mtgjunkieJust fabulousI got my basic training for EMDR and was looking for resources and stumbled on this podcast. I have learned so much listening to this podcast and it’s a great resource. Check out episode 43, for me it was a great intro to the podcast
-
StinersmithLike attending consultation in every episodeThis podcast has been instrumental in my growth and confidence since being trained in EMDR. Thank you for being so generous with what you have learned through your own EMDR therapist journey.
-
Kc72003Excellent informationThe information shared in this podcast is so thought provoking and helpful. Thank you for your generosity and professionalism.

asprotberrySuch a good find!I am an EMDR therapist and I’m always looking for resources to share with others as well as to help me stay on top of my EMDR game. Notice That is just that! It doesn’t feel stuffy or boring and keeps me engaged the entire episode! Highly recommend if you are wanting to learn about EMDR!
-
happy today and tomorrowEngagingI have recently been trained in EMDR and this podcast fleshes out the material so well. Their voices are engaging and kind and it’s a delight to listen to on my commute. Thank you!

Moonflower320My favorite therapy-based podcast!I’ve been listening to Notice That for a couple years now. I’ve listened to many of the episodes multiple times and each time I learn something new. I’ve loved their conversations so much and they’ve really helped me grow in my skills as an EMDR clinician. They share information in a way that’s easy to understand and apply. But most of all they’re enjoyable to listen to because they bring themselves into the recording. They’re funny, engaging, and authentic in their conversation and relationships with one another. I highly recommend this podcast for anyone interested in EMDR.
-
Tay090ExcellentWould love an episode on how to address TBIs— both suspected and confirmed in past as well as if a concussion happens between sessions.
-
miss.bearAwesome content, causes sensory issues for meI’m an ND clinician with a special interest in emdr and trauma work. I LOVE the content in this podcast but with one of the hosts there is a great deal of hissing and whistling when they speak that activates my fight or flight. I have to find transcripts because truly the information is so good.
-
JJstaremdrLove this podcastI listen to some of these episodes on repeat! My colleagues and I share episodes and discuss in small groups. I appreciate the experiential format and attention to new interventions. Practicing EMDR has become a lot more fun and allowed for much deeper fluent connection! The A-Z interweaves episode said it well- Next Level EMDR! Thanks
-
taterpac partyLearning togetherI’ve been listening to this podcast for the last couple years and thoroughly enjoy how I am continuing to learn and grow my therapy/EMDR skills, I feel as though I’m learning along with others and they always have top notch guests to support continued growth thanks

K WhiteleyInterweaves with Dr MorriseyThis podcast was exactly what I’ve needed to make more sense and feel more confident with my intuition around interweaves. It’s so true that the rigid protocol has made me second guess my intuition and I felt so much permission in this podcast. I am eager to get Dr Morrisey’s book!
-
KambianceListen to this podcast, you won’t regret itI am newer to the EMDR community (I was trained last year). This podcast and Beyond Healing has played an instrumental part in my becoming confident as an EMDR therapist. I have learned so many things from this community and from this podcast. I highly suggest listening, it is absolutely wonderful!
-
Danniey girlOMG! So helpfulThank you so very much for this podcast. Since beginning my journey I’ve learned so much!
-
love a lyftA - Z Interweaves episodeThe latest episode of the Notice That podcast, A -Z Interweaves with Dr. Michelle Morrissey, was pure magic for me. I listened at the gym in the morning then implemented some of the ideas later that same day with success. Best episode ever!!
-
Good CourageLove this podcast and A-Z interweaves was so helpful!Jen, Bridger, and Melissa always have such a helpful perspective on EMDR and case conceptualization! I always get something out of this podcast. Love the episode about interweaves as it opened up a whole new world for me!
-
MarissaLynne92Super helpfulThis podcast has been such a great resource as a new EMDR therapist. I really appreciate the topics covered and the thorough discussion and exploration with guests. The A-Z Interweaves episode was so informative and I can’t wait to read the book!
-
carolyn in PAThis podcast changed my practice.I found this podcast a few months after I became EMDR trained. I just knew that EMDR was a powerful tool and modality but I felt so anxious about using it. This podcast gave me the confidence and knowledge and support I needed to do the hard work of learning how to practice EMDR in a way that felt congruent with my values, my needs, and my clinical intuition. I am now EMDR certified and I credit this podcast with giving me the courage and confidence to pursue that. I’m now on my way to becoming a consultant! Thank you thank you thank you beyond healing for all of your amazing work. I recommend this podcast to anyone I think might even have the slightest bit of interest in it.
