what is going on and/or want to feel like you are ahead of the story this is perfect. There isn’t a ton of discussion about the things that make these productions the massive hits that they are. I haven’t heard much about acting. That’s fine if it’s not your thing but a big reason that this show is such a hit is because of the performances of the whole cast, and especially Elizabeth Olsen. If you are a TV fan it is thrilling to watch her personify decades of the TV wives we grew up with. She has been nearly flawless taking on many different “characters” each week. I could write paragraphs about each performance but you get the point. The same can be said for things like music, special effects, and especially how well they are nailing the TV homages. You do mention whether they work for you but it’s not discussed much. Again this is fine, you can only talk about one thing at a time, but all of those things are important to many people. It’s okay to like whatever you like but it blows my mind that you were mostly negative on the Agatha All Along song. It is probably at or near the highlight of the season for many fans, because Katherine Hahn is so amazing in it. And to most people that was a genuine twist as well. The music references the theme from The Munsters, and doing it in a comedic way is perfect for television. That wouldn’t work in a film but that’s why this isn’t a film. They just introduced a likable villain at the turning point of the season. As television that is amazing and so fun. Imagine her being the Loki of this phase. For people who care about acting & performance it would be a dream come true. As far as Mephisto the reason he isn’t introduced yet (if it is him) is because Marvel is doing long form storytelling here. Agatha is the “villain” of this story the same way Loki was the villain of Avengers. You don’t want Thanos actually riding in with the Chitauri, you want him to remain mysterious until you can’t wait to see him. Anyway I think you had a lot of really good discussion and it’s a well produced show I just wanted to mention some of the things that a lot of people like me would like to hear about if you have opinions on them. P.S. Unless Evan Peters doesn’t want to be Quicksilver anymore I can’t see it not being the Fox Quicksilver, because that’s the coolest thing to do and when has Marvel not done the coolest thing when given the chance.

These folks are fantastic! Light, fun, and filled with cool info on my favorites. If you’re a geek, or a geek sympathizer, this is a must listen!

Love how they discuss the on screen movies and tv as well as the behind the scenes factoids I need! Great banter, light hearted and really educated about pop culture. I love it!

Update: I’ve noticed the change in format and I wanna let y’all know how much appreciated the level of professionalism. Now let’s get geeking! I love this podcast. There start things off fast and always cut to the chase. My only complaint and I really hope they read this review is that the interrupt the podcast with ads. I don’t mind the ads but one minute they are in the middle of a convo and I’m deep in thought and then BOOOM an ad that is usually louder than the podcast itself comes bursting in without warning. This feels like a cheap trick and I would give 5 stars once they change this. Even more professional podcasts at least say we are going to break because this gives the listener a chance to use that skip button. So please change the way ads are in the podcast. Please like pretty please

Been listening since avengers endgame was coming out. You guys are great and hilarious forget all the haters bc if your complaining about something that’s free, then you got issues. I don’t normally write a review too lazy but Travis going HAM on some sad sack crying and leaving a 2 star was the best. The quickest way to my heart is pettiness. A self proclaimed Geek Podcast not knowing that Dune is a classic Sci-Fi novel is mind blowing. Disappointing!!!

Funny and insightful comments, whether it’s a solo review pod, or a group mêlée, I really enjoy this podcast. It’s a great pod for the car. They will admit they don’t have the best equipment; but this pod is not about that, it’s about honest reviews and a bit of fun along the way.
