Looking for some new Nintendo podcasts in the wake of the Switch 2 announcement and sampled this one. It might be ok if you want to mix your Nintendo news with a healthy dose of Trump derangement and protest updates. But even then one of the hosts doesn’t even know the difference between competition between Amazon and other retailers vs Nintendo retail partnerships. I give this podcast a hard pass.

Entertaining but stopped listening when promoted spoolers for old games. Rating 5 for all their effort.

This is a really fun podcast to listen to. You get three different opinions on Nintendo news, games, and rumors. Sometimes there is an agreement but often this leads to good discussions on differences in opinions. All three hosts are very chill and likeable. Often you get into their history growing up with different Nintendo games and find yourself able to relate or understand their viewpoints. The podcast format is well done and opens up for actual listener submitted questions being answered and discussed at the end of the episode. I look forward to there discussions every week.

I love Nintendo, I make a point to find good quality podcast and when I found TNS I subbed!! It's easy to put it on and just listen to friends I've not met yet about all things Nintendo.

Have listened to a few so far and the discussion is great! They really hit it home on the topics they cover.

I was about to subscribe but after last episode lack of knowledge and dismissal on the new additions to the NES and SNES switch online I decided the podcast is not for me, 3 of those games are pretty good and is a shame you guys won’t even give a chance, I’m not giving a low rating cause other conversations were good enough.

I’m a new listener of Nintendo Shack. I’ve only listened to 2 episodes to this point. However, I’ve been regularly listening to Nintendo focused podcasts for over 10 years. I currently have around 15 shows in my playlists. I was surprised I’ve never heard of this show until recently. After 2 episodes it has become one of my favorites. The hosts seem to really enjoy what they’re doing. Their love of Nintendo games shines through in their discussions. There is a good chemistry between them and nobody is trying to talk over anyone else. Each host has their turn and from what I’ve heard they really support each other. Many podcasts include hosts who want to talk the most, are critical of opposing opinions, enjoy being snarky describing games to try for a laugh, or are just plain irritating. Although I am new to this podcast, I haven’t experienced any of that here. What you get are friends talking about what they are playing and why they enjoy it. This podcast is definitely worth a listen if you’re looking for a podcast about Nintendo games. JasonLee

I’ve been a subscriber for sometime now and have loved “watching” this show grow along with the hosts, Donnie and Caro. Their commentary is genuine and their opinions are diverse. I respect what they have to say and appreciate their passion for Nintendo. And the way Donnie and Caro work together is amazing, even when they disagree with each other; I especially appreciate Caro’s perspective since it is rare we get a woman’s point of view on a Nintendo Podcast. Thank you Donnie and Caro for all the work you put into the show, week in and week out.

If you want an excellent well informed show about all things Nintendo (and then some) then look no further. Donnie and Caro have excellent chemistry that makes this cast fun and easy to listen too. Audio and visual production is really good as well so no worries there. I have been listening to the Nintendo Shack podcast for a while now and I highly recommend it. They cover a lot of information while being entertaining and fun to listen to. The show is definitely better when Jason is actually there. Not as good as the main PSVG show but is easily one of my favs.

The Nintendo Shack can be witty, wacky and sometime straight off the rails..... those are all great things. Caroline, Donnie and Jason have great chemistry and never hold back on their love for Nintendo. This is a must listen for Nintendo fans and even the casual gamer.