-
dhdghhjjSimply the best ❤️ one stop shopI’m “newishly” trained in basic EMDR and my trainer recommended this podcast. So thankful she did! I listen everyday, even listening to some episodes 2-3 times. Invaluable resource!❤️
-
Audrey_MFTAmazing resource!!This podcast has been a HUGE help as a new EMDR therapist! Even if you aren’t trained in EMDR the information and insights shared will help strengthen your therapy and case conceptualization skills. Listening from the beginning is worth it! Thank you BHC team!!! 💕💕💕
-
ShookmeLoving the SupportA-Z Interweaves was a great episode! Looking forward to buying the book to guide my practice. Dr. Morrissey is an easy interview to listen to! I also listened to most of season 1 of Notice That after getting EMDR trained and found it so helpful to have more small chunks of guidance to implement the protocol and various steps with clients.
-
McKennahFavorite Podcast!I am so thankful for this team and how much they give back to the community. As a new therapist who is also new to EMDR, these podcasts have taught me so much about trauma and how we can truly help our clients. I also love the episode made specifically for clients that walks them through light stream, I share that one all the time!
-
Leslie W67Very HelpfulI began listening to this podcast in the several weeks leading up to my EMDR Basic training and continue to listen regularly now. It helped me get more out of the training and I continue to be a regular listener.
-
healingrootscounselingA powerful gem of a resourceAs a newly trained EMDR therapist I often feel stuck in how to approach challenges with the EMDR protocol and this podcast has been a LIFE SAVER as a clinician. I absolutely LOVE this podcast as it provides invaluable resources and also a sense of connection and community! THANK YOU!!!!
-
jenjengmTransformativeThis show has provided such vital information to put the pieces into place with my EMDR practice. Extremely insightful.
-
GiilhihhhSuch a gem! This podcast is transformative! It's hugely beneficial to any clinician. Thanks soooooo much!
-
Sammy 0314Wonderful podcast!Fantastic resource!! No pun intended… Only issue is audio with recent episodes, I seem to be having trouble picking up her voice in comparison to other therapist. She has a lovely voice! Just harder for me to hear for some reason. Thanks.
-
MeredithLawlerLCSWThis Podcast is changing my practice!!I just finished #7 and I can’t begin to tell you both how grateful I am for this podcast. I was about to give up on being a “good” EMDR therapist but I now feel so hopeful. SO much has clicked into place and finally is starting to make sense. I cannot even tell you how grateful I am. So instead, I’m just going to “go with that.” :)
-
dave91648BrilliantYou guys are amazing. I love everything you do, and have brought so much of it into practice. I’d love an episode geared towards 1st responders. I have several officers and EMTs that would Ben if it from an episode geared towards them. Melisa”s ego state story brought me to tears as we struggled for almost 2 years with similar stuff. All somatic episodes are some of my favorites. Keep up the work BHI!!!
-
GelpensetSome great episodes if you have time to wait for the clinical contentI love some episodes and others I fast-forward in hopes they will get to the promised topic (but just touch on it, saying “there’s so much we can cover here” but don’t). I definitely recommend episodes where there are only 2 hosts, esp. Jen & Melissa. He may mean well but Bridger’s interruptions to affirm them or “yesss” or to restate the same thing come across as condescending and take away from the content (just time fillers). He is smart for sure but the dynamics are distracting. And generally skip the first 10-12 minutes of every episode due to all the promoting.
-
Bethy39Fantastic!Thank you Brigger ((?) for the way you support the gals w your “yes, yes!” Also, I’m so grateful that you are always summarizing what was said in words I better understand! I love this podcast!
-
Michele in TurkeyEssential listening for all therapistsI can’t express how valuable I feel each episode has been for my practice. I take notes, rewind, and listen again. I’ve been practicing for almost 30 years but am fairly new to EMDR. Even those who do not use EMDR can benefit from the breakdown of nervous system and ego state information. Thanks so much!
