sitcrookedtalkstraightLiving vicariously through the brosI let them watch movies and tell me about them, it’s the perfect scenario.
-
leahungracefulThey’ve done it againAnother fantastic bros podcast. You two have colored my internal monologue and how I watch TV and movies. You two are wonderfully grumpy sometimes but have the best headcanons and hot-takes.
-
Jana_BuenoLOL funnyIt’s crazy to think I’ve been listening to these guys for about 5 years! Highly recommended this podcast, it’s been a great pandemic relief!

39472929We have to go backThank you for the L O S T deep dive that we didn’t know we needed. These two have guided me through my recent quarantine film festival of scream 2, last of the Mohicans, and now my first favorite show. There’s something to comforting about the insanely detailed analyses they provide, and I hope they never stop. We need you now more than ever! Not penny’s boat!

Carrie CantaluppiAlways delightfulA friend discovered Bros Watch PLL Too years ago and we are so grateful that you have another podcast so we can listen to your banter now that the show is over. One of the only podcasts that makes me LOL on a regular basis!
-
JulesellePlease do the prestige!!!I absolutely love headcannon and bros watch pll too. Now please do the prestige!
-
daxpupReally love the musingsLove these podcasts and really enjoying as the bros venture on to cover all sorts of different films and tv shows-- really enjoy the dynamic between you too! Keep it up!

GabrielleNMFave brosMy favorite podcasters by far! They always make me LOL at work listening to their hilarious impressions, comments, and theories. Their Batman V Superman podcast I've gone back to listen to multiple time as a semi hate rewatch of the worst movie in cinematic history 😂😂😂😂

rockwutugotAnd thus all of my commuting begins.Like many others, I came to love the Bros Watch PLL Too podcast and was thrilled to discover Marco and Bejamin were discussing other forms of tv/movies. Honestly at this point I would listen to them to discuss just about anything. Their bantering has become the soundtrack to my otherwise depressingly long commute. Plus I enjoy looking like a crazy person whilst laughing in stopped traffic. Sidenote: Thank you for sticking it out through the Twilight series! You put into words so many of the problematic feelings I had when I watched those both in terms of film production and storyline. Plus, more laughs.

bad sad dadsLove this podcastI low key listen to movie reviews I never seen just to hear you compare random things to the cast of PLL

Alleyhellcat4everNo. 40 Beauty and the BeastSo I'm a Year behind, but I just want to correct you on some of your beauty and the beast comments when relating it from the Live Action to the animated. Stanley Tucci's character was not in the original, the closest thing to relate his character to was Forte in the Enchanted Christmas Beauty and the Beast movie who was originally played by Tim Curry. But he was a villain in that movie. BUT I am very happy to hear you guys love this movie, because this is one of my most favorite Disney films, along with the animated film. Chip's father never appeared in the animated film, nor did Cogsworth's wife. The spell is longer and more detailed in this one. In the original, it was not stated if the townspeople would lose their memory of the prince and the castle or not. Adrian Schiller plays Monsieur D'arque in this one, originally played by Tony Jay in the animated one. Sorry for ranting was just filling in some stuff. The movie found a way to connect things from the original story, and the animated film into this one. Like Maurice taking a rose for Belle and getting punished is from the story. This film also was able to fill in some of the missing things from the animated movie. I think you guys should probably try to do Sweeny Todd or Into the Woods if you wouldn't mind doing another musical film.

