I’m listening to Matt Fradd’s podcast episode 516 and at time stamp 2:11 (2 hr 11 min) he gives you a mention and quote “she is a lovely woman.” I listen to every week and you provide so much honesty and realness to the Catholic Ghetto. Thanks for making me feel seen in. Christian world that wants to push me down. You truly bring Christ’s joy to my life through your work. Knock em dead in Denver 🪽

Annabananna78Village hustleJen, I listen to your podcast every week. I even saw your show in Minneapolis a couple years ago!! Since I saw your show, I’ve had a baby. As an American, we are not a village culture. But my husband is Vietnamese. And his whole family is Catholic. When I was pregnant, I never knew how much a village meant. But Once I had my son…wow. We are meant to have a village as you say. As I am talking, my husband’s cousins are coloring, his aunt is handling the baby, my brother-in-law is grocery shopping, I’m walking the dog, and my mother and father-in-law are making food. I wish I could share pictures! Thank you for an amazing podcast. I look forward to listening to you every week.

Franchdressing97February 2nd was life changing for us bothJen, I cannot thank you enough for coming to a city near me on the weekend before my birthday. WAHOO. I will be bringing my delicate lady’s fan and CACKLING behind it at your hot fire comedy. I cannot wait! OK JEN VCCV pattern !!! I’M PUMPED THAT YOU KNOW THIS. I taught 4th grade for 3 years and my passion was reading intervention. We used to chant and sing the various vowel patterns. My favorite was VCCV because it lends itself to a little YMCA style dancing. The fact that you said this made me happier than a ping pong ball on the ocean. 🤣 Something else we have in common is the anniversary date of February 2nd: On February 2nd, 2024, I took myself in to a PMAD center to receive treatment for my PPA, PPD, PPOCD, and PTSD from sudden onset preeclampsia, traumatic birth and a NICU preemie (It’s so touching to hear about your youngest kiddo’s experience). But on the same day, feb 2, I think in the same year?? 2024?? You got banned from your hematology practice. So we have such a connection! I got accepted into a life-changing program and you were banned from a life-saving medical office. 🫢🤣😭 Seriously, that was so scary and I was praying for you like crazy during that experience. Jen, you hit the nail on the head. I often question, “what am I looking for on my phone?” And the answer is usually “human interaction.” I often crave some connection with other people as I’m in the trenches of motherhood. This beautiful, messy, challenging blessing. Jen, you’re such a gift to me! I think I’ve been following your podcast since like 2020 after I saw you speak at SEEK 2019 in Indianapolis. I went from almost crashing the 15 passenger van I had to help drive there in 2019 to me in 2025, full time mama, three part time jobs + my own side hustle of a crochet/textile business, AND to top it off, I have decided that I have left behind my “dork years” and am now in my “hot mom era.” 😂💁♀️ Obviously, you get a chunk of the credit for my metamorphosis. P. S. I’m praying for you and your face. God bless! P. P. S. I’m always one of the people who listens to the entire podcast and I enjoy the little indirect shoutout I get for that 🥰

Clare W.K.FREE LIFECOACHINGI’ve only been listening to this podcast for a month or so, but it has already become the highest quality (free) life coaching and laugh therapy all wrapped into one. 10/10. Also, I think Jen is the only mom with a public presence who doesn’t make me feel worse about being a mom, but is just soooo relatable and reminds me to give myself grace, while giving me the pep talk I need to become a better me. Keep up the good work, Jen! AMDG.

Rachel5698“‘No worries if not’ is the battle cry of people who are afraid to take up space’”“‘No worries if not’ is the battle cry of people who are afraid to take up space’”… I feel like this was spoken directly to me and I needed this last episode so badly. Thank you so much Jen! You’re my weekly cheerleader!

