W@@1ouHelpful and entertaining Hearthstone show, great communityI’ve been listening to this show for years and finally got around to writing a deservedly glowing review for it. Super helpful for keeping up on the latest developments with the game, and a great set of hosts who each bring their own flavor and extensive knowledge. They’ve also fostered one of the most welcoming and lovely communities on the internet on their Discord. Would highly recommend to anyone who plays Hearthstone!

Reebok4523Wow! Really? We got some Butt hurt Dems on this podcast. I dropped another hearth pod because of insensitive hateful remarks about anyone who supports Trump. This podcast is more careful but why do we have to constantly hear about your political views on a hearthstone podcast? All the president is doing is putting America first. So much backlash about deporting criminal migrants who would kill you without hesitation. Trying going to another country without a passport and see what happens to you. Also people who didn’t support Biden when he won didn’t bash him or slander people who support the policies he introduced. This whole bad review because we just can’t keep the pod about hearthstone.
-
EnadilStay on TopicI subscribed for a short while, but it turned me off when they discussed polarizing topics unrelated to Hearthstone so frequently. To improve the show I would recommend keeping WickedGood and Magesa then rotating in a new third host.
-
TexMuhamiBest Hearthstone PodcastI found this podcast as an avid consumer of video game podcasts that I play and Hearthstone is one of my favorite games from the past decade. The hosts Magesa, Wickedgood, and Edelweiess are knowledgeable, engaged, and fantastic conversationalists. They often help me learn about trends and keep me apprised of upcoming Hearthstone content. You’re doing yourself a disservice as a Hearthstone player if you don’t subscribe and listen to this show on a weekly basis.

JuniorFnxThe Most Complete HS Podcast AroundThere are tons of great Hearthstone podcasts out there, but if you only listen to one, it should be Coin Concede. The hosts (currently Wickedgood, Edelweiss, and Magesa) are knowledgeable and talented Hearthstone players who clearly explain the week's news. New cards, shifts in the meta, e-sports, and explanations of how to pilot trending decks are discussed and neatly presented to the listeners. Its Discord also hosts one of the most interactive and positive Hearthstone communities around. Anyone serious about the game should have this podcast on in regular rotation.

😳👌🏼👄👁Informative, lighthearted, my favorite thing to listen while working outAs a busy person, I have very limited time to keep up with what’s going on on hearthstone. Thanks to this podcast, I can multitask during my daily workout and keep up to date with my favorite game
-
Dr. CigarettesEntertaining Hearthstone PodcastThis is a great podcast for hearthstone players. I am primarily a Wild/Arena/Duels player and this is primarily a Standard podcast, but the hosts are fun and each have unique play styles. It is interesting to hear standard being discussed from 3 distinct view points. They also cover news related to Team 5 and Blizzard, often with a good amount of sophistication owing to how engrained they are in the community. Overall, a great podcast.
-
hansen1205DownhillThis show used to be one of my favorites covering the Hearthstone scene. Now that Hat has gotten too big for his britches, it’s almost unbearable to listen to. He took the Angry Chicken down with him as well. A shame!
-
MagesaEntertaining and Informative!I’ve played Hearthstone since 2015 but only found this podcast a few months ago (via the Vicious Syndicate podcast). It’s become an absolute favorite. The hosts are exceptionally talented players engrained in the community. They have insights about decks and metas that have definitely upped my game and made me think of things in new ways. More than that, they’re absolutely relatable even when playing at dizzying rank heights, bring diverse perspectives to the game, and are just plain fun. I’ve learned a lot and laughed a lot too! Thanks for brightening my commute, Coin Concede!

chronogenre87Only one host actually caresJust tuned in after a break to this show which says in the title “a hearthstone podcast” to hear one of the hosts say “have to be honest listener, I don’t give a crap about hearthstone right now.” Turned it off and won’t go back. Not the first time it felt like no one but Hat cares…

ParallelogramistLove the showLots of insightful information, keep it up :)

VigilSCCompetitive Insight For Any Level Of PlayerAdmittedly, I got into CC pretty late in the podcast game. I only knew about the show from Hat being a guest on The Angry Chicken podcast, which was my first ever podcast (which Hat is now a host on). I don’t consider myself a competitive Hearthstone player but a very involved hearthstone player. As such, this show is great for the competitive insight you can’t really get from playing the game yourself at a casual level. Hat, Edelweiss and Botticus go into great depth about cards, archetypes and tournament meta. I’ve never played a game as long as I have with hearthstone and as long as it keeps being updated, I’ll be a fan of the game and a listener of the podcast. Lastly, if I ever am able to catch the hosts on ladder… I’ll be sure to coin concede to them! -VigilSC

Stowellj6288What a great showI’ve been playing hearthstone since beta and yet somehow only recently stumbled onto this podcast. Coin concede is an S tier show hands down. The three hosts bring different perspectives as hearthstone morphs from a game into a platform, which means the conversations are always interesting. You’re missing out if you aren’t listening!
-
vinospumoniBeneficial ContentThe show has done an outstanding job and continues to do so. Everything is current and touches on all game modes with a focus on high level play. I get a lot out of listening to this show each week and it has taken my game to the next level.
-
BlakSutolDefinitive Hearthstone PodcastProduced with a level of professionalism that far exceeds what you might expect from an amateur video game podcast, and hosted by a crew with great chemistry. Regular guests include top content creators and game developers. Coin concede ticks every box.