Nick ValenciaMy favorite podcast atmThe revamped structure of the podcast is super refreshing and awesome! Marco and Benji are two down to earth and amazing dude who I never tire of listening to. If you enjoy movies check out this podcast
-
Patrick in Omaha.Enjoying this podcast. If you like dry droll largely understated commentary on the latest pop culture you’ll enjoy this podcast. It’s as good as Bros watch PLL too!
-
Maranda__LynnAwesome podcast but...I love the podcast but the only episode i can play is No.000 Version 2.0 on the website page, none of the other podcasts will play on the website or itunes. They just say episode is temporarily unavailable. I've unsubcribed and re-subscribed multiple times and i get the same response. This happens on both my phone and on the computer. I just wanted to know maybe what i'm doing wrong or what the issue would be. Other than this problem I'm a huge fan of you guys!!
-
Alyssadancer5amazingthis podcast is so amazing!! i would love for you guys to do episodes on A Very Potter Musical, A Very Potter Sequel, and A Very Potter Senior Year!!!
-
WitterWifeThe Bros have ruined podcasts for me!NOTHING ELSE IS AS GOOD. I would listen to these two discuss bread for 3 hours. Great arguments, knowledge, and humor.
-
Yanishkabob89PigtuniaRisesI would listen to these guys talk about paint drying. I haven't listened to any other podcasts in months.
-
CassieeLeeThanksI just love you guys, since the first Ep of this podcast and before on Bros watch PLL Too I literally can't go to sleep without it playing in the background. I'm not kidding when I say I have listened to the Harry Potter episodes and Hunger Games episodes 25 times each, at least. I'm so excited to add the hilarious Twilight series to my rotation. You guys are just great and an actual highlight of my day. If interested I would suggest maybe podcasting the Star Trek(2009) series. Thank y'all so much for such great content. -Cassie

EmmaJane7104Love these guysI am a huge fan of Benji and Marco's other podcast, Bros Watch PLL Too, so in the off season I decided to try this one. They bring the same humor, chemistry and insight to their conversation of film franchises that they do to PLL episodes. The structure is different, fewer impressions and line reading, which is a bit sad because I love when they do that, but it works better for discussing a film. Looking forward to more episodes!
-
lcomaeFantasticThis podcast is just hilarious and really well-done. The format works really well for dissecting movies, and I say this as someone who hasn't watched many of the movies they've podcasted on. I actually almost enjoy the episodes on movies Marco and Benji hate more than ones they love. The Batman v Superman one cracks me up.
-
leia_angelusAwesomeReally enjoy you guys!
-
JazusaurLove it!This podcast is fabulous! Marco and Benji somehow find a way to explain all of the infuriating and awesome elements of movies in a hilarious way! This podcast makes whatever movie they are talking about worth watching just to hear their thoughts!
-
tafrechAddictedNever stop podcasting.
-
VanderjesusWho Hates Ron?!?You guys are great. The one thing I would change is you need more Heather Hogan. Always more Heather Hogan.
-
ShealianneHilariousListening to this podcast is like watching a movie with your best friends if only you're best friends had a constant stream of hilarious commentary. This podcast has instilled in me a love of movies that are so cheesy that they're amazing. I know that the bros are busy working on their PLL podcast, but I can't help but make a wish list of movies that I'd love to see them review. Please bring head canon back!
-
Aligator62AwesomeLove this podcast, and all your podcasts! You guys need to watch/review this 2003 Chinese film called hero it's ridiculous.
-
Fireheart14Insightful. Brutally Honest. While the format of this podcast differs from that of "Bros Watch PLL Too" it contains the same bite and insight. It should be mentioned that I was finally convinced to watch all of the Star Wars movies after it was announced that this podcast would begin covering them, and it was an excellent decision. If you want a breakdown of these films on the strength of their performances and technical elements with some fun commentary thrown in, this is the podcast for you. (Also, while someone outside of the guidelines of this podcast, I'm still holding out hope that they'll do an episode about the Star Wars Holiday Special - if for nothing else than to get Benjamin Light blantantly slurring his words as he debates with Marco which jaunty musical number was better as his soul slowly dies... and I mean that in the kindest way possible.)

mom2sevenLove my Bros…..I followed them over from "Bros Watch PLL”. I would follow them to Timbuktu if necessary. It is unnatural how a 40-something stay-at-home mom would love these guys so much. I get giddy when I see a new podcast from them has downloaded. I missed them during the PLL hiatus, so when I discovered that they covered Harry Potter, I immediately subscribed. They influenced me to re-read the entire series now. I am on “Prisoner of Azkaban” and love it in a whole new way. They got me thinking deeper about world-building, and character motivations. I went back and re-watched the first 2 movies with a fresh and critical eye. I love how these hilarious and often vulgar these bros are, but remain so insightful, articulate and intelligent. I swear I am in love with Marco and Benji. Don’t hesitate. DOWNLOAD immediately. I am the only person left on the planet that doesn’t give a crap about Star Wars, but I am gonna watch, JUST so I can listen to their thoughts. Keep up the great work guys!! Love y’all!!