Don - PipersvilleThe real deal!No fluff, just our friend Jen talking life with just the mix of edge, humility, faith, humor and advice to not overweight or overplay any of those. I used to listen to Jen on Sirius Catholic Channel during my weekly 3-hour commute from CT to PA. Loved that show and was glad to find Jen in Podcast Land. Thanks, Jen, for the recommendation on the Leah Darrow podcast. If I had a podcast, I would tell about the time I actually laid hands on Leah in a small chapel at a youth conference at Franciscan U. in Steubenville, OH. I accidentally walked into a private prayer session and found myself laying on hands with the other presenters and band members! Fantastic. Chalk another one up for the Holy Spirit! Don D. Ashley McMeow!Love love LOVE!!Yes, I make it to the end of your podcasts and appreciate that we’re the same kind of crazy! When I get in a funk, I always know that you, Jen, will lift me out of it because your funk is always louder and more epic. I’ve seen you in Houston and Toledo, and need you to come back to the north! I’m trying to plan a mom’s night and need you to perform on a week night in Ann Arbor. Since we’re best life-long friends and you’re my spirit animal, I know how much you want to come stay at my house, I promise the bats and mice are gone and almost all the holes in the wall are repaired! My Catholic ghetto plan is to have you come back annually and I’ll make your show a regular hot ticket item at our silent auction for my kid’s school. This needs to happen before your comedy millions, so I hope you don’t mind that I’m praying that you remain rich- adjacent for a few more years so you might still awkwardly pose in photos with me and my friends as establish your cult following here. Your forever bestie and founding member of the Catholic ghetto jingle bell moms of SSA-AA, Ashley McMeow!

Leah DarrowBrace Yourself for Jen Fulwiler: The Comic Genius You Didn’t Know You Desperately NeededIf Taylor Swift and Trevor Noah had a baby who was raised by the spirit of pure genius and impeccable comedic timing, her name would be Jen Fulwiler. This woman isn’t just a stand-up comedian—she’s a full-body, soul-shaking, laugh-until-you-question-your-life-choices experience. Watching her perform is like attending a TED Talk hosted by your hilariously unhinged best friend who somehow manages to be both profoundly wise and completely unfiltered at the same time. Her podcast? Oh, it’s not just a podcast—it’s a MASTERCLASS in wit, vulnerability, and “did-she-just-say-that” moments that will leave you both existentially wrecked and spiritually revived. Jen doesn’t just speak into a mic; she delivers truth bombs wrapped in punchlines with the precision of a comedy ninja. Also, I’d like to note, humbly, that I am her BFF, which means I’ve had the distinct honor of witnessing her brilliance up close—and let me tell you, even her grocery store rants are stand-up worthy. She’s the only person who could make a story about buying almond milk sound like an epic hero’s journey. If you haven’t seen her live or binged her podcast yet, what are you even doing with your life? Fix that. Thank me later.

madonnac🤍I DOWNLOADED THIS APP SO YOU WOULD DEFINITELY READ MY MESSAGE- SO PLEASE READ!!!Hi Jen!! I have wanted to send you a message because you were the reason I went for MULTIPLE opportunities (one was getting to play Maria in The Sound of Music - it was very dramatic, I literally was going to turn around and not go to the audition then you gave me a good ol DO IT- so THANK YOU) but thought you'd understand literally every week wanting to comment and always forgetting or getting distracted (also I usually listen on Spotify)... you know how it is haha. ANYWAY I sent you a message on patreon but just REALLY wanted to make sure you saw it- so I’m leaving it here! (I also left a little out that you might want to see there). I want you to know YOU'RE THE BEST AND I LISTEN EVERY WEEK!!! I started listening DAY 1!!! You make SUCH a huge impact on people, I always talk about your podcast to others!!! Thank you for everything! Know I'm praying for you!!

Lainz333Share not over shareI love how Jen is still bringing the hot fire every week without discussing details at length in her regular podcast about her health. She’s still interested in such a variety of things and bringing all the value to this FREE podcast despite health issues. It’s so refreshing and shows that Jen is living the reality that life is multifaceted and even when there are hard things happening in one area of life one can still focus on living well in many other areas of life. Arrgh! (Pirate cheer) Thank you for bringing your best to us Jen! Your podcast has helped me in many ways, I love the mindset perspective you bring, it’s so valuable.

RLGermanyFull of hot fire takesI listen to Jen every week. I love how she is both relatable and a good kind of crazy.