Anton Feyerherm (Fireherm)Amazing podcastI got back into Hearthstone in about mid-August last year and found this podcast a few months later and it has been so helpful and welcoming for someone who never really knew about the competitive side of the game. This show has really helped me get better at understanding the game while also introducing new faces and making the whole experience fun and happy even in a time like 2020. Hope all of the hosts are having a wonderful start of the year (Other than the you-know-what at the you-know-where) and hopefully I can see you on the ladder sometime in the future!
-
Jaker 7777Fun, friendly, educationalThis is a great podcast. Fun: it’s fun to listen to these hosts. And I can tell they are having fun recording the episodes. Friendly: I’ve found myself getting to know the hosts and feel like they are my hearthStone friends. Educational: I like learning more about the game. The hosts know the history of the game (I don’t, I started with the Rise of Shadows). Also, they fill me in on the competitive scene. Finally, I like hearing their ideas about the future of the game. Overall, great show. I look forward to every episode.
-
ThunderSheepMDGreat Hearthstone PodcastIf you like to play Hearthstone, and you like winning those games, then this podcast is for you. Ridiculous Hat, Botticus, and Edelweiss are smart, funny, and also caring people. You'll hear them talk about what's happening on the ladder, in Esports, and also in life. It's worth your time.
-
proxaloxThe best hearthstone podcast aroundI’m a frequent podcast listener. When I got into hearthstone I was sure I would be able to find a podcast that did a great job helping me understand the game. Coin Concede is that podcast. The hosts are all incredible - special shout out to Hat for being an all around excellent hearthstone resource and prolific podcast producer. If you want to listen to a highly enjoyable, very educational and, totally awesome, podcast about hearthstone look no further.
-
Tomes247One of the best Hearthstone podcastsI’ve been playing HS since 2014 and have been listening to this podcast for a few years. It’s superb – the banter between the hosts is excellent, and Edelweiss in particular is a fantastic addition to the show. You will learn a ton about Hearthstone by listening, in addition to a lot of important lessons about resilience and staying positive. The best Hearthstone podcast with multiple hosts out there. Also, hats off to Hat for the superb puns! :D
-
elB!Hat and Co.I have been playing Hearthstone for a few years now and really enjoy Coin Concede! My first year at work my commute was 2-4 hours daily on the train. Playing Hearthstone on the commute really helped keep my energy positive. Hat and the producers of the podcast do a great job of mixing comedy and gaming expertise into a bite size show that's fun to engage with. Keep up the great work friends! MogwaiBubble#1867

Sisiepwh 3282Awesome awesome show- ShinyPantsAs a father of three and i work 50-60 hour weeks, I always make time for the crew at coin concede. Been playing for a lil over three years, and made legend for the first time last month!! The amount of knowledge and skills I have gained from the show and more importantly the discord channel has been the most instrumental aspect to me improving my game. Love the hosts Ridiculous Hat, Botticus and Edelweiss (my 9 y/o daughter’s fave)!! I Miss Appa of course, but Edelwiess has slid in as a host with out the show miss a beat. I cannot stress enough how welcoming and awesome the coin concede crew and community is. If you love Hearthstone and are serious about improving your game then Coin Concede is a must listen and follow!!
-
JpcsebEven better than Fishy FlyerI am not one to usually listen to podcasts with my go to being Critical Role if any; however, the moment Hat mentioned Coin Concede in his interview with Rarran, I knew I had to give this a try and I don’t regret it at all. Not only is this show hysterical and entertaining, it is informative, engaging, and upbeat, a feeling that can be hard to find in the Hs community nowadays. I open up Podcast app everyday just in case a new episode has been uploaded and am always sad when it ends. Looking forward to the next. Stay awesome, guys!!
-
tereve727Top quality podcastThis is one of those podcasts you continue listening to even after you stop playing the game.
-
drfish7770Great Podcast! Worth the listen every week!Coin Concede has helped me gain valuable information about hearthstone and has stayed true to making the competitive side accessible. Absolutely love listening each week for all the news, decks, tourney info, and banter! Thank you for being so positive in times where it is very tough!
-
Wi|ndMore than a podcastBeen listening for a couple years now and the podcast is truly a wonderful hearthstone community. Listen to well organized and thought out content but also get involved in the discord and community events. You’ll make friends and find people and information to support you in helping you achieve your hearthstone goals, whatever they may be! Excellent podcast—the best in all of Hearthstone!

