courtmartialConciseQuick, informational, and to the point but a bit dry…used to have funny quote intro but even that’s gone…still a good victim advocating pod

Leah JNSo glad I found ypu!Apple podcasts suggested your show and I was immediately hooked from the first episode I listened to As a stereotypical American, I love your accent, but I also love that you focus on cases I’m not gonna hear on other podcasts. Keep up the good work!

Khloeu2Conversational styleI really enjoy his interviews

IsGi Dlove itlove how there’s not many ads and it’s to the point. Accent is great too! Also keep the disclaimers about abuse to animals coming so important
-
who WhittOne of the bestI love the way Stu covers the cases! You are quick, witty, and compassionate. And I adore your accent and I appreciate that you explain some of the different vocabulary to us from the US. Keep up the good work, I'm so glad I stumbled upon your podcast, I often listen to it on my 2 hour work commute. Thank you and XOXO!!!

kimberly from TexasOne of the best…I’ve been listening to true crime podcasts for the past 7+ years and I’m not sure how I missed this one. Luckily, I came across it a couple of months ago and soon found myself bingeing the old episodes and seasons. The research is thorough, delivery is succinct and informative and Stu shows true compassion for the victims in a kind and respectful manner. I do love the “Cheerio” at the end of each episode and can’t wait for new episodes to drop. Please keep up the good work you’re doing highlighting lesser known but equally important stories. Cheers from across the pond. 👏🏻

Mblank70Best podcast ever...Stu, I’ve been listening for a couple of years now. My wife, baby and I listen while we’re talking walks in the neighborhood. We found your show by chance, and became absolutely addicted to it. I love your accent, as well as your objective manner of delivering the story. Your matter of fact approach and soothing voice and simple delivery make your podcast my favorite. I hope to share a beer with you one day when we venture across the pond. Keep up the outstanding work.

TPCansuEnjoying PodcastsStu - Hello from Nevada (America), I came across your podcast and went through all seasons entirely too fast. Your soothing voice and respect to the victims is unmatched with others I’ve listened to. I have always watched true crime programs for years (just to keep myself aware) and figured out better to listen rather then sit in a couch or chair watching. Your podcast gets me through yard or house work. I unfollowed many podcasts (Seeing Red, Small town Murders, etc.) because they became political which many only citing mainstream media verses researching all sides of a story. I really enjoy your research and eventually did enjoy Bobby’s but since she is on sabbatical I wait for your next episode. Keep up the great insights and respect and please keep politics out of them.

Kate from ‘ SconnieThree Cheers & Five StarsGreetings from Wisconsin - US of A Stuart! As a lifelong lover of all things British, thanks to your podcast, I can now add British murders to my list of things that fascinate me about your lovely country and history. I been listening for a while now, and I just want to tell you how much I enjoy the Pod - I have probably recommended your Pod to 100 others! It wasn’t really needed, but your work has continued to improve with every passing season, Stuart. I really appreciate you and your work, Stuart. It's so inspiring to know that on top of your full time job, Daddy duty, and footballing, you have the energy to share your passion for British murders with the world. I need to stop being a Free Loader and slide you a few quid of support! With my gratitude, Kate from Wisconsin - Cheese & Beer Capital of the good ole’ US of A. Finally, here is a cheeky smiley face for you! 🙂

Moose rock!Moose! You’ve got a great podcast and who knew, to my delight, that you’d ever bring up moose?!? I have an absurd fascination of moose, I honestly don’t know why. So, in addition to listening to your intriguing tales of UK true crime, I enjoyed a sort of personal shout out! Thanks Stu! Lisa Druge (rhymes with rouge)

artlenock2From a brit and a yank…Me and my girlfriend have listened to your podcasts for the last two summers, as we travel North to Alaska from Florida. In 2019, on our first trip North together, there were two mysterious deaths, in South Dakota, three murders in British Columbia, and an accident that resulted in a death in Alaska, all of which took place within hours of us driving along our travel route. All of the events were explained or solved by the local police, but having only met my girlfriend a few months earlier, and this being our first long road trip together, by the second event, i was sleeping with one eye open :) Keep up the great podcasts!!!

