Thank you for ā€œriding the wavesā€ episode
Taralyn - your descriptions and explanations were beautiful and real. As I’m going through some difficult waves presently, this really hit home for me. I appreciate your work, ladies. Warmly, Rachel

    My favorite
I love, love, love the Find the Magic podcast. I started listening 6 years ago when my youngest was a baby and never stopped. This podcast has helped me through so much in my parenting journey. I remember listening in the morning before work as a PE teacher setting up equipment, and now as a stay at home mom to 3. I feel like the girls are my friends and love how connected I feel to them. I know their individual voices and gain so much from each new episode. Thank you for this amazing resource. I love growing with you amazing women.

    Refreshing
I’ve been listening to this podcast for a couple of years now. I love the refreshing and always thoughtful, sometimes against the grain parenting perspectives they discuss. Im not great with words so I’ll just say this podcast is definitely worth the listen if you want to gain valuable perspectives into mindful parenting and raising a family!!!!

Can I be friends with them?
I LOVE this podcast. As a mom, and a former therapist—they speak to my heart from such a real, empowering and practical perspective. I glean so many tips and tidbits from what they share and appreciate their honesty and ability to respect different points of views on topics. They truly do their research and have conversations that make me think, laugh and secretly want to be friends with them!

Updated review; I have listened to this podcast for years, it is hands down my favorite podcast! It is insightful, fun and full of great ideas. I feel like I have made a friend in Felica. I appreciate the realness from these ladies and within Find The Magic. Thank you for being a breath of fresh air! First review; I’m loving this podcast! I’m very into meditating and mindset this has been just what I’m looking for as a mama of 2 little boys! Can someone tell me how to find Felicia on Instagram? I would love to follow her.

    Unicorns are real
I have loved and listened to ā€œFind the Magicā€ for years of motherhood. So many of those years I would listen to Taralyn or Felicia talk about reframing and even enjoying the mundane tasks (like changing diapers) and to dos that normally are mindless. They talked about enjoying these things, creating connection in them. Every week I tuned in but honestly, I didn’t believe it. I said things like, ā€œI can’t be that mom, that isn’t working for MY children, these women are just UNICORNS. And every episode I would still plug in my headphones and listen along and wish I could get there, be that mom. Then something switched, last year I went on (my first ever) solo retreat to South America. It was a women’s empowerment, yoga, surf trip but a switch flipped and I started doing the work on myself. I continued taking steps like FINALLY starting a miracle morning routine (for me!) and guess what? Things started clicking with my kids, and at home. So if you are able, start with yourself. I was convinced that to be a good mom I had to read all the parenting books, listen to all the podcasts, plan all the activities but that is so far from reality. Start with your Self! So grateful to Find The Magic, To Taralyn, Felicia and Katelin… Thank you!

    Good for dads too!
As a father of two grown children and now taking care of my 16 year old nephew along with my wife, I still find lots of great tips and inspiration from these three amazing humans. I love the ā€œhigh 5ā€ and ā€œfacepalmā€ stories and the podcast is a soothing way to start a day or listen to in the drive home after a busy day at work. I wish I had something like this when my kids were younger as I think back to some situations I could have handled better. Thank you Find the Magic for all the times you made me smile, laugh, think and grow as a parent.

    My new best friends.
I am a busy mom of 4 (7 yo and under) and Find the Magic is something that I do for myself. I connect with these women SO well and they make me feel like I’m doing the best job, even when I feel like I’m not. Thank you ladies for being here for us mothers. ā™„ļø

Always bringing magic to my life!
I have listened to Find the Magic podcast for a while now. Sometimes I go through phases where I don’t listen to podcasts, but then I always come back to this one. Today I listened to a few episodes, the one that stood out to me was the mini episode on defiant behavior. Right now my daughter is going through a hard time emotionally, public school is not serving her well. The tips helped me and reminded me that when she is having difficult moments, they can mostly all lead back to her struggling in school (hopefully going to homeschool next year to help her get back to a good mental state). But anyways, I am wondering what I can do to help her when she gets in the car after school everyday and is having a really terrible time. How can I respond to her when the root cause of the problems doesn’t seem like something I can fix right now? Would love your alls input on this, as I know she is struggling and I really am desperate to help her. Thanks ā¤ļø

    real and refreshing
I’ve enjoyed this podcast since 2019 and it helped me get through several hard moments. The mini magics are always awesome. All 3 hosts are so great and share how we can care of ourselves so we can better take care of others. Each are at different points in life and motherhood so there’s something for everyone. There are so many episodes that I re-listen to when I need the reminders! Great for any woman, young or old, new mom or veteran. Thank you!