AnnAndy21St. GuntramnusI've been listening to Jen's podcast for years, and it has given me the courage to pursue my dreams and have babies at the same time! I have always wanted a PhD (in literature), and I knew I didn't want to put my family on hold while I got it done. (If I did that, by the time I finished I would be old and the world does not need more sad academic cat ladies.) So, last year I started a PhD full time with a one year old at home, still doing much of the childcare myself, and I just had my second baby during winter break of year two! Without Jen and this wonderful podcast (how is it free?) I think I would be constantly second guessing if this is best for my family, but she helps me see that a yes to my blue flame and to babies is the most fulfilling life for all of us! It is a lot of work, but I *love* being a mom and a student at the same time, and I’m better at each because of the other. I'm finally writing a (long-overdue) review so that I can share the following event: I knew that starting this new semester with a toddler and a gassy/refluxy 2 month old at home would not be easy, so I turned to Jen’s year-generators for some hope. Alas. My word is “tough.” And my saint is St. Guntramnus, patron of "divorced people, guardians, and reformed murderers." 🙃 My husband’s word was “generous” though, so maybe we’ll salvage the marriage after all? Anyone reading this, pray for us. 😂Anyway, thanks for keeping me going, Jen! And to anyone out there who thinks academia and babies don’t mix—it is possible and so worth it.

BtrembQueen of the Trad WarsMy cheeks hurt from laughing in my kitchen while making dinner, and my kids are shouting from the next room “what is so funny”??? Jen describing “Level Up” culture aka SheRaSeven to the Catholic ghetto was not on my 2025 bingo card. But Jen is a master at making deep yet hilarious cultural insights. Take what is useful, and leave the rest. I pledge thee my loyalty; Queen of the Trad Wars! “pong on” and “sprinkle sprinkle”… HOW IS THIS PODCAST FREE?!?
-
AmberPeters05Never stop.Could there have been better timing than the Holidays for you to start promoting Journal Speak? I’m not even doing it right, and already my eyelids have stopped twitching. It was constant and painful, and now it’s gone. I might just make it through Christmas without burning down my life. It’s CRAZY how much better I feel. God bless you, Jen!

KEB86531You Inspired My White Elephant GiftHi Jen! I have listened to you for years and you always have the greatest insights, but your Laugh Track insight is one of the best! You inspired my white elephant gift for a party. It’s call the Gnome in Your Home. It’s little gnome and it includes the following poem, maybe we should collab on some hot fire merch! 🤣 The Gnome in Your Home He is the awkward stepcousin of our popular friend, who sits on your shelf during the Christmas season. The gnome in your home watches you day and night and in your life he takes much delight. This creepy little guy sees everything you do. And in all of your foibles he’s there to remind you. Your life is not the Game of Thrones, but rather a sitcom a romcom….a dark comedy in your home. Whether there’s a misstep, a slip up or just plain trouble he’s there to bring a laugh-track in your mind on the double. While this track only exist in your imagination, trust me, he will be a household sensation. When you burn the lasagna or your dog eats the trash or your small child tells the neighbor they love her big fluffy a**, this little b*st*rd can’t help but let out, a belly-busting giggle to just help you out. And remind you never to take life too seriously but to look at it with humor and curiosity.

