The corporate media unfortunately creates our reality and as such, our conducts are determined in the world we live in, as well as our sense of direction and our values. In other words, our reality has been slowly and steadily influenced with one goal in mind, to monopolize the narrative so they can magnify, normalize, dehumanize, and conceal. Now, “How do we (the general mass) navigate?”. By disengaging, filtering and scouting other alternative sources like your show. Thank you for such an interesting episode!

Russiagate split the entire left in the US down the middle. So we had two factions, one that was anti-establishment, critical of the mainstream media, and saw little hope in the democrat party. The other faction aligned more with the corporate liberal media and the DNC. Then covid comes along and splits the anti-establishment faction again, with each side repeating the pattern from Russiagate. Sadly, leftist media that opposed the ruling power structure after Russiagate lost more giants from its ranks after covid propaganda infected their brains. Abby was our most devastating loss from this battle. Her brilliant past work will live on forever and i’m sure a new generation will become inspired by her example. It’s always hard losing a comrade, and I wish Abby and her family all the best in their future, but I know that will ultimately be a different direction than before.

Long time listener and fan. Great podcast for US military imperialism. Highly recommend if you are interested in that area and want to learn more. However, their most recent episode about Ethiopia was a joke. How can two people with no contextual knowledge drop into a country for a few weeks. Then come out as experts who think they can speak on behalf of millions Ethiopians. Why not have an Oromo or Amhara activist on the show. They couldn’t even get into Tigray because of the government blockade. They could of brought on someone from Tigray. America does a lot of horrible things in the world but some things are a bit more complicated than America’s Former Friend = Bad. I expected better from this show. We as leftist must learn to think critically or we will fall prey to this nonsense over and over again.

I was made aware of Abby Martin, im sure like many others, by her podcasts with Joe Rogan. Shes out there on the frontlines of many issues being manipulated and hidden by the major media corporations. I highly recommend anything Abby does.

The single most important podcast/Youtube channel that is 100% grassroots and researched heavily. Abby Martin lays out the information in a way anyone could understand and encourages listeners to dive into it on their own time as well.