    normalizing motherhood
I have been listening to you ladies for some time, but todays episode was so spot on that I found myself crying. Felicia talked about ā€œseeing our kidsā€ in defiant behavior, and as she did, I actually felt so seen myself (after a very difficult day with my own 3 kiddos). Thank you for normalizing this difficult and hilarious thing called motherhood. I have found SO much inspiration, wisdom, practical help, and pure relief in your conversations. I am so grateful for finding your show. ✨

    Life changers
I just want to take the time to thank you for being such a positive change in my life. I started listening to you guys while I was in nursing school back in 2020. Your very first podcast on morning routines changed my life forever. I then purchased ā€œMiracle Morningā€ and have lived by this since then. I wake up every morning, oil pull, set my diffusers, do yoga, sip on tea, and if I have time run with my dog (I even make sure to do this on my work days). Being a busy mom of 2 kids ages 7 and 4 that I partially homeschool (they’re also in a homeschool co op), wife, and a nurse, I can’t thank you ladies enough. Your podcasts help center myself as a parent. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day to day busy lifestyle, and when I do find that happening, I pop my ear buds in and go on a run and listen to you ladies. I tell every single mom about your podcast. You have made such a positive change for my family. I truly can’t even begin to tell you how much gratitude I have for your show. Thank you, Cherise
  • Annie.gleason
    Thank you
This podcast is so much more than another parenting podcast. I am rewriting and unearthing so much about myself and the world around me in these episodes. I am better for it, and therefore, so are my kids. Thank you so much for this work you are doing ✨

Like getting advice from a friend ā™„ļø
I love tuning into Find the Magic when I just need a bit of recentering. Each episode leaves me feeling ready to take on womanhood/motherhood/personhood knowing I’m not alone in my fears and shortcomings. I get to lean into them and come out maybe a bit wiser.

    Most helpful podcast
I listen to a lot of parenting podcasts, this one is my favorite! So many topics covered and ideas discussed. I always seem to get so much out of listening. Thank you!

    Love!
I love listening to your podcast as I’m going about my day. I relate a lot to you guys and it’s so nice to 1. Know I’m not the only person going through something and 2. Getting advice on how to do it. You’re down to earth and have great advice. Love you guys! Keep it up!

Favorite podcast- has guided and inspired me!
Where do I even begin? This is hands down my favorite podcast ever. I found it in the Spring of 2019 when I was pregnant with my now 3yo son, and I don’t think I’ve missed a single episode! I immediately related to Felicia and Taralyn and my heart felt aligned with the ideas shared about honoring and respecting ourselves, children, and partners. They introduced me to respectful parenting and some of the books that have shaped the way I care for myself and my family. I loved when Katie came along too, because her son and mine are close in age and I feel like I can relate to her so much. I can’t tell you the number of times an episode has touched the exact topic on my mind that week, and how they have inspired me to mindfully walk along this parenting journey. I have learned so much, am so grateful to have found this podcast, and truly admire you three so much! Thank you for it!

A parenting podcast for all the ages
I have been listening to Find The Magic for a long time now and appreciate that they provide info that spans from mom of newborns to parents of teens. They have kids in all the stages (similar to me) and also connect to women in general (they don’t only talking about things related to being a mom). They share parenting tips and info on many great books, but also lots of information about meditation, miracle morning and taking time for ourselves amidst the chaos of parenthood. I can’t recommend this podcast enough!

    A Must for Moms
This Podcast has been such a blessing for me. It talks about all the important things that we face with a foundation in motherhood. They provide inspiring and realistic goals and changes. It sheds light on ways to gently move myself into the woman and mother I aspire to be. It really limits my feelings of inadequacy and provides clear wisdom that is beyond what I could find on my own. They have also helped me see the cycles of trauma that I have faced growing up and how to break through that to provide a better life for my children. Truly a must listen. Sharing what they learn has helped me grow and I have loved and been moved by every single episode I’ve listened to!

    The highlight of my weekšŸ™šŸ»
Updating my review since I have been listening now for a couple of years. Honestly, this podcast is a game changer and life changer for me, and truly a highlight of my week. I eagerly go onto my podcast app each week to refresh and pray for a new episode to be ready on my Tuesday morning walk. This podcast has helped me through so many challenges in parenting and in life, and I feel like I have been growing right alongside you incredible women for the last couple of years. I appreciate your authenticity and being real with us, approaching each new episode and book with such an openness and sense of curiosity and your clear passion for sharing the tools you discover with us. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing what you do - now please don’t stop because I’m about to have child number 2 and I need y’all!! šŸ˜šŸ˜˜

    Absolute favorite
This is the only podcast that I cannot wait for the new release each week. There’s so much to contemplate in each episode. Yet at the same time its easy enough to digest that, even when my mom brain is at an all time high, I finish each episode inspired. Thank you šŸ’›

    LOVE!
As a first time mama I am loving this podcast. For future seasons I will be going through as well as the one I am in, they have such good suggestions and perspectives on parenting. I love this podcast so much and I’m only in the first ten episodes. I cannot wait to continue listening!