klguessBest advent talk so farHow is this podcast free??? Best episode of the year. Can I get an amen to the TikTok Catholic influencers who exist to make me feel less worthy. Can I get a hallelujah to living an abundant hopeful life. This rocked, and not just because you fell off stage in Omaha.
-
C. KantorSprinting to Get Stupid***just adding to this because Jen should be a stand up philosopher… I think people would come to both shows. How is this podcast not free? Exactly what I need to hear 👏every 👏dang👏week👏Jen’s podcast is an acquired taste, but it’s now become my weekly needed mom-check in. Highly recommend if you are not perfect but you are trying to do your best. Extra bonus if you've been navigating the dank, dark streets of the Catholic ghetto yourself! I love how each episode seems to to focus on exactly the problem I’ve been wrestling with in my mind, but because I have no real village, Jen reminds me that I’m not the only mom/woman/girl boss struggling with a particular issue, and that it IS possible to be more than one thing. It’s like real, down to earth coaching, without all the silly buzzwords. I’ve been recommending this podcast to all my friends. And Jen, please come to Sacramento. I’m sure you’d sell out.
-
allnicknamesaretakenrnwhys5 Stars! This content is gold, every week! We definitely need a video clip in the next podcast of Jen falling off the stage 😂
-
mommaarbFunny, Real, and InspiringHot fire content! It’s great how you use your humor to be real and yet always striving for excellence and inspiring others to do the same. I love your comedy and your perspective! How is this podcast free?!
-
helenlovescelloThis show is influencing my toddlersJen may not love tinned fish, but because of the Go Fish episode, my 2 and 4 year olds are obsessed with it. I can’t complain! If you need more protein and omega 3s in your kid’s diet, give this podcast a listen.
-
AnnaT605As essential as Jen’s housekeepersI have listened to Jen’s podcast for almost as long as she’s been doing it and can’t recommend it highly enough! As a 28-year old female (married but no kids yet), Jen is the mentor/life coach I/we all need. Her topics are always timely and (humorously!) speak into my real-life situations. Without all of Jen’s brilliant points, I can’t say I would have chosen to live near my village (family) and am so grateful I do! Not only is the podcast a must. But, Jen’s village hustle Patreon is for me what housekeepers are for Jen: even in the scarcest of budgets, it must stay!

footballislife1234Throwing a Party in the Dumpster FireI found this podcasts several years ago. As a mom of 4 kids (6, 5, 3, and 10 months), who stays at home, and works part-time from home, it helped me feel seen and understood by a mom who had made it out on the other side without and major negative side effects😂. This past year, I’ve never needed her podcast more. Between coffee, good friends, and Jen’s podcast, I feel like able to throw small parties in the dumpster fire that is my life. I lost my dad at 67 in May completely unexpectedly, my grandpa passed away this week, and my Mom had had serious health issues and is having surgery for her diverticulitis at the end of the year. This podcast has been my weekly life preserver while I navigate this difficult season, and has helped me be invested in good drama. #JusticeForJen My friends and I are constantly sharing how often your podcast is exactly what we needed to hear that week. Please never stop your podcast even when your inevitable comedy millions come in!
-
RMAbdelSo Relatable and Fun!I’ve read all of Jen’s books and I’ve been listening to the podcast every week for a couple of years now. I can’t believe the number of times I think “Am I living in a simulation?” because of the insane similarities we have and the coincidences that can’t possibly be just that. Example: I have a catholic friend named Hallie who moved to Alabama. She’s actually the one who gifted One Beautiful Dream to me which is what made me fall in love with Jen’s work in the first place. Well, in the book, Jen has a catholic friend named Hallie who moves to Alabama. What?!?! Each week’s podcast is a refreshing reminder of what’s important and to laugh at the chaos that is life/motherhood!

Pattts from LBKTXI am not a robot!!Your “Keep Soft “ message was what I needed to hear. My new mantra is “I am not a ROBOT!” I am 58, married, work in healthcare, kids out of the nest. Some where along the line I became an expert in being a robot , except I call it “Gutting it up” I have new insight into why I am often overwhelmed and just feel so exhausted by life’s challenges. Thanks for your efforts in encouraging and inspiring your listeners. I appreciate you very much!

andreafrey1Even the tangents have tangents and I love it!I just want to know why “trillionaire grindset” isn’t on the AI glossary for the Jen Fulwiler show 🤷🏻♀️ But in all seriousness, this is my favorite podcast ever! Listening to Jen talk is like chatting with a friend who also doesn’t have their life together and is still rocking it. It’s so encouraging, especially in my current stage of motherhood. I’m also consistently impressed by how Jen is able to pick up the thread of a tangent a few tangents later and still bring it all back to a rock solid point. I usually forget the original topic by the time she brings it full circle and am impressed every single time!

Jen, tooAmazingly amazing!Jen, I just had to tell you how amazingly amazing your latest episode was. No, actually it wasn’t amazing it was iconic. Iconically iconic, to be exact! Thanks for being the life coach I need but can’t afford to pay for.

