I’ve come late to this podcast — I’m watching Fleabag again and so I discovered you. You’re so much fun and I dread the time when it will be over. I even listened to your last Chatty Wednesday, hoping you might have talked about Killing Eve, but unfortunately no … In any case I just wanted to say that Allie’s idea about Fleabag consciously or not sleeping with Boo’s bf because she wanted Boo all to herself and about F’s guilt is genius! I know you have lives and such, but I wish you would come back and do something else (like KE?), it’s a pleasure listening to you! You brought so much detail and research to your discussions, it’s exactly what I most like. I used to teach film, and I wish my students had been more like you. And here I would like to mention Chrissie’s thoughts on the 180• degrees were excellent! PS in episode 6 2nd season the Priest takes her hand and it’s true that she doesn’t respond, but if you look closely she’s touching his wrist with her left hand, rubbing it with her thumb.

I love love love this podcast. I just started listening today and already got through 5 episodes 🔥(and I’m still going!) honestly it makes me feel like I’m sitting and chatting with friends. Chrissie and Allie seem like the most light and genuine people and I wish I was friends with them.

You had me at the first episode. None of my friends watch Fleabag despite me trying to convince them for the last few years, now I finally have an outlet! Listening to you ladies recap this show I feel like I’m listening to my people who appreciate how amazing everything is about this show like me. Can’t wait to catch up on all the episodes.

That’s why, if you love Fleabag and want to recall those sublime moments of the show, you MUST listen to this podcast. Allie and Chrissie are simply the best! I can’t get enough of their smart, deep and funny analysis of each episode and character.

So it may be sacrilege that I have only watched the series once (I plan on rectifying this soon), but after that full religious experience I had to find if anyone else in the universe felt the same way I did. And I have. Christie and Allie break down the episodes in a scholarly yet fun fashion. I love this podcast and highly recommend listening to these two lovely ladies chat about all things Fleabag (and Andrew Scott) while making me feel like I have friends who understand me.

I find myself frequently cackling in my car listening to Chrissie & Allie talk about my most favorite show, Fleabag. From the amazing remix of Priest’s homily on episode 1, to Chrissie saying “SIT ON A TOWEL” while watching season 2 episode 4 (or was it 5? Both will get you there), Allie’s delightful “I want to knowwww” and the in-depth interviews with cast and crew members, this podcast has everything for the obsessed Fleabag fans. Thank you ladies for helping my obsession flourish and for being the friends I’ve never met, but feel so close to. Now, back to some smutty fanfic before your next episode.

I’ve never written a podcast review but felt compelled to let everyone know how great this one is. Our hosts, Chrissie and Allie are doing this out of the kindness of their hearts and give us hours and hours of time to reflect on how extraordinary Fleabag is. Call is a public service, call it a mitzvah, call it a gift they’ve given the world. When I finished the series it was both wonderful and devastating. To borrow from Fleabag: I didn’t know where to put all my love for the show. Thank you Chrissie and Allie for all your work on this. I love you for it and love the podcast.

Essential listening. Makes rewatching evern more fun.

I’ve become a better writer since I started listening to this podcast. Hearing the hosts go into such detail around line meanings, subtext, motivations, themes, etc. makes TFS a tv discussion podcast unlike the ones I’m used to...and it doesn’t hurt when Fleabag is the writing you’re dissecting! They’re great!

After finishing seasons 1 and 2 of Fleabag I had all of this love for the show but no place to put it. And loving Fleabag isn’t something we want to do on our own. Luckily, this podcast makes you feel like you aren’t on your own in loving the show Fleabag and articulates so well what you have been trying to explain to everyone around you about why this show is on another level with how it connects to people in such a visceral way. So with any of your routine activities like doing errands, organizing the downstairs toilet, or going for a run through a graveyard or an airport, this is the perfect accompaniment to make those activities 1000% more fun. I think what I mean is, when you find this podcast, it feels like hope.

Is there anything better than sitting with a couple of friends just obsessively chatting about something you’re all infatuated with at the moment? Nope. Chrissie and Allie take a deep dive Fleabag fans can delight in and I’m so grateful to be along for the ride. Thank you for keeping the Fleabag flame burning.

They have the conversations I wish I could have but everyone else is getting tired of me talking about it. I am so grateful that there are two smart funny women who care enough to make this emotionally necessary podcast for the true Fleabag fan! I’ve waited to post this review until I’d done a good bit of listening. (I’m listening right now as I write this.) I’ve gotten through all of the podcast episodes about each show episode plus a couple more. Now I’m going back to the other episodes about other topics. (Listening at 1x thank you very much.) Chrissie and Allie make observations on ALMOST all of the details I have noticed on my many many viewings of these episodes. I haven’t had any local friends who will watch much less dissect this show on the level I’ve emotionally required. 😂 I’m already having anxiety about when I’ve burned through these podcasts. Where will I put all the love I have for Fleabag?? You ladies should straight up put a “donate” button on your site.