Laurensnumber1fanSorority RowI'm a fan of your PLL podcast so I'm not shocked how great your headcanon podcast is. I'm sure you guys already have another franchise picked out after you post "The Force Awakens" podcast but I was wondering, do you do standalone films, because if you do I have a great suggestion for you! It's the 2009 slasher film Sorority Row! If you haven't seen it it's basically the film version of PLL set in college instead of high school. If that doesn't sell the movie for you it stars pretty little liars very own Julian Morris and Rumer Willis. And if that doesn't sell the movie for Carrie Fisher is the house mother in it! Is Sorority Row an amazing film? No. But it is a fun movie that I think would be perfect for you guys to talk about!
-
ryan_fillerAwesome podcast!Love the episodes! One of my co-workers, Raquel, told me I had to listen to the Harry Potter episodes but I started with the Star Wars episodes. Looking forward to all of the HP and Hunger Games episodes. Can’t wait to hear what you guys think of Force Awakens!
-
Jona2dUtterly enjoyableI have loved hearing the guys on 'Bros Watch PLL too', and now I'm hooked on this! I enjoy hearing the insightful commentary on all of the movies they've discussed. What is your next new podcast going to be, and where can I subscribe? 😀
-
kyraleeanLow key/high key obsessedI love the quick and intelligent voice of this podcast. It's such an entertaining way to look at storytelling and film -- listening to their take on these franchises (and on PLL) is something I consistently look forward to. I seriously love the dry and smart humor, plus the discussion of cinematography and the art of film is awesome.
-
BabyBeachBallHaven't seen it. Don't care. Gonna listen. The Hunger Games podcasts were wonderful and entertaining. I should note that I haven't read the books or seen the films. That's how much I love these two podcasters. Can't wait for the Star Wars podcasts!
-
Karena_lvConsider...If you haven't already imagined Ron and Hermione getting freaky with polyjuice potion then you probably didn't know that you needed this podcast in your life.
-
all2185Great PodcastI am attempting this review for the third time in two days (iTunes keeps telling me that my review failed), which should tell you something about how much I want to say that I like this podcast. Here it goes: This is a great podcast. I'm suspicious that I would enjoy listening to these two talk about rocks. However, I am glad they stick to film franchises here, and television elsewhere, because they clearly know their material. They're smart, well-prepared, and funny. Moreover, I've enjoyed their picks, Harry Potter and the Hunger Games, and enjoyed hearing them talk about them. Great podcast. Worth the 'subscribe' click.

Bryonna LFun and smart!Feels just like talking about movies with your friends
-
ziongirlBest podcast EVER!Second only to broswatchplltoo, this podcast breaks ground and does justice to everyone's favorite film franchises. I've been an avid listener of Benji and Marco for awhile, and love how dynamic each personality is, and how easily they play off eachother. Instead of just complimenting the looks of the actors or spending an hour focusing on all the different ships, you can tell these two really care about the story these films are telling-which is so refreshing!! This podcast has a huge amount of potential for an even bigger audience and with all the new franchises constantly popping up, and the bros definitely deserve it :)
-
GlowCloud13They Say What We're All ThinkingThis podcast had me in the first episode when they called Ron a chode. You guys are hilarious, and insightful, and highly entertaining. I can (and have) listen to your podcast all day. It really helps move my work day along. Thank you for your very important contribution to society. I don't have a good sign off so I'll just say Expelliarmus!