    Stumbled upon this podcast
I'm normally not a Podcast person, but I found this one and love it! I have two young girls; 9mo & 3yr and I enjoy listening to this while on walks around the neighborhood. Episode 195 finally got me to leave a review! It hits home, the tips are so meaningful and refreshing. Often times we hear what we should be doing without any encouragement for what we are actually doing. I found the lack of "do it like this" completely wonderful and tips for just dealing with my emotions or changing my mindset is what I needed. I'm in my late 30s and luckily listen to my own instincts. Just great to have the support thrown out there for doing just that! Thank you!

    Sound quality is very poor
I love this podcast and the subjects discussed. My only issue is the sound quality. Typically you can hear only one person loud and clear enough, but not always. And then usually the other girls sound like there off in the background and not as clear. I will have to turn my volume all the way to listen, or adjust for each person because it’s so different for each person when they speak. It’s especially hard when Im in my car going about my day because the audio is so soft and there is so much feedback in the background. I don’t know if some need to project their voices a little more, but I think sound quality really needs to be considered.

    Wow!
I’m only one episode in and I have to leave a review. This podcast is the magic! It is the magic that I found! I am so impressed by the concept from the episode about acceptance, joy and enthusiasm. I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it and I really feel enriched and fulfilled by these concepts! I’m excited to try these ideas out the next time I wash dishes. Haha. Thank you ladies for your enthusiasm and passion in the process of providing this content for us! :) Such an undertaking is supposedly what life is all about. :)

    The best
I don’t have much to say other than that I love this podcast and recommend it to everyone and can’t even believe I haven’t taken the time to write a review before! Every episode leaves me feeling refreshed & ready to take on another day of motherhood - rather than feeling guilty for all of the ways I’m failing like some other parenting resources can make me feel. FTM has been with me through my best seasons of motherhood, and my hardest. I always always come back for more & I hope y’all never stop! Thank you so much for all of the heart, wisdom, and encouragement you share here. I’m a better mama & a better ME because of you!

This podcast is my happy place
I am SO grateful for the time and effort that goes into this podcast. Every episode is packed with gold. There is so much education and real conversations about life and motherhood. It helps to calm my soul, reassure me, motivate me and so much more. THANK YOU!

    Every parent should listen!
I love this podcast and I appreciate the hard work that goes into every episode. I just can’t imagine life as a parent without any guidance, and I feel like the hosts are my weekly guides. I’m blown away with how many valuable resources I find in each episode. As mentioned in the intro, they literally do all of the hard research on parenting and distill the information through the podcast. I’m a mother of a 4 and 6 year old and I wouldn’t feel as confident and grounded in my motherhood journey if it wasn’t for the resources provided by you ladies. I love this podcast so much I often find myself craving a second episode each week. Thank you, Xoxo

    Really beneficial to my motherhood
I’ve been enjoying this podcast so far! I was a little confused when I started listening because they talked about the magic morning and how there was another episode that expounded even MORE on the magic morning and I was like wait… is this podcast only on how to wake up early? Turns out they have beautiful tips and insights about motherhood that I really appreciate. On top of that, I implemented a lot of tips from the magic morning on waking up early and I’ve really enjoyed doing that so far! I’d recommend this podcast to any mother who just wants to do the best they can.
  • jackiede5
    Awesome
This is my go to podcast especially when I’m having a hard time with life of being a mom and wife. I can listen to this podcast and feel accepted for who I am, yet inspired to change in a loving and patient way. Thank you! My only pet peeve is hearing the word ā€œlikeā€ multiple times in a sentence haha

Who knew a podcast could be so life changing?
After my first baby I suffered from crippling postpartum depression and anxiety. I went to a maternal mental health clinic and my therapist recommend this podcast to me. I have been listening ever since. Two years later I still look forward to every episode and I am now months into my morning practice. This podcast has helped given me tools to love my life, feel joy in the present moment, and deepen all my most important relationships. I’m so grateful for these women and their perspective and knowledge. I feel like they are my friends and they truly have inspired me to make life altering changes that are helping me find the magic in my every day :)