WackyMac321😻 Waiting for the Tribe to Arrive 😻With wit and humor, Jen shares her wisdom in relatable (and sometimes wacky) ways. 😹 “It’s hard to believe that this podcast is free!” I’m still waiting for the tribe to arrive, but hearing Jen’s stories help to quiet the mainstream chatter and validate the worldviews that are often dismissed in today’s world. Jen, keep up the good fight and your comedy millions will surely pour in at any time. Thanks for keeping it real. Meow! 😻

Alexis Says HiNeed a birthday gift suggestionI’m leaving a review so you will see this because I know you don’t read DMs. I have a guy friend in his 30s who is a Catholic youth minister and 90s hip hop lover. What should I get him for his birthday? Also, love the podcast. I’m also a convert & I adopted you as my spiritual aunt.

Azrosie99Jen’s the Cat’s Meow! 😻I look forward to Wednesdays because of Jen. She’s so authentic and funny. I always get a laugh and a good message to go with it. I was introduced to Jen from her best selling book, “Something Other Than God” and found her so interesting that I googled her to see if there was a follow up to the story. I was so excited to learn that she has a podcast and is a stand up comedian! Two things I love! I’ve since referred Jen to several of my friends and family and look forward to seeing her soon in Cincinnati for her comedy tour. We have a whole posse from the Catholic ghetto coming to see her! Hoping they’ll serve Pimm’s and lemonade there. Great job Jen! Keep up the great work! -Jenni

Veronica H3😻 Meow 😹I have been listening to Jen for a few years now and although I always find her podcast amusing and enlightening, this is the first time I LAUGHED OUT LOUD!!!😂😂😂 I hope you have a show in Southern California someday. I’d love to LOL with you in person. Veronica H.

DrsaragatorGreat podcastYour last episode was hilarious. I listened to the end and I heard the cat meow loud and clear. I am so invested in the saga of Pammy’s TikTok package #justiceforpammy

jenlexington😹 Meow 😹Oh my this was the best episode yet! 😹😹😹 I started following Jen years ago when she was only blogging. It’s been so much fun watching her go from blogger to author to radio host to podcaster to comedian. She is hilarious and always makes me smile.

Catholic Ghetto CounselorRap Beef 101I have to admit I am not much of a rap fan. However, through Jen’s master level crash course on the latest rap beef, I have become SO invested. When I heard Kendrick will be headlining the Super Bowl, my first thought was, “OH GOSH WHAT IS JEN GOING TO SAY ABOUT THIS!?” and Jen, you have delivered! Deep, insightful, brilliant. For all your hip hop needs - tune in weekly to this fine program. #PrayforLilWayne

Eileen93Loofa OutburstsJen, I had a horrible morning the other week and I get in my car, and your podcast automatically turns on when my phone connects to Bluetooth from when I had been listening the night prior. Within 30 seconds, you had me cracking up about how no one watches your YouTube and I felt my bad morning fade into the distance. A bit later in the drive, listening to breakthrough, I am literally having outbursts of laughter as you liken your fried bangs to a loofa. I’m laughing as a type this. I was laughing so hard, I had to close my eyes and probably shouldn’t have been driving… And for the rest of the day, whenever my mind would be free for a moment, it would wander to the image of a hair loofa and I would start loling again. The gift of laughter was such a blessing… I told so many people about the bang story as if you’re a friend and it was mine to share. SO sorry about your hair but thanks for spinning it in a way to make others laugh. 💕

Kels Y.JEN IS BLOWING MY MIND WITH THIS HOT FIRE CONTENT🔥🔥🔥Every podcast episode the set up and intro catches me off guard and I question how Jen is going to spin it. She NEVER disappoints. It literally opens my eyes to a lot of things I didn’t realize I needed to know about myself. Please keep producing podcast episodes, Jen!!! You inspire many with your humor and your unique insight on the world. I look forward to it every week (or even now binge listening to episodes I have missed from being in survival mode). I hope you plan close by me soon! I’ve always wanted to see your comedy live. KEEP SLAYING QUEEN🔥How is your podcast free?!