Nwe17Hard Core Potterhead here…This is genuinely GREAT!These guys are hilarious on bros watch pll too. I usually cannot stand people talking about harry potter when they aren’t in on the fandom, but this podcast actually totally nails it. They are funny, very smart, and everything they say is on point. Its super interesting getting opinions from guys who didnt wait in line for every book at midnight and spend hours on theory forums back in the day. Like when they talk about how the second movie is waaaaayy too long, I was just thinking about how my 12 year old self back then would have sat through 5 more hours of that movie. It was all we had between books! They’re still totally right though… good stuff. Can’t wait for more
-
L1ghtsnackI would listen to these guys talk about anythingEven though I embarrass myself by literally laughing out loud at work and look crazy. I can't wait for new episodes
-
Deena KimMy Go ToThoughtful, educated opinions. I love these guys! I seriously overcheck my podcast app to see if they update early or surprise us with extra tidbits. They do a great job disecting films, so much so where I feel more educated about the film after it, all the while being entertained. If you love PLL then you have to listen to "Bros Watch PLL Too", unlike After Buzz, it's not full of "I'm confused" "I don't get it" and "Totally" (all said in a valley girl voice). These guys put EFFORT into their Podcast, and I survive my 30 minute work commute because of them!
-
stacymay3The bestThese guys are the best. I love their PLL podcast and now this one. They remind me why I love film and TV, and to watch it more critically. I always appreciate and enjoy their insight. I've been loving these Harry Potter episodes. I can't wait to hear their perspectives on Hunger Games and anything else they cover.

raquelcapocacciaMy original review made it seem like I had a crush on Benjamin Light...I just discovered podcasts are a real thing because I’m always five years behind everything but this one is seriously amazing. It’s thoughtful across the spectrum of metrics by which a film should be judged. The discussion ranges from source material adaptation to cinematography and lighting and scoring choices, to performance and character analysis. The format is great, it flows really well. Benjamin’s affection for Hermione and Book Ginny is one of the greatest things I’ve ever heard through the speakers of my car. With all of the references made between Benjamin and Marco, I’m fairly certain there isn’t a movie that either of them haven’t seen. And there’s a lot of cursing which is just fantastic for me. And Marco, read the rest of the books. Seriously.

Kacy AnnePleasantly SurprisedComing from the" Bros Watch PLL Too" podcast I knew I'd love the humor, voices, and style of this podcast. However coming in as a huge Harry Potter geek I was unsure how frustrated I'd feel listening to 2 people who aren't mega fans, but I was pleasantly surprised. It's light and refreshing and I can't wait for them to review more series!!!
-
HannyMarieBeeLove this, love Marco and BenjiI love the PLL podcast so when I found out the guys were going through each HP movie I couldn't wait. Very entertaining and continue to prove the books are always better! Can't wait to hear the rest of series. I'm sure whatever yall cover next will be great. Every time you talk about a non HP character in the future, I would love to hear what house yall think they belong in.
-
esblinusGreat ConceptYou had me at "Harry."
-
Supersteph618A Bright LightComing into this from their PLL podcast, I love their format. As a big Harry Potter fan I actually love Marcos "I have not read the books" viewpoint. Benjie and Marco are film/tv cinephiles and I love getting insights from them. They make driving 100% more bearable!!!!

Juanito CarnitasBetter than all the rest.Guys, I never knew why I thought the Goblet of Fire movie was bad until you explicated it. Brilliant yet unpretentious analysis. You should do some Jim Dale-style readings of book selections. My suggestion for voices: Shower Harvey for Luna and Kenneth DiLaurentis for Cornelius Fudge. My boyfriend and I love listening to all your podcasts. We're going to found a podcast club based on all your stuff (we're too millennial for a book club, lollerskates), so don't be surprised if you suddenly get a gay following in Madison, WI. Final thought: Marco, you're the next Morgan Freeman. We could listen to you read the Apple Terms of Service. (Love you too, Benjamin)