    I’m listening from the start
I started at episode 1. Thank you so much for the info!! This is a BEAUTIFUL podcast. The unconditional love episodes are pure Gold. Update. I’ve tried other podcasts. I always come back here. This is the best. I’m on the family attachments episode. These ladies are enlightened the way I want to be enlightened. Update: Spring renewal! This episode was just what I needed!! I have given up social media and I am doing some spring planning! Still here, still listening and learning from these ladies. Still the podcast I keep going back to. I absolutely recommend this podcast to EVERY mother out there. Something here for everyone regardless of your religion or spiritual beliefs. No political side notes. Just MAMAS looking for joy and peace and love and all of the good things we are all trying to find. This is THE PODCAST.

    Finally friends
Motherhood can feel really lonely sometimes. Don’t get me wrong, I love and appreciate my real life friends. But this podcast makes me feel like I am not alone. I finally have ā€œfriendsā€ that feel the same way about motherhood, goals and different aspect of my life. I feel like I can have conversations with these gals for hours because I feel like they get it. They feel how I feel. I look forward to this podcast so I can see what my friends are thinking lately.

finding a little bit of magic everyday!
Find the Magic podcast has been such a light in my life since becoming a mother. It is my go-to podcast for respectful parenting tips and more importantly SELF CARE. Their voices are so soothing, they have so many life changing book recommendations, and they inspire me to be the best mother and person I can be!

    I feel supported.
I feel SO grateful and thankful to have stumbled on this podcast, well over a year ago now. I look forward to the ladies’ new episodes just as much as my morning cup of coffee. Motherhood to my three little ones has brought a lot of joy and also a lot of loneliness. Finding this podcast and tuning in each week has helped me feel less alone. I like to take the kids to the park and walk. I especially enjoy the vulnerability and honesty they share! Oh and the book reviews! All three of them have very soothing voices to listen to which brings a calm vibe as well. Thank you for all that you ladies do. It is very appreciated and has helped me so much! *tearing up - Hugs!

    What my mama soul needed
I found this podcast a few months ago and I have been binging it ever since! I was definitely in a funk ever since having my first baby in 2020 and listening to this podcast has truly helped me so much. I listen on walks or at the gym or whenever I can sneak in a moment to myself. They have great tips and advice and every time I listen, I learn something new that helps me be better to myself and to my daughter. Listening to the mamas talk feels like a therapy session with my best friends. I recommend this podcast to all of my mom friends! Thank you guys for helping me find the magic.

    a true gem ✨
I have been listening to this podcast for over a year now, after being recommended by a dear friend. To say I’ve become obsessed would be a gross understatement. I went through every episode from the very beginning and listened religiously anytime I was in the car, on a walk or doing housework. The wisdom, simplicity & genuine connection I feel from these mamas and their souls essence, shines through their voices. This podcast is one of one that I will recommend to everyone walking this journey of motherhood. A question I have for you all; my son will be 2 next month and we’ve recently hit a phase of resistance. I’m trying to navigate avoiding control & force but still holding a boundary. This seems to be a balance I’m struggling with. For example, diaper changes. I will let him know I need to change his diaper and either give him a time window or sit down wherever he is and wait for him to willingly come to me. However, it usually reaches a point where I have to pick him up kicking and screaming and pin him down. The boundary is obviously that i have to change his diaper but how do I approach it in a way that doesn’t feel like I’m manipulating/forcing his body against his will. Another example is putting him down for a nap in his crib. We have a whole routine we work through and then when I say it’s time to lay down he runs and hides, and the only thing I can do is pick him up kicking and screaming and lay him down. Any suggestions on how to navigate this balance of avoiding force/control but also holding a boundary would be so appreciated. Thankyou! šŸ’—

    Life changing
My last review submitted before I finished (my almost 3 year old bumped into me) haha… like I was saying having a baby is one thing but raising that baby, your child(ren) can be exhausting and confusing at times. Am I doing this right, should I do this? Etc. etc. This podcast helps shed light on parenting and literally gives the best advice. The title ā€œFinding the magicā€ could not be more spot on. I find myself being able to be more connected to my children & husband sometimes when I just feel lost. It helps me understand and see more clearly into our relationships. The more I listen the more I love. Thank you so much for all you guys do. You rock!

    Thoughtful, Researched, Inspiring
I love the ladies of Find the Magic so very much. Their approach to researching and exploring various ways of parenting is refreshing and aligned to all my values. They often cause me to pause, think, and become inspired to parent with more intuition and freedom. I wish I was friends with these women in real life - thank you for your podcasts!!
