Guilty pleasure podcast listening to a couple curmudgeons rip the isles. McDavid is a “ham and egger” take but grumpy old MAGA man drove me to write this review. Hilarity! A Caps fan

After bashing Lou for the horvat trade for the main reason dumb hof gm he couldn’t sign him. Next day he signed 8 yrs he also said he woud t sign a contract with us now. But he said we could of signed him after season. Do you see how ridiculous he sounds again. He won’t sign now but he’ll sign as free. Agent I can’t believe they amlolllllll. I’d love to watch a game with him no sound and I’ll school him on the game of hockey. I don’t know him so I’m just taking a guess I wonder off he ever actually laced up the skates. A can think of more but I’ll stick with that. We still have time to win for next 5 yrs and then who knows we may make moves in next 5 yrs for draft picks youth and more talent. Tj prays they don’t make it. And constantly saying why make the playoffs if you’re not going to win the cup lollll. I love playoff hockey and I remember when the saying never die islanders was first in existence there no way your show of 50 be called never say die islanders. All you do is put them down and all your info comes from newsday and I’m sure more. People who never played the game always talk cap space and and all the money part of the game not the game. It’s funny and annoying when you talk about going into the corners back checking for be king when you never played the game. You just read about it. By the way Romanov is a plus 15 Dobson is only one better at plus 17. When you draw up a rediculous play you forget to mention who the goalie should pick up. You never laced up the skates so you don’t know what it’s like to play the game. I hope if the islanders won the cup opologise to Lou and the players then end the show. Grumpy old man is so far from now your talking an expert and changes is mind yoconstantly. If you never played the game you just don’t know. Maybe tj played when he was 6. Lolll it don’t count your talking about coaching with Baffi you said with conviction it’s the players not the coach lolll I remember when the old man said faceoffs don’t matter. Just showed you never played. And I’m sure you will deny this because you have no balls. Tj you know absolutely nothing your a reader because you don’t know the game!!!

Just listen and they’ll remind you at least a dozen times during the show. Due to the lack of isles podcasts I gave them an honest shot, and listened to a few weeks of shows. I just can’t anymore. Both the main dudes are completely insufferable and a little too high on themselves. Constantly pointing out how they correctly predicted every negative islanders situation since the turn of the century. Stick to isles anxiety. Their gripes are discussed in a much more entertaining style and mike and Dan are infinitely more likeable than these 2.

The other reviews are correct. Nothing but complaining. Talking in complete circles. “Lou is terrible. Bad contracts. They will never make the playoffs. Horrible ownership that just wants to flip the team. Rinse. Repeat.” For two and a half hours. They is a lot of good content out there. This is five hours a week I could be listening to that.

I listen to sports podcasts to educate myself. This one is all emotion, no intelligence. I don’t know how either one of these guys can call themselves “expert analysts,” because all they do is complain. If you’re a Ranger fan and want to laugh at Islander fans being irrationally angry, this is the podcast for you!

A little naive at times to be honest. I would give 4 stars given that it’s a team specific pod and naivety and idealism are expected but I can’t take the talking over one another. Please speak one at a time.

Great podcast 3 hrs every episode! No bias opinions on the New York Islanders! Grumpy Old Man tells it how it is!! The host has a great radio voice!! Grumpy predicted exactly what would happen to Isles this season!

I gave 4 stars since these guys are entertaining and have good chemistry. For me the negativity is just too much sometimes, and gets old. “That being said,” I give them credit for their work ethic since they put out many hours of content weekly.

Would be a 5 without grumpy on the show. How can you name it never say die with the most negative “fan” on it? Without him it would be a 5 star review. He trashes Lou /Trotz and his analysis is idiotic and sounds like a guy at the end of the bar that never played past high school.

But PLEASE stop saying ‘Grumpy Old Man’ 3 times a minute

I like the chat of isles content and game dissection but does the one guy have to say grump/grumpy old man 1000 times, it gets a little annoying.

It’s almost a contest to see how many times they can use the phrase “grumpy old man”. It really grates on you by the time you get halfway through.

Best islanders content out there. Love these guys