Travis the turtleYOU ARE COMING TO PHOENIXAs soon as you said the word Phoenix I ran (and then metaphorically) to buy a tickets. Then I thought I should wait and run it by my husband, whose phone I borrowed to write this review, and he was confused that I hadn’t already bought the ticket. Thank you for your amazing podcast and greetings from the Catholic Ghetto. Love MarMar
-
csandkcHow is all this hot fire content free?EVERY time you talk about village life, it makes so much more sense than the crazy trad roles people try to stuff moms and other women into. In a village, all of us are encouraged to use our strengths, and we can build interdependence. Thank you for your humor, awesome comedy specials, and food for thought in your podcast!
-
rayburn soundJen, you’re the best. Thank you🌟Jen, Thank you for following your dream. I have as many questions about the fantasy football league as you have about the Iceland bus trip adventure. I have a lot of brothers and grew up around football but managed to remain fairly ignorant on the topic. Now I’m ready to dive into this Fantasy football thing with the fam, if you can’t beat em join em and Jen is doing it so why aren’t I, etc. so here’s my question Is it actually possible to have a fantasy football league for college teams or were you joking about that? I’m told by two sons that it’s for the nfl but I won’t believe it until you say it’s so. I didn’t even google this and my husband says he doesn’t know. Thanks and peace Clare in Ohio ♥️

Enoon13Jen is amazing!Jen’s podcast is the only podcast I listen to regularly. Five stars. Amazing. I get excited each week when a new episode is released anticipating what kind of new life lessons she’ll drop on us!!! Her more recent episodes where she dives into “unprocessed stress” and what to do about it have been particularly comforting and helpful for me. It’s not just your typical advice that can be found in any self help book, but rather Jens insights are realistic, uplifting, and easy to apply to your life. Jen talks a lot about motherhood, family life, and her career and I still find it super relatable even though I am single with no kids. Cannot recommend this podcast enough!
-
LesK12StLLeslieJen’s witty, truthful takes on the world and being a mom and woman in it has made the most impact on my life in this season of little kids and staying home and figuring out how to village hustle. THANK YOU for being a sane and funny voice amidst a bunch of schizophrenic messages directed at women especially!! Grateful for you!
-
MAH1013Totally Engrossing PodcastI was so enthralled by the the hot fire content in this podcast that while I was driving around listening to it last night I accidentally drove into a (mostly empty) construction site and had to do an 8-point turn to get out of there. Five stars.
-
Littleflower222Thank you for this weekJen, thank you so much for recording the podcast this week even though you didn’t feel like it. I really needed to hear the challenge to “level up.” On a separate note, I used your generators at the beginning of the year. My word was “embrace” and my saint is St. Catherine of Sweden, patroness against miscarriages. When I saw that, I thought, “gosh that’s funny because I have a newborn and definitely won’t be pregnant this year. Guess this is to help me heal from my first pregnancy that ended in loss.” Well, I recently found out that I am pregnant at 7.5 months postpartum (not even a cycle 0 baby, I’m just dumb). Today’s podcast is helping me think about the long game because gosh this is hard. 💪🏻

Essie LeSurNeurodivergent AngelHi Jen! I’m a hot violinist girl, girl boss (we do exist 😂😉❤️) who has learned so much about being a mom and a human being from your books, comedy, and of course podcast! Thank you for sharing your blue flame with all of us! My life has truly been blessed because of it. Most importantly of all, is true that listening to your podcast will make us all more hot! 🔥💃
-
@jennaycapJen gets it!!!I found this podcast almost 4 years ago. It is amazing. Jen shares hilarious and entertaining stories from her life, touching on current events and trends in the beginning and the wraps the podcast up with the most life conquering tips out there. I found Jen and this podcast super early in my mothering career - there’s no way my first born was more than a few months when I began listening- and I know have 3, all 4 and under. It’s amazing to have Jen on the other side of this “gremlin” stage sharing about the crazy things that happened, how she got through it, and how she continues to get through it. Jen is realistic and gives us all permission to just eat a full bag of Doritos when we need to, because it’s survival mode. She gives us permission to put Netflix on for our kids because we weren’t meant to do this parenting thing without a community. Jen, I’m so sorry it took me so long to actually write a review, and thank you for blazing the path ahead of me - and literally burning it down - giving me the permission to push myself to grow creatively in the midst of raising a young family. Thank you for producing this podcast week after week and among the huge hurdles that life keeps throwing at you. You have no idea just how much your advice has guided me and so many other moms in the Catholic Ghetto. Pong on!
-
MariaLJ2007Big fans near you!Jen, I’m in Austin for a couple days and I decided to take a chance and ask if my mom and I could meet you for lunch?!?! We love listening to your podcast and a couple weeks ago you talked about taking a chance to meet the people you want to meet so we understand if you’re busy but wanted to give it a shot🩷🩷🩷

Tip on M&TWords of wisdomThank you for your words of wisdom in episode 122. Every family is different and not everything works for every family. I feel judged by screen time but know that you empathize.

