I really enjoy your podcast and loved hearing Matthew share his life with Xmen!

I started listening to this podcast in anticipation for there special episode 100 and was certainly not disappointed! A fun recap filled with just such an emotional overview and journey to see how things from the past and present intertwine. Such encouraging words! Chris and Chandler do an amazing job with this show and I cannot stop recommending it!

The dual conceit the hosts have here is that they are discussing issues in a random, out of order manner, and that they don’t really know much about the characters, creators, or topics that they talk about. It can be frustrating for audiences who are baffled by the perceived obliviousness of the hosts. Similarly, I grit my teeth when the hosts neglect to talk about beautiful pages of art but DO gush over advertisements (accompanied by alarms) over mundane crap like bubble gum.

As a massive X-Men fan, this podcast hits in all the right ways. Chris and Chandler do a great job dissecting X-Men stories and interviewing creators in the industry. This pod is X-ceptional!… too much?

As a huge X-Men fan from childhood, I always looked for others like me. And as I moved into adulthood and took up illustrating in the industry, I came across this amazing duo who break open past issues and reawaken the stories of I loved in the Xmen universe as a kid dreaming to draw them someday for Marvel, and have them on while I work. Also, I love listening to their hilarious commentary on all things mutant (from fashion to x-crushes to wishlist powers to action figure collection), the vast array of celebrity guests they bring on (Marvel Writers and Artists, Animated Series Voice Actors, Cosplay Celebs and other popular X-Men Podcast community members), the “AD ALERT” interludes, and really enjoy the special events they put on for their fans!!! Check them out, grab a drink, draw, do a puzzle whatever, but have them on in the background and have a blast geeking out with this fantastic podcast.

This podcast is fun to listen too once I’ve finished my new reads of the week. I can find out what issue they are covering, go read it then and listen to the show. There are so many X books I missed out on back in the day and a lot of the time I have a hard time choosing what to read next. So this is a fun way of helping either pick up an old issue or search the marvel unlimited app.

Have a great time by spending an hour listening to the gang talk comics with guests! Fun and approachable and always a great time!

The guys do a good job of revisiting old X Men stories, giving historical context and noting ads in the originally published issues. I very much like how they jump all over the X Universe publication history rather than follow a chronological trail. That keeps things more fresh and unexpected. The time they spend on ads in the comics is too much for me, and frankly too loud - we don’t really need an alert. It’s a fun bit, and does help with context, but I feel like they spend as much time on the ads as the actual story per issue.

Love this show! Chris a new Chandler are great guys and they have on some fantastic guests! Keep up the great work gentlemen!

This show is such a wonderful listen. We need more theatricality bright to our comics and these folks deliver. There are so much joy to be heard here. Do yourself a favor and give them a listen and you might as well hit subscribe.

Chris and Chandler have really done an amazing job putting together an experience that anyone can enjoy. Whether you’re brand new to the X-Men or have been a fan since 1963, you will find something to love with each new episode. Their chemistry with one another is amazing, the “ad alerts” are hilarious and their passion for the X-Men is beautifully woven throughout. Phenomenal guests have lent their voices to readings of classic stories, all bringing their own experiences with this world and these characters to the show. It is remarkable to see just how many people whose lives have been touched by the X-Men. On a personal note, I do not have many people in my life who share my affection for comics, specifically these books. I often felt like an outcast myself growing up and turned to the X-Men as my escape from reality and they were also one of my sources of artistic inspiration. Chris and Chandler have built a community of people that I truly feel a part of and that has been something very special. Keep up the amazing work, gents! Mutant and proud.

This is literally the only X-men podcast that I’ve been able to stick with! Fun, new takes on classic issues combined with the hosts’ friendship make for a great listen!

Chandler and Chris bring a really fun take analyzing classic X-Men comics page by page! I love that they always comment on how characters are drawn and what they are wearing in detail!

Chris and Chandler are awesome hosts. These two have so much fun I find myself wanting to join in on the conversation!The episode with guest co host Lenore Zahn (the one true Rogue) of X-men the animated series is a standout, as well as the episode with actor Casper Van Dien (who knew he was so knowledgeable about X-history!).

One of the premier X-men podcast! Chandler and Chris are so much fun as they are reading classic X-men stories and the “ad alerts” are hilarious and make for a great drinking game. Great podcast for those who enjoy revisiting Bronze Age X-men.

Having seen chandler at several swanky Hollywood events and knowing his amazing work in publicity, i was pleasantly surprised to learn he was an x men fan and knowledgeable at that! Chris and chandler host a fun, and well paced podcast that chronicles some of the best x men adventures that cover their film and animated series adaptations. You come for the comics, but you stay for the hilarious Advertising commentary!

It feels like the Wendy Williams show and Chandler/Chris spill ALL the mutant tea 😂! Highly recommend because they bring in special guests like X-Men voice actors to read lines from classic comics as their characters. A must listen for any X-Men fans.

If you ever wanted two guys to go through old comics you love, chat about the character's fashion choices, homo-erotic overtones, and call out wacky ads from the 70s and 80s, this is the podcast for you! (I didn't know I wanted that in my life, but I DID!) Chris and Chandler are charming and endearing, and it's been fun to revisit X-Men issues through their eyes. It's made me want to go back and re-read all the old issues I have. Fun stuff!

Chris and Chandler review vintage X-Men comics: Fashion; over-dramatic dialogue; crazy ads and the onomatopoeias. Never serious, always funny. This is not deep-dive comic minutia for the over-obsessive fan-boys, this is a freshcover-to-cover look at some of the most celebrated super-hero comics in history. The hosts have great chemistry, and you'll have a great time.

This is a hands down hilarious podcast..... These guys will look at everything from the actual issues to the fantastic retro ads.... the banter is absolutely amazing and you can feel their love and excitement for the books... I absolutely love the issues they have reviewed so far... and love the camp sensibilities in the issues they have chosen to review so far... plus anyone who starts out with a review of Dazzlers first appearance automatically wins my confidence.... other great gay friendly superhero icons they have tackled like the first appearance of Jubilee.... I absolutely can not say enough about the love for the books that shines through.... and the hilarity that ensues with each listen....

This podcast is so much fun! Each episode they take a close look at a classic issue of Uncanny X-men, talking about the characters, the storyline, the fashion of the times and even the old school ads! The hosts have a great rapport, are hilarious in their observations, and everyone has a gay ol' time.

This podcast really cracks me up. The hosts have a great rapport as they disect past issues of Uncanny X-Men. Their casual knowledge of the history of the X-Men allow you to really experience the story for the firstime alonside them. I look forward to new episodes every month.

X-Men comics recounted from a couple of queer folk, it’s joyous! Exactly what you wanted and needed! Also a fun way to get a taste of X-Men history without diving into the longbox and doing a full read through of the complex history.

Such a fun podcast! As a self-proclaimed X-Pert who has read these issues many times, it’s so fun to listen to two people read them for the first time (or at least the first time in many years) and experience them the way I did in my childhood. The costumes! The drama! The ads! The weird sexual innuendos that I definitely didn’t notice as a kid! If you need a good escape and love the X-Men, this podcast is for you.