Cache FlowI can admit when I am wrong. So after listening to one episode, not even in it’s entirety, I had pretty much written the show off. I took to Reddit and was convinced that I should go back and try again. So I did, and I am really glad I did. I joined then discord and I am hooked. I haven’t had much time to engage with the community, but I haven’t muted it, and that means something cuz reading the conversations and listening to the pod I have a renewed...thirst to play, learn, and grow. I have been playing HS since launch and have yet to hit legend. (Sad I know) BUT I’m well on my way. Thanks CC! You guys rock.
-
danandstephinsfMust listenWhy listen to other podcasts who summarize and comment on what they heard on Coin Concede when you can just listen to Coin Concede? This is a top quality podcast on every level; the content, audio, format, community and puns are all awesome. Some much great insight on tournaments, deckbuilding, and gameplay. I’ve definitely improved play play a lot since I started listening. This is the capstone of the 3 best HS podcasts (Walk to Work and Squelch are the others). Five out of Five, would recommend. - Lucky

Baximus919Coin Concede has made me a better Hearthstone Player and personI really have enjoyed this podcast since I found it. The discord is really an incredible place that is supportive for Hearthstone and life. A great group of individuals building a community around my favorite game. Enjoy the hosts insight and personalities. Good luck trying to listen on anything but 1x because RidiculousHat is speedy! Excited for many many more podcasts from them.

Cartman333Want to improve at Hearthstone? Start here!Simply put: this podcast, and its surrounding community, are the number one reason that I have improved at Hearthstone over the past few years. You'd be hard-pressed to find another Hearthstone resource with the same amount of knowledge, positivity, and inclusion as Coin Concede. The hosts are humorous, personable, and passionate about the game. The podcast is a rich source of information, and the community (particularly in the Discord) welcomes all comers with the desire to help them grow as players and enjoy the game more. If you enjoy Hearthstone, don't miss this podcast!
-
Zedd529Happy listener!I’ve been meaning to leave a review for several weeks so here we go. I started listening to this podcast as well as Vicious Syndicate around the beginning of Scholomance Academy. I’m delighted to say that after playing hearthstone casually since beta, I finally hit legend for the first time this month with lots of help from these communities. Keep up the great content! Zedd529

Kobus3456Look forward to it every week.My favorite Hearthstone podcast by far. Great recap of the week in HS, lots of good information and great tips for ladder.

powrtrioGreat podcastI appreciate you guys and gals great show.

jgvvbjBotticus, sign my mousepadCoin concede is a great podcast for anyone trying to breakthrough and elevate their gameplay to the next level. Especially big fan of Botticus. I find his take on things both insightful and enlightening. Every episode I learn at least one valuable thing, usually more. If you find yourself unsure of how to improve or what to try next they regularly discuss their favorite decks/specific cards/card combos. Plus usually theres a good interview every couple of episodes with a pro player and those can be especially interesting. Thank you to any of the cast that may see this. Well played. You rock!
-
Dewback6Great showFun hosts. In-depth discussion.
-
Jared OrrSmart and Entertaining!Such a great show! The hosts are knowledgeable and fun to listen to. I've learned and improved a ton by listening. The guests provide excellent perspective and tips too.
-
MorganteeExcellent combination of Hearthstone knowledge and humorListening to this podcast helped introduce me to the more competitive side of Hearthstone. The crew is super knowledgeable about the game and I learned a lot from them. For me to regularly listen to a podcast though there has to be some humor mixed in and Coin Concede hits a great balance. The “Decksplanations” section and the player interviews they do are probably my favorite segments. They also analyze current events like buffs, nerfs, and other meta stuff. I also need to mention the Coin Concede community. The Discord server is active and all the members I’ve run into are super nice. A lot of people are willing to review your replays and stuff too so it’s also a great place to improve your game. Hats off to the crew for building such a great community (and to the members themselves). Thanks for making the show! Karhu/Brody

AlysendryaIn depthIf you’re a hardcore deep dives into Hearthstone meta and analysis, this is the pod for you! Perfect for yard work or other menial long tasks, cause it goes for a long time(which is good!) so you don’t have to switch much, just can put it on and leave it for awhile
-
JazzManIMThese guys do their homeworkThe hosts are always very insightful about the game and on top of news and trends going on within the community. A good mix of competitive analysis and opinion about the game. I have enjoyed the guests on recently! Keep up the good work.
-
muhrmBest Hearthstone PodcastEasily the best for standard info every week. Keeps up to date with the meta and great in depth reviews. Awesome personalities as well!

