Ever since I became a hockey and Ducks fan back in 2021, I have yet to miss an episode. They provide a great view of the game and even when I became a fan at the Duck’s worst (speaking of the 22/23 season), these two gave me anticipation for what the young guns on the team can become. Keep up the great work!

There are hockey pods where the hosts talk about the games, players, and staff. Then there are hockey pods where they do those things, but also teach you about the game. As a lifelong Ducks fan who never really played much hockey growing up, I have become a much more educated fan of both the Ducks organization and hockey in general. I actually look forward to my commute when there’s a new CTP! Keep it up, gents.

Jake and Felix view the game of hockey we all love with modern and collected approach, using analytics and stats beyond your grandpappy’s “+ and -“ and points total that can’t be seen through the eyes alone. The guys foster a friendly environment in the discord welcoming all where you can find conversations about anything and everything. Keep up the good work.

If you are looking for a podcast and community for Ducks fans, this is the place. If you are looking for people with taste buds and good food takes, this is not the place.

I’ve been listening to these guys since 2018 and I absolutely love them. I had an extremely painful knee replacement surgery and I couldn’t actually even watch the games. They still did a podcast then after almost every game and they literally saved my ducks for me. I still listen to every podcast every week, I wish there was more, and still love them. I used to follow them as Spencer Woods on Twitter but was permanently suspended and then as bellspen, also permanently suspended, so now I only have the podcasts I love.

These two know less about hockey than my mother. I can’t listen to their nonsense anymore. Unsubscribe!

5 stars for this Ducks podcast. Jake and Felix have created an incredible community for Ducks fans to enjoy their favorite team. From the podcast, to the discord chat, to their engagement with listeners and even meet ups at the games, it’s a perfect balance of what I’ve wanted as a fan for a long time. The blend of biased/unbiased opinions backed by the numbers and knowledge of hockey gives listeners a real feel what’s happening on and off the ice. If the Ducks wanted to improve their streaming app (which is already good), they’d invest in these guys as one of their channels. Keep up the good work!

I’ve been listening to Jake and Felix now for a couple years and definitely feel they’re the best Anaheim Ducks podcast. It does go off the rails often but in a ridiculously funny kind of way, note the title of the review. I do like the in depth stats as well though and their knowledge. I live in Huntington Beach… is that North or South County??

I’m not fully convinced either of the guys know very much about hockey but something keeps me coming back every week. Things go off the rails quite frequently, one host hates eggs, the other hates Swedish hockey players. Idk, 5/5 I’ll listen again. And I won’t know why.

I would just like to say, this Podcast is great. I have been a ducks fan ever since the Mighty Ducks movies came out, but over the past couple years with the pandemic, lack of connecting with friends, lack of going to games, lack of excitement in the ducks performance….it’s been hard to be involved in the Ducks fan experience. This podcast has really helped me reconnect with the Ducks. I am excited what the future brings to the Ducks organization and the fun and informative takeaways that Felix and Jake bring to the table.

What’s next Jake, eating a burger with a fork and knife? Good podcast, great analysis, entertaining hosts, join the discord it’s a lot of fun.

Felix and Jake (and sometimes CJ) talk all things ducks along with some news from around the league. Sometimes even using analytics to prove that Grant is an elite number one center and that Kodie Curran is the perfect power play quarterback with that big-booming shot from the blue line. Sincerely, I really do look forward to every podcast every week. Thank you guys so much for this show.

I listen weekly while at work, and it’s a great show to keep up with ducks news and corresponding analysis. The boys always have some good takes with fleshed out points of view. The show makes it easy for me to keep up with any ducks news I may have missed or discussion of topics I am excited about. Especially Felix’s bad food takes. This podcast is great Jake and Felix have Big Boomin’ Takes that hit as hard as Andy Welinskis one timer. The sound quality is as smooth as the 25th anniversary jersey. If you’re into faceoffs and some Bob Murray love this is the podcast for you. Jake is the Derek Grant to Felix’s Sam Steel. Over here at CTP we don’t encourage small skilled players, we like to win face offs and grind games out with big kids. All jokes aside, great podcast for all things ducks related! I was a casual hockey fan for a long time until about 3 seasons ago and listening to this podcast has helped me learn a lot about hockey. I’m not usually an analytics type guy but I like hearing how Jake, Felix, and CJ break down the analytics. I would highly recommend this podcast to any Ducks fan.

