Learn Levantine Arabic with Livi

A new podcast for intermediate and advanced students of Levantine Arabic which encourages you to speak confidently and not worry about making mistakes. Each episode includes an interview with a native Arabic speaker, exploring a range of topics and introducing new vocabulary. Livi, the presenter, is not a native speaker, so each week, the native speaker will help her out with her pronunciation and correct any errors she makes.

It is so difficult to find a Arabic language learning pod. I’ve traveled to Palestine and Jordan. I really enjoy this pod format. My only feedback would be if you could increase the font size of the Arabic writing. I like to practice the words while hearing them being spoken. Thank you.

Looove this Podcast

I’m half Lebanese and speak a bit of Arabic. This podcast is amazing. It has introduced new vocabulary to me, since my Arabic isn’t very formal. However this podcast is educational and structured, yet also fun, relaxing and entertaining to listen to. I love the topics so far. Please continue to make more episodes! Great job and thanks for making this podcast!!

First episode

I just finished listening to the first episode. The format was excellent and the content was highly relevant for a change. I am an advanced Arabic speaker but having lived abroad for so long and in a country where there are very few Arabic speakers, this podcast helped me a lot in keeping in practice without having to go to typical sources that can be hard to follow. Thank you and please keep going!!!

Like nothing else out there

Please keep up with this show - being able to to hear the way a native and nonnative speaker modulate their speech to be mutually comprehensible in authentic daily speech is one of the most helpful learning tools I’ve ever come across! This podcast has renewed my motivation in Arabic and I will be sharing it with every peer and professor who will listen.