Ace6608Five stars, amazing, I'm obsessed with Jen, exactly what I needed, I could go on for infinityJen. Thank you, thank you, thank you for proving to me that you can be a (mostly) responsible adult and still be fun and weird, a heck of a mom but still crush it at pursuing your dreams, and a devout catholic but still a completely normal modern human being. Tbh, I want to DOWNLOAD YOUR ENTIRE WORLDVIEW ONTO A USB DRIVE AND PLUG IT INTO MY BRAIN. (I’ll even tolerate the Taylor Swift fan part) I guess I'll just have to wait for neuralink *sigh* jk jk I'm 16, a tomboy, a wild extrovert, and have a bad addiction to attempting overly ambitious projects and Catholic ghetto opinions were beginning to make me worry about whether life after college would be any fun but you are giving proof that IT CAN AND WILL BE. And btw, as far as I'm concerned, you can add ‘teen idol’ to your list of achievements. Just promise me one thing: you'll still be podcasting in a decade or two when I'm actually pulling off the village hustle instead just theorizing now. I think the first podcast I listened to was the one about being creative when you feel like trash, and you had me hooked on ‘maybe my muse was just drunk.’ 🤣 You have a talent for explaining stuff/ giving advice in the most practical and fun way possible. You say everything that I think and want to believe but that my cynical side needed extra confirmation on. A couple of comments: -Your episode on the Harrison Butker speech was one of your BEST EVER. -After the trans episode, I must confess I half expected Katelyn to show up in a full nun costume on the next one just for the heck of it. -Alsoooo… any chance they'll be more rap beef talk coming up? Anyways, slay, Jen, slay.

Annie Dhaliwal*LONG WINDED REVIEW*I’m a first generation homeschool mom of five kids (ranging from 9-newborn). Before kids I was going down the “empowered women must be career women” path imposed on me by my extended family and culture at large. By the grace of God, 6 months into marriage I found myself unexpectedly pregnant with my daughter and my reluctant plans to go to dental school got derailed. Since then I’ve been on an ever evolving path of motherhood, homeschooling, and finding my blue flame in other areas of my life. Coming across Jen’s book One Beautiful Dream was incredibly affirming for me and made a huge impact on my attitude towards being a stay at home mom and not losing myself in the process. ANYWAYS: finding Jen’s podcast has been really delightful for me. We have different temperaments and I REALLY appreciate her perspective on many aspects of family life, especially her perspective on homeschooling. Catholic Homeschool culture/ living in this crazy world can lead me to be fearful of any sort of technology for my kids (understandably). Jen had an amazing perspective she shared about staying relational with your children in order to help them navigate through their inevitable experiences with things that clash with our family values, which is exactly what I have always wanted to do. Hearing someone else echo a perspective I held but hadn’t seen in the Catholic sphere at large was very affirming. Also: Jen (since I know you’re going to read this!) thank you for encouraging me to not be freaked out by my kids having a love of tech. I was so anxious about my kids having their kindles that can record videos and drawings. Since hearing you articulate your view that they can find their passion through one of these mediums, I’ve eased up emotionally and have found myself delighted when they show me the intricate drawings they’ve worked on in their drawing app (instead of panicking that they’re not “really learning to draw”) and my daughter has even decided to make her own comic book because I was letting her read those awful “Bad Kitty” books (which she checked out from her Libby App). ANYWAYS. Ranting. This podcast is a gem and Jen provides a fresh perspective that helps temper the extreme voices in my head telling me I need to things a certain way or else it’s wrong. I hope to one day get to meet you and go to one of your shows. COME TO SACRAMENTO. Anyways. God bless you!