llerred3🤔Is Stuart arrogant!?(・_・;?I’m such a simp for a UK accent I honestly don’t know. Has Stuart been talking down to us lowly Americans this whole time❓❔❓I suppose ignorance is bliss because I’ll happily digest as much belittling as Stuart dares to dish out. I enjoy this podcast so much with the only caveat being there’s a finite amount & eventually I’ll run out. Poor me. Every reviewer praises his straightforward approach to storytelling but I lament the episodes not being longer. Thank god for the waffling. Anywho, the “arrogant” question was just in response to a review you read that really tickled you & I had to comment on it. I’m saddened when listeners don’t respond well to hosts. Not for the sake of the host mind you, I’m sure they can take it, but for the listeners sake who obviously isn’t getting my level of enjoyment out of the podcast. I’ve listened to my share of TrueCrime podcasts, many of which I’ve unsubscribed to but Stuart…yours is a keeper. Thanx & keep up the amazing work. 👍🏿

obfus44LOVE this podcastAn enjoyable listen
-
narkotik1958Bro!Stuart nails it when it comes to true crime and seems like a guy who would do well hanging out with my crew of old miscreants!!
-
SidgatesFound a new fav!Snarky, informative and great flow, definitely recommend, especially to those outside UK as these are mostly crimes I have not heard of before.
-
Old hookerReviewWell written and interesting with an excellent flow. Since I listen to several US and UK podcasts, I really appreciate that Stewart covers quite a few lesser known cases that haven’t been covered by other podcasts. I like the short format because I don’t have to block out time or stop and resume listening as I do with longer podcasts. Very enjoyable.

scubagrl67AwesomenessStuart love the podcast . Thanks for the informative podcast . It’s what I listen to when I’m typing a large report at work . You are helping to make the time go by faster. Plus I have a tender place in my heart for a northern accent 🙂. “Fill your boots “

OrdkyxtaktLike having a friend in the car with meListening to Stuart is the best part of my commute. His podcast stay straight to the facts and are easy to follow. His voice is calm and relaxing and the accent is delightful!

P.TwoBearsJ Malton interview AMAZING… & such a relief to have some more meat in an episode. I get it that the point is to be short & pithy— but story time that’s less than 25 min makes it hard to listen to *b/c we have to get through the intro and exit & ads on every single one. Becomes not worth it & irritating when too short. Keep the format but give us a standard in 30 minutes at least per episode.
-
Shrewsbury ChristyGreat PodcastI’m a US person who has spent the greater part of the last 8 years going back and forth to the UK. Stuart has a great voice, great accent, and sense of humor. Finding this podcast during the pandemic was great when I couldn’t travel across the pond. Stuart discusses darker content but delivers it in an interesting way by looking at the psychology of it and also presents interesting facts about the legal system in the UK.
-
Brit NanAwesome showI’m an Expat living in Chicago, I just found your podcast. I want to say what a fantastic, listening experience I’ve been having for the past three weeks.

Kelly White RNLove this pod castAs an American from Fuquay Varina North Carolina ( just wanted to hear Stuart pronounce Fuquay Varina 😂) I love all things true crime and all things British! I love the facts about the locations for each episode so I can learn more about the amazing country I hope to visit someday! Stuart is funny especially when he is not sure about his pronunciations and laughs at himself. Keep up the great work Stuart and I will keep listening!
-
SippingSnappedAwesome Podcast!!Excellently researched and very informative podcast! LOVE your accent! We here in the US of A are new fans of yours! Keep up the great work! Cheers! ❤️🔪🍺

