I don’t even like baseball and I’ve been listening to this podcast for years.
10/10 best baseball pod on the market

    It’s a pepper in a pickle!
Hence the phrase: caught in a pickle. I honestly thought you were trying to reference Pickle, but I was wrong, I will take the fine! (We would play Pickle while tail-gating before going into every game at County Stadium.) Also please also note that it is 1 RBI and then 2 RBI’s etc…. The apostrophe indicating that the s may be assigned to any letter in the abbreviation. (&, yes, This was just meant to just get your goat!) ;) I think it’s Le Batard that goes on an absolute rant about this RBI thing, in a short ad for his program…. It’s pretty funny. HR’s are tatters and RBI’s are pickles.

There should be a constitutional amendment banning 2-in-1’s
This is an entertaining and light podcast that does some deep dives into baseball stories. I’ve learned quite a bit but I’ve been reminded of players, teams, and incidents that I hadn’t thought about in 30 years. Wax Pack Heroes somehow never gets old either. Keep up the good work!

    Great show, fun and informative!
This show is really fun, the hosts keep the show very positive and it is refreshing! Lots of good facts and stories from all aspects of baseball and wax pack heroes always brings up some forgotten and obscure 80s-90s names. Keep up the great work!

    Everything I Love About Baseball
I’m on something of a time out with my MLB team and MLB in general - stories for another day - but I still love the game, so I was looking for a podcast on baseball history, and here it is. Jeff and Mark have in-depth knowledge of the current game, an appreciation for old-timey baseball, and cover all points between. Plenty of stats here, served up with the stories that make baseball great - you don’t have to be a SABR supergeek (said with appreciation) to enjoy this, but if you are, you will too! And something in every episode makes me laugh out loud. Do you want to learn about the game you love? Do you want to smile about baseball? This is the one.

    Love These Guys!
How can you not love these guys? Two ordinary Joe’s who work in the baseball world and love all things baseball. They share oddball feats, fun statistical nuggets, play games with wax packs, and even allow listeners to take them to Kangaroo Kourt on occasion.

    Love this show
I learn something new every time I listen. Press “Play” for cool tidbits of baseball history, then stay for the always-fun Wax Pack Heroes!

    Thanks for the knowledge!

    Love the Podcast Guys
Thought I’d mention that your last two pod cast episodes kinda struck home. I’m from the South Bend area and was a huge South Bend White Sox fan back in the day. Unfortunately they are now the SB Cubs so not such a big fan now. And yes I do bite my tongue when Hawk and Harold are mentioned on your show...but I can forgive. You’ve brought up the South Bend Silver Hawks logo/mascot (Swoop). Funny fact I work with the original Swoop and current weekend Swoop at UPS. Told him about your pod cast and he got a kick out of being almost famous. Keep up the great work.

    Love the podcast!
This podcast is kinda like hanging out with a couple buddies at a bar talking baseball before heading across the street to the ballpark for a game ... it’s just a lot of fun!

    My second favorite podcast!

    Baseball History Coming Alive
As a fellow baseball podcaster I love hearing these two guys talk baseball history. They clearly do their research or just plainly know too much about baseball. Not sure which, lol. Anyways, highly recommend these guys. - Ben, Host of Diamonds and Roses podcast.

    Baseball history
This is a great way to learn so much about baseball history. I’ve really enjoyed all the podcasts so far. Being older, I remember a lot about the things you guys talk about. It’s been really fun!

    Great stories/facts
If you love baseball, you'd be doing yourself a disservice by not listening to Mark and Paul's "weekly dose of baseball nonsense"! You can tell these guys know their stuff. Want to know what father/son combos Nolan Ryan struck out? Thats just the tip of the iceberg. Speaking of icebergs, the Titanic sunk the same week of Fenway's grand opening. Anyways, if you love baseball you'll love Two Strike Noise!

    Love this show
So I'm not a baseball fan but I am a history nerd and this podcast is right up my alley. Rather than covering current happenings in baseball, Jeff and Mark delve into the offbeat and obsucre from baseball's history. Want to know more about Mark Fidrych or Rube Foster? These are the guys. Deep research and great interplay, plus the theme for Second Best is guaranteed to be stuck in your head. Give this a listen, you won't be disappointed!

These guys are the absolute best! Can’t believe I’ve lived a “happy” life before this!