-
H4z3L3y35Interrupting is really distractingThe content is wonderful, by the male host interrupting the female host or re-explaining what she has just said is incredibly distracting. Both hosts also say “yes” or “mhmm” while the other is speaking, and I find that really distracting as well. The content is spot on, perfect, amazing, and I’m so grateful for it, I just wish the delivery was a little more mindful.
-
brooklyn therapistGreat podcastThis is a great podcast. Love the way they explore ego state work. Clearly they are all passionate, skilled, and experienced. My only two critiques: Wish Bridger didn’t have the compulsion to jump in and subtly correct the two women. Also wish Jen would stop saying “kind of” unnecessarily.
-
dcbfan87HelpfulLoving this so far! Very helpful as a basic trained emdr therapist!
-
Watercooler25Super Helpful 🔥✅I often send people here because of the high quality info on healing trauma. Top notch Dr. John - The Men’s Self-Help Podcast
-
Kelly R HGreat therapists, great listen!I was lucky enough to do a training recently with these folks and it was one of the best I have been to. The podcast reflects how intelligent, caring, professional, and kind these people are. I’d give them six stars if I could!
-
steph from illinoisLove!I was recently trained in EMDR and stumbled on this podcast. I listen while I am doing dishes, gardening, driving...I can’t get enough! So helpful and fits with the Somatic and Attachment focused EMDR model I was trained in. I love the analogies and I have ordered several books that have been recommended. You guys are such a great resource!
-
Jenniffer W-WLove the therapists, love the information!I’ve really enjoyed this podcast, not just the information shared to help inform and better my practice with patients, but to help increase my understanding of the topics and grow my language around it. Sooo worth the listen!
-
0509...My favorite EMDR go to!This podcast has become an invaluable resource!! Whenever I have a question or something I need to brush up on as an EMDR therapist, I always check here first and can always find the answer. Thank you Jen, Melissa and Bridger for sharing your brilliant minds, valuable content, and helping to spread the word about how to effectively use EMDR!!
-
abumandafishWow! Where have you been my whole life! These guys are awesome! I love listening to their insight on current research as well as describing the real way they apply the theory to their practice! Definitely worth the listen!
-
blab manFantasticI’m not an EMDR therapist and I still get a lot out of this podcast. Lots of great info to help deal with past experiences and move forward. Definitely worth your time!
-
Javen579Love the 2 parts of Polyvagal theory...I have self-administered audio BLS for my low-end CPTSD symptoms, as well as read Dr. Laurel Parnell’s book on Attachment EMDR, and joined 2 FB groups of EMDR for support. I found your podcast from one of these FB groups. I am always trying to understand more about my issues and your information on Polyvagal sessions was the explanation I was looking for as to why I gravitate so much toward this one friend who makes me feel safe, who is very calm and caring, and who is very honest. His presence helps me regulate and so many times when I have been distressed his calmness showed me how to be calm in the situation. His presence entrains me out of my chaos and allows me to be safe. I loved your 2 part series with Bridget and hope you can discuss anything more about this.
-
Smm0520So helpful!I just finished my basic training and working towards certification now. This podcast has been incredibly helpful through the process!!
-
⭐️Megan⭐️Thank you for this great podcast series:)I am getting trained in EMDR and recently completed part 1. I’m pretty anxious about moving forward with my clients, and feel a bit overwhelmed by all the recommended reading and prep that’s goes along with it. However, this podcast has been incredibly helpful and has answered many of the questions I have, (or will eventually have!). The hosts are excellent and I love how they bring in their personal experience. I likely will listen to all of the podcasts a second round if possible.
-
coltsfankanaSo helpfulThis was so helpful to me as a newly trained EMDR therapist. It made me aware of struggles I had in sessions but didn’t know how to explain!! It helped me move past these issues.
-
WoopFanLove Love LoveI am a new EMDR therapist and this podcast is really helpful. I am learning so much, and feeling inspired. The presentation is uplifting, friendly and engaging. I really enjoy it and look forward to the next episode. It is expanding my view of what’s possible. Thank you for making the podcast!!!
-
CCder84EMDR is a must for clinicians.I’m a newly trained EMDR therapist and I love this podcast. Once I was trained and applying the techniques in my practice, the podcast became invaluable as a resource. Also, Jen was my consultant so I might be biased! But seriously EMDR therapy is pretty awesome!