Five stars to pump the tires on the best Ducks podcast I can find. If you’re a fan of hard nosed, old time hockey and you feel like analytics are taking over the game, it’s good to get outside your echo chamber and listen to dudes talk about chance generation instead of hits. That being said, these cats put way too much emphasis on shot generation while ignoring the fact that Nicky D led the league in fights last year.

Felix & Jake have so much swerved out YOLO swag and they’ve got the illest takes in the hockey podcasting universe. CTP is better than Teemu Selanne, JS Giguere, and Ryan Getzlaf combined. If you ever have the burning desire to have an eardrum orgasm, listen to these two dope bros dish on Anaheim’s finest. If only we can get the two boys to replace Ahlers and Hayward.

Disappointing that this podcast, which has tried to infuse sports analytics, had jumped on the political bandwagon that is responsible for the unjustified narrative of bogus police brutality. Minimal bad apples don’t justify the blanket condemnation of law enforcement. The facts belie your narrative. So much for analytics. How about we stick to sports here and get back to the game of hockey.

Hi all, As the title suggests, I live 2,700 miles away from Anaheim. I moved to Philadelphia for school right before the 2019-2020 hockey season began. Last year I attended 37 home games and this year, I’ve definitely been missing the community with the people that say around me. I stumbled upon the Anaheim Calling podcast and it really is a great listen. For one, whether or not you agree on a weekly basis, the conversations are insightful and enjoyable. Additionally, the podcasts help me feel connected with the Ducks, and I am very grateful for that. I just subscribed to the patreon site, and am excited to support the show and listen in the future. I’m a huge ducks fan and I love consuming as much media about them as possible. Came across this podcast at the start of this season and I am hooked. Their podcasts help me relive games in my mind the day after watching, and their analysis and takes are really great. My only issues are jakes opinions on Grant and Silfverberg (keep them forever) and the absolute travesty that Felix has not eaten apple pie. The live-streams they put on are a great way to get involved and get topics talked about. I’m now a subscriber on twitch and a patron for bonus episodes, and I am excited for the future of this podcast. All the best from San Luis Obispo!

Felix and Jake do an amazing job at combining entertainment with advanced NHL metrics analysis. They’ve made this season following the Ducks so much more fun. Highly recommend!

I’m a new fan to hockey, looking around to take in as much info as I can and this podcast is made very well. Organized, well paced, and great chemistry between the hosts.

I’m a Ducks fan living in Maryland. There aren’t many fans here who remember when The Baltimore Bandits were the AHL affiliate of the Ducks and there are probably even fewer who care. It’s nice to feel a sense of community with the Ducks fan base while living here in Caps country. I appreciate the analytical approach and the guys’ willingness to compare and contrast this approach with the eye test when discussing more subjective aspects of hockey. I also agree that French fries TEND not to be good.

5 stars but CJ is unlistenable....

As a fan of hockey living in California it’s not so easy to find someone who likes hockey. Nobody to talk to about each Ducks games and it’s an empty feeling knowing I can’t enjoy the Ducks with somebody when they win or rant to somebody when they lose. BUT listening to Anaheim Calling fills that empty space! I love how they discuss all Ducks hockey, go into deep analysis after each game, and interact with listeners on Twitch. Very fun to listen to! Very happy to know there’s a place I can finally go to!

So I grew up following the ducks as a kid when Disney owned them. I was interested in following them again but didn’t know where to because I don’t live in California. I stumbled on Anaheim calling. They are great and fun and super informative they know why more about hockey then I ever could. But they make it accessible and easy to listen to.

Love what you guys are doing. Really appreciate the work you put into this.
