I love learning languages and would do it full-time were it not for my job..haha Benny's help over the years has been instrumental in my Spanish learning and now I'm working on French. This podcast is great to remind you about differetn approaches and tools to help and progress your language learning at any level! Benny and Shannon are just great. Thanks and keep it up!!!

My favorite language learning podcast!! They always bring on exciting guests and come up with the most interesting interview questions. My favorite part of every episode is when the hosts share their personal takeaways at the end. Fantastic work!

I really enjoyed the interview with Manuel from Herr Professor. It was great to hear the insights and history behind his language learning program. I am a current student in his course and subscribe to the coaching calls. It absolutely fits my busy life and fully endorse it!

Interesting and practical approach to French language and culture. Too often the link between the two is ignored in language learning. Some great insights which lift the veil on a much maligned nation.

The podcast is super informational and inspiring. I love hearing people’s different journeys to learning a language and hearing how they overcame their struggles.

I love how the guests all have different things to share. Not everything said resonates with me as a language learner, but I can pick out what is helpful to me!

I keep finding myself ‘stealing’ hacks from every episode. Benny is always a joy, and I love Shannon’s ability to connect with guests!

I really look forward to every episode! What i love about it the most is that it really motivates me to keep going in my language learning. (Italian and German consistently, and I occasionally dabble in others). I love talking about language, but this podcast goes beyond “chit chat” and really gives actionable tips from interviews with passionate language learners. I also love to hear about what motivates others and their language stories. Well done!

Fluent In 3 Months has so many resources and this podcast is just another wonderful added resource. Various techniques to help you achieve your language learning goals are put forth with simple explanations for anyone of any age. If you’re trying to learn a new language or restart one you put off, this is definitely the podcast for you!

The Language Hacking podcast gives very very useful advice and practical guidance on our language learning path! And it also has a high entertainment value, I don’t miss a single one!

I have already had contact with this Fluent in Three Months team over the years—both in exploring the excellent website and all its resources, as well as participating in the stunningly helpful Fluent in Three Months Challenges. These podcasts add another dimension to the intricately interesting world of new language acquisition, through interviews with learners, question and answer sessions, explorations of the lives and works of the founders of other language-learning enterprises, and more. They are well-paced, excellently produced, and highly motivating. The information for each podcast provided on the podcast website is thorough, and extremely useful. My particular favorite so far is #9 “Peter Galante on Creating Podcasts in 34 Languages.” Utterly fascinating to know about the creator of Innovative Languages!

Host and guest descriptions of their own challenges and solutions to them are highly relatable, validating and helpful. Diverse approaches to time management, project breakdown, strategizing/prioritizing project goals, and overcoming psychological hurdles are all extremely helpful and applicable to most ANY project, not just a language-learning one. Casual, fun discussions full of helpful, actionable nuggets. A great one to have on while doing pretty much anything.

These podcasts are great because they have real people sharing their stories of learning multiple languages. This gives me the encouragement I need to make real progress.

Currently, I’m taking my second jab at learning Spanish, and have learned Italian in the past while traveling. These are very relevant stories for learners of all levels with varying life styles, and therefore varying obstacles. Looking forward to future guest stories and experiences.

Not specific enough. Would like to see more examples. Also think they are putting them out too fast, a podcaster rookie mistake. These episodes work better as occasional supplements. Just my opinion. I like the hosts.

I’m enjoying this podcast so much, I can’t wait for the next episode. It has been tremendously encouraging for my language learning. I tuned in for the 2nd episode when I was in a funk and not wanting to do anything. By the end of the show I was ready to jump in and study again. It was a wonderful show. Thanks so much for all your uplifting encouragement. Keep it up.

Benny really makes learning language fun :)

Always find Benny and his methods interesting. Would like to hear more about maintenance of languages learned to stay up on the level, etc. Also the crown jewel of learning 2 languages at once. Keep up the good work!

Just listened to episode 1with Scott Young. I loved hearing about people's real expereinces with language learning. Will be inspiring and helpful to many!

Interesting approach to learning languages

George Mallory is quoted as answering why he climbed Mt. Everest with, “Because it’s there.” And that’s why Scott learns things—particularly languages. He, along with Benny Lewis, is a powerful inspiration as I work to learn Dutch. So many worthy insights. I realize now why my 10-month trip to Israel as a young man didn’t result in fluent Hebrew—even with a half day of language class. I wasn’t immersed or focused. I spoke English all day. Scott’s enthusiastic, amusing presentation makes me feel like fluency is possible. He makes you want to study more—and shows how immersion is possible even if you can’t leave home. Scott + Benny = fun and success

I just listened to episode one with guest speaker Scott, and those are some great tips. I’ve noticed that when I pick and choose when to speak a language, I can easily go off track so I think I’ll give this a try and only speak the target language when speaking with someone who can also speak that language. I’ve been using Benny’s Language Hacking books and love them! I’m sure these podcasts will be just as useful for my language learning!

I loved the discussion re: the social anxiety aspect of learning a language. I’m trying to learn French (I have your book Benny!) and this really made me feel it’s ok to relax a bit.
