Anatomy and Physiology - Bit by Bit

23

"Anatomy & Physiology - Bit by Bit" is not only intended for college students taking A&P, it's for anyone who is interested in how the human body is structured and how it functions. Where students are concerned, the goal is "B or better." Whether you're interested in nursing, physical therapy, physician assistant, radiography, etc, a B or better should be the goal to be competitive with other students in your field. Hopefully, these short, pointed discussions will help you understand what you need to be successful. Feel free to email me questions at minus55media@gmail.com.

    Got my A in A&P
This podcast helped me go from a B to an A, seriously beneficial to be able to listen while I do other things and deepen those neural pathways.

Great review for going back to school
About to begin grad school and this is such a wonderful review on my commute to work. Best A&P show I’ve found since Doc C show has been removed

So helpful and resourceful. I love to listen while driving to-from work to really have the information stick. He explains the info very smoothly and it’s easy to follow. Recommend to anyone taking A&P

    Love this!
I am intrigued with the ins and outs of the human body, and have been on a quest to find just the right resource to help me brush up on concepts with which I had grown fuzzy. I hit the jackpot! I can’t recommend this resource enough to those who may be in my situation—starting nursing school as an older, non-traditional student needing a refresh in small bites of conversation-style lessons. Dr. Sullivan explains the physiology, or how& why of human anatomy in such a way that is simple yet profound. Please keep making these episodes!!!And thank you!!

    Great review!
I’m finishing up PA school and I’m using this and the YouTube channel as a review for anatomy because I have forgotten a ton. This is PERFECT for a review. Succinct and easy to understand. So glad I found this!

    Incredible resource for A&P
I am taking A&P online and his has truly helped to improve my understanding of the material. Dr. Steve Sullivan presents the concepts clearly, and I have really enjoyed being able to listen while driving. This podcast definitely helped me get an A in A&P1, hoping for another A for A&P2 but I’m afraid the episodes released will not quite keep up with the curriculum for this current semester, what will I do?! 😭😭

    Love it
I’m currently taking Anatomy and Physiology and this podcast is so helpful. As a full time student and a working mom pulling for straight A’s, it is SO helpful to be able to maximize my time by listening to these while I’m driving or cleaning to get a better grasp of the subjects I’m studying.

Great info, kind, humble and makes it so easy to understand!
I love your podcast! I have taken biology and am currently taking anatomy and physiology I and II and this has been so helpful! It was so easy to “gel” all that I had previously learned last semester in biology and actually perceive the visual with the way you explained it! It was as though all the prior info I had learned settled in with your detailed and descriptive, easy-to-understand explanation! Thanks for all you put into your show! (Im only on episode 8, loving the updates on the cat, and hoping your cat is well!) :)

    Accessible and understandable!
I am a busy mom of two. I am glad to find this podcast and how it’s helped me review with material is discussed in my lecture class. I can’t seem to find a time to sit down and study on a regular textbook, but with this podcast, I can just plug my AirPods and listen away.

    Excellent supplement to A&P courses
I am so thankful to have found this podcast! Dr. Sullivan delivers the content in a concise but informative manner that is easy to follow, and it serves as an excellent review tool for students with long commutes or multitaskers. The YouTube channel that goes by the same name gives the learner the visual learning experience to go along with the information he teaches. Thank you, Dr. Sullivan, for creating an excellent, free supplement to my A&P lecture notes.

I’m a first year nursing midwifery student and was feeling totally overwhelmed with all of the information I was receiving. This podcast is my saving grace! I love the way Steve thoroughly explains while also making this stuff sound interesting and holding my attention. I wish he was my professor lol. Please make more episodes so I can get through my degree program haha!

    Just what I was missing!
I’m currently taking A&P asynchronously and it is so difficult for me to just read the text and apply it. Your podcast is the lecture component that I was missing. You’re helping solidify concepts and bringing the reading to life. Thank you so much!!

    Incredible resource
This podcast is incredible. I’m taking all my nursing pre recs online and it’s so necessary to have extra instructional resources. Dr Sullivan presents chunks of material with key principles so clearly. Thank you!
  • Deepgreen29
    My favorite study resource!
Thank you so much Dr. Sullivan. I have very much enjoyed your podcasts as I listen to them after I read my text and watch my own professor’s lectures. I’m taking A&P 1 right now, and I truly hope you continue all through A&P II and beyond!! For any students reading reviews, this podcast is so well done. He breaks the topics into easily absorbed pieces, and his way of connecting the material to real life is truly unmatched anywhere I have found. Some of his mnemonics and sayings I will never forget.

Love the length of the episodes and audio quality... not to mention Dr. Sullivan's amazing teaching skills! This podcast is a huge gift to students everywhere from a professor who just loves to teach. I'm in high school and have never taken an official A&P course, but Dr. Sullivan makes the subject so accessible in this podcast. Can't wait to see more episodes!