GStarrEsqThe Podcaster’s PodcastOver the last two years I have been listening to a wide variety of Hearthstone podcasts, and while there are several that are excellent, I can wholeheartedly state that if one were forced to choose amongst them, Coin Concede would almost certainly be the show deserving of what for many is inevitably limited content consumption bandwidth. Other Hearthstone podcasts may be a bit funnier (looking at you 1600 Dust), yet Coin Concede has me laughing out loud almost every episode; while certain others may be a bit more … “wholesome” (hello Happy Hearthstone), yet the Coin Concede hosts come off as principled-but-relatable gamers broadly committed to laudable humanitarian ideals with an acute sensitivity to those issues most relevant to their audience and the gaming community in general. The show’s format is disciplined without being unduly rigid. The analysis is accurate, tight, timely, and insightful—yet still eminently accessible. The delivery is measured, with plenty of interesting color commentary, and the show is skillfully edited. All three hosts bring a unique perspective, and they have somehow hilariously managed to sort themselves into the show’s id, ego, and superego. The banter and comradery may not always be coruscating, but the sense of friendship and community between the hosts, guests, and listeners produces a total podcast experience much greater than the sum of the individual content components. If podcasts and Hearthstone intersect in your life at all, start here—you’ll be intensely glad you did.” ~GStarrEsq

BinocuLarzThanks to Coin ConcedeBeen listening to Coin Concede for quite a while and have enjoyed the content. Coin Concede brings a wealth of helpful knowledge and advice. Recently I hit the Highlander Rogue versus Quest Priest match up and I remembered their advice and handily won the game. I felt compelled to finally write in and say thanks to the entire Coin Concede team. Special thanks to Ridiculuous Hat for all of his efforts in THL. It must be a lot of work to keep such a fun and competitive league going. Looking forward to re-joining this summer for a season. ~BinocuLars

BakhtinThey lost my respectThere is some decent stuff in here if you’re a hardcore Hearthstone player. But I’m going to be honest: after their feckless and cowardly stance on Blizzard, Hong Kong and the Blitzchung debacle, I can’t bring myself to listen anymore. I can’t continue to support a Pod that can’t won’t dully denounce a company siding with an brutally authoritarian government. Nobody is saying they need to boycott blizzard, or lead protests or anything. But goodness gracious... at least have the moral fortitude to unequivocally condemn their siding with a country that is ethnically cleansing their citizens and brutally repressing the people of Hong Kong. (Did I mention the organ harvesting?) You have to be a real coward to say “I don’t want to take a side” when literal human rights (and human lives) are on the line. If you can’t denounce Blizzard’s action in this incident, like Kibler and ThatsAdmirable and many others have... then I don’t want to support you. Hell, even the US congress officially denounced it!

CapWatkinsBest Hearthstone Podcast Out ThereAs a casual player, I was looking for a podcast to help me understand the game better. I searched online and tried a few before stumbling on CoinConcede. I love the format, and the way the hosts explain and talk about the cards, deck, etc. makes it easy for a new player to get familiar with things, and then to even go deeper. It’s the one podcast I look forward to every single week, and I’ve never missed listening to an episode in the last two years.
-
MattatarnsBest Hearthstone Podcast by farWhen people ask me about the best Hearthstone Podcast, I don't send them to the Angry Chicken anymore. I send them here. This show covers everything and the insight and analysis are better. The discord community is great and it keeps me invested in the game.
-
nbardo11More than a podcastEasily my favorite hearthstone podcast. More than that, there is a community developed around it of like minded players and enthusiasts. Im glad to have found it.
-
_squint_Helpful and a fun listenHello all! Starting playing around whispers of the old gods and found this pod around knights of the frozen throne. All three of you have a unique insight to the game and it is very helpful to hear differing opinions on the same topic. Some might think waggle pick is trash and others don’t 😜 Please keep up the good work. P.S. Love you Hat
-
theKleshasRich with insightsThe episode on women in gaming was delightful. Coin Concede is always a very informative show. This episode was unique and much needed. I learned so much and was entertained at the same time. Great getting to know these women professionals and the issues women and nonbinary players face made my day. Highly recommended!
-
R.E.A-G.One of my favoritesCoin Concede is my favorite long-form Hearthstone podcast, and I always struggle with the choice between rushing to listen to it as soon as it drops or waiting to listen to it last of the weekly set. Considering how timely the commentary and advice is, though, it does not pay to wait too long! The hosts are very experienced players of the game and have a great energy and humor that pervades the show and makes the time fly. Though I don’t play in tournaments, their insight into how tournament play impacts the ladder is very helpful. If you want to take Hearthstone a little bit more seriously, you should definitely check out the show. Roger Alix-Gaudreau (aka ItinerantWizard)