Chrissie and Allie have been my life after finishing Fleabag. They are insightful, funny and give the show the breakdown and analysis it deserves!!! I feel like I have found two new friends and I have literally not listened to any other podcast since I found The Fleabag Situation.

Loved listening to Chrissie and Allie dissect every episode, it feels like you’re with friends and I appreciate the outlet for Fleabag obsession! Episodes are long, but easy to listen to on your own time and I am glad they didn’t skimp on discussing, especially for the season two episodes. The content is engaging and intellectual, but also fun and sometimes goofy.

What more can anyone ask for! FLEABAG? GREAT! PODCAST? GREAT! Throw on some pine nuts and it’s a great time to be an adult!

Love all the insight to fulfill my unholy Fleabag obsession. Chrissie and Allie do a great job anointing us with all things Fleabag. They even let us dip a toe into the baptismal waters of Brené Brown as well! This is the kind of podcast that performs a true miracle: taking a 25 minute episode and multiplying it into feast of 4 hours. That’s my kind of church, and I have come to worship.

I don’t have many friends who have followed the show, so listening to Chrissie and Allie talk through each episode (and the NT filming of the play) is so fun entertaining to hear their insights and helps keep the show alive for me after after the screen (TV, iPad, etc.) is off. Their Facebook page is awesome, too!!

The only thing wrong with Fleabag is that it’s too short. Once you’ve binged it the first 10 times you have the terrible realization that there is no more. You’re done. But there is so much to talk about... the actors, there writing, the symbolism, the in-jokes, the British-ness, and the people out there who you haven’t yet cornered who have yet to see the best show on streaming TV. Enter this Podcast. Come for the obsession, stay for the witty insights and infectious laughter. It’s a lovely American-hosted companion that helps you relive and analyze each episode. The Fleabag Situation is literally the first podcast I’ve ever listened to. Wait, strike that, I did Serial many years ago. But this is the first in years! Within 10 mins of the first episode, I texted my Fleabag-lovin’ friend and said, “I have found our brethren…sisteren.” You’re the kind of thoughtful, witty, analytical, warm people I want to be friends with and talk about Fleabag with all day long. I need to move to Atlanta! Thank you for doing the Lord’s work (can’t wait to get to your S2 episodes). Would you ever consider doing a call-in episode?

I wanted to like the podcast bc I adore Fleabag, but it’s hours upon hours of nothing talk, circling the drain until they get to the episode content, and even then they fool you because they touch on a few points and go right back to talking to each other about themselves instead of discussing the show.

In a way, I'm in love with this podcast. Wait, no, I just fully am. It's making me question my faith in AV club recaps and the comment sections. I thought I found good insight there but wow, this podcast is much better. It's exactly what Fleabag fans need.

These fan girls speak too fast and too low, and they don’t add anything interesting about the show. Wish there was a better Fleabag podcast but I’ll put up with this until I find a better one or find someone I can obsessed talk to about this show.

I was starving to talk about this amazing show with my friends or even strangers. The show’s hosts totally get it! They take on each episode and any pop culture news surrounding the show and it’s stars with excruciating delightful detail! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Like others, I’ve found it extremely difficult to find friends who’ve watched Fleabag, let alone with the same ferocious obsessive frequency that I have. I’ve recommended the show to so many people and I’ve honestly yet to hear from any of them on their opinions. I’m obsessed with Fleabag and have run out of things to read and listen to about it so I’m really glad this podcast exists! The two hosts are funny and real and have great insight into the story and the character choices. I definitely recommend this to anyone who needs more Fleabag in their life!

Ok so it's 1:30 am and I'm too exhausted to finish the first episode but I'm just so glad this even exists. After finishing season 2 I said to my husband that Fleabag is an absolute work of art. I was a fine arts major so I feel "qualified"to make this call. ; ) And hearing you ladies say the very same thing made me so happy! PWB is a legit genius and l am an overnight huge fan. I'm even going to see her one woman play of Fleabag in a local movie theater soon. I'm sure you two already know it's being shown in theaters. They claim it's a live broadcast but it can't be because of the time difference but whatever. Anyway, I've subscribed and anyone who loves Fleabag to a possibly unhealthy degree should,too.