Kateb417Best UK True Crime Podcast!I finally finished all seasons. You can definitely hear Stuarts growth from the beginning until now. Always short and succinct. While waffling does get longer the more comfortable he gets you can always skip it if your not into it. Love the accent and the attempt at others. Great listening and lightens the tough topics a bit. Do another group one like the Chris Benoit episode!
-
AlexRa24Favorite True Crime PodcastThis is easily my favorite podcast! The ice breakers before each story are a great addition. I lived in the UK for a year, so find it especially interesting to hear the background info on the cities in each episode. He has a great way of making the show entertaining, but also stays respectful to the tragedies that have happened. Much love from Cincinnati, Ohio! *A case that would be interesting to cover is murderess Mary Ann Cotton (1870s).
-
JarquisbEnglish crime retold en pointe!Love this podcast. Keeps me company whilst I’m gardening in sunny Northern California. Love to hear the English accent, so concise and the dry sense of humour Stuart has. (So lost on that American reviewer😁) Plenty of facts but brief and to the point. Love it!
-
K_a_i_tFound on accident now I can’t stop listeningI found this podcast after finishing up one of my regular podcasts and love listening to these while working please keep making them also love the cross over episodes

Yummers88Calling all True Crime & Anglophiles! This is my #1 podcast! Stuart Blues is a wonderful storyteller with a lovely voice that’s easy to listen to! Also, just heard him on my other my other favorite True Crime/History pod, “Kinda Murdery.” Stuart is amazing. If you love his show, check out Kinda Murdery too!
-
Todd HedgesVery well done!!I recently found this podcast recommended by my friend Zevon Odelberg and a few episodes in, I’m already hooked. Stuart does a great job of telling the story, adding some humor and some other extra content. Keep up the great work and much success to you!! Todd / Co-host Middle Aged And Creeped Out podcast

ears in the back of my headSooo ArrogantDude is funny, but the superior “UK is so much better than the US” attitude is unhip and immature. Hopefully his attitude will be more sophisticated about the world when he gets older. Three stars instead of four due to his weirdo inferiority complex about the US. Shut it dude, it’s so embarrassing.
-
BankAddictGreat true crime podcastI am really enjoying this podcast! Recently discovered it and can’t stop! Well researched, short and to the point, and yet packed with details. Host is easy to listen to and seems very mindful of the victims! Great work! ☮️❤️ Aida from San Francisco.
-
brainzmatterI triedReally wanted to like this show, but it’s just too long on introductory chitchat and too short on the subject matter with too much personal comment interjected into the telling. Heinous crimes speak for themselves without such asides. There is potential here, with some editing and less vanity it could be worthwhile. In my view, the best true crime comes from the host being a narrator of a well written script rather than a wannabe chat show or audio blog. Cheers to those who like this format, it’s not for me. It’s like listening to a Facebook page.
-
Zack DerbyAnother favorite true crime podcastEach episode is packed with information about the crime, everything leading up to it and aftermath. Stuart has a very soothing voice and puts a lot of detail into this series. A+
-
ardent-armadillaI love listening to this podcastI knit and listen, haven’t seen the YouTube, and am really enjoying everything about this podcast; the host, his voice, the content.

-
TriscuitnutExcellent and conciseI listen to over 10 true crime podcasts, and this is in my top three. I like it so much that I became a Patreon. He doesn’t mess about with needless talk or silly banter, and the cases are always interesting.
-
StenoJozFantasticThis is a not-drawn-out, concise, well-investigated and reported podcast. Stuart is great to listen to, and he does a fabulous job of keeping it short and to the point, all while being informative and laying out the whole picture super well. Great listen to learn about well and lesser known UK murders. Great for me in the USA, as I’ve not heard of most of these before. Truly great podcast. Highly recommend!
-
SiscilyMExcellent!I love this podcast. Stuart is fantastic at presenting stories of British murderers in such a way that there's plenty of information without it being overloaded with details. His accent (to an American) is a plus! And I love his happy little 'cheerio!' at the end of every episode after talking about some really demented and sometimes disgusting people. It's so great!
-
Lisa David OlsonSuper podcast! The host has a great voice. The stories and pacing are well done and interesting. Please keep adding more!
-
KelsBarCan’t get enough of true crime1. It’s so nice to hear about stories I haven’t heard yet. Over here in the US these aren’t stories that ever get told really. 2. Doesn’t spend an hour talking about things that don’t have anything to do with the topic. 3. Tells the story well and easy to follow. 4. The accent certainly helps me want to listen more. 😉😊

BLH519True Crime Fan here!I’m loving British Murders! As an American, I enjoy hearing these British crimes I’ve never heard before! Not to mention listening to Stuart’s soothing British accent.
