    Excellent podcast!
Great guests who share amazing insights. I would like to suggest Sadhguru is a future guest. I’m sure he would do it since Jim has so many followers as does Sadhguru. Would be a great combo!

    Jim’s Best Work
I’ve been listening to the Jim Rome Show for 30 years and love it. So I do not say this lightly when I say that this podcast is the best of Jim’s work. I cannot stress how motivated and down to do the work I get after each episode. Lots of love to you Pimp in the Box. Thank you for being courageous enough to put this together and share from within yourself. This podcast has visibly changed my (already charmed) life. Love & Sandwiches, Ike

    A Self-Development Gem
The Reinvention Project with Jim Rome is a facinating podcast with practical and appliable advice. As is his super-power, Rome asks direct, insightful, and challenging questions of his guests. He’s genuine in his interest and passion for finding answers to some of life’s most important questions. This leads to honest conversations with Rome’s vulnerability opening up his guests making them more relatable and helpful. I’m a former sportscaster turned life-coach and I believe Rome is at his best in this role (hosting The Reinvention Project.) This podcast is for anyone feeling stuck and seeking life-enhancing wisdom from those who have put in the research and done the work applying their knowledge to their own lives. And of course, Rome’s talents elevate this pod beyond others with similar goals.

    Goleta to Reinvented
Been a fan since UCSB-Goleta days . The journey of reinvention and this pod has been a focus, motivation, and coaching tool in business , parenting , and personal development . Taking the passion from sports and channeling that energy in making the next 30 years greater than the journey from Santa Barbara over the last 30 has elevated Jim from entertainer to impact leader!

    Wow
Years ago, I was a fan of The Jim Rome Show, but over time fell away from listening to his sports program. I happened to stumble upon this show and can’t say enough about it. Just wow! It shows an entirely different side to Jim. This show is all about real, compassionate, and raw talk, that challenges and supports the listener. So well done! One of my favorite podcasts.

    Perfect Timing
Rome!!! Out Freaking Standing material! This couldn’t have come along at a better time. Not only is the content game changing, The Reinvention Project is life changing! For me, personally, this has become my new drive in life. The timing was right because my wife past 1 year and nine months ago and I have been drifting along with no direction. ALL identities I had were ripped away accept one, father to 3 daughters. My day starts with a walk and an episode from the RP podcast. You have created a growth lifestyle focused with an obsession with becoming the best version of me finding anything that will create growth, self awareness, and improvement! Thank you for the challenge! Side note: check out the content from Mike Foster and his book, The Seven Primal Questions. Keep CRUSHING LIFE!!! Jack

Just saying the words out loud for SOMETHING that makes you happy and you will become happier. Greg gets it. And so does Jim. Listen to it. Great stories, practical advice.

    Reinvention Project
The Reinvention Project is inspiring and always contains a nugget of gold than can be summarized in a few words, like “Mood follows action”. Each guest views hardship as something to learn from and there is a common thread of gratitude and service to others. I look forward to each episode.

    Not just for sports fans
This podcast is for everyone and all ages. I’ve shared it with all my friends, sports fans or not. If you are looking for self improvement, self awareness, and proof of what people are capable of, this is for you. I’ve listened to every episode, many more than once.

    Steve Weatherford episode
I started recently listening to the Reinvention Project and it’s fabulous but this episode has been the most compelling so far. I have listened to the Jim Rome show for years but I think this podcast is so timely and relevant.

    The. Best.
As a mid 50’s guy this podcast hits home in a major way. I am loving every episode and getting nuggets every time I listen. Yes, I was a Jungle fan back in the day but this is nothing like that sports talk show. There are not even very many sports references and the guests are from all facets of life. By far my favorite podcast!

    World class conversations
I’ve been listening to Jim since 1998 from H-town. He has a phenomenal way of making an interview feel like a a conversation, and the personal angle that goes with every guest makes it that much more appealing. The mindset aspect of life is truly the most important, and Jim does an incredible job of highlighting those aspects. Thank you Jim, and keep up the great work! Awesome
Love Jim and his guests. The messages are digestible and concise. I am going through a difficult time personally and finding this podcast has been so helpful. I love the message of “simple but not easy,” which is so very true. And, yes, Jim, write the book! I’ll prebuy it. 🙂

    Life Changing
I grew up listening to Jim Rome’s radio show. I loved it. Then when he parted ways with Travis Rodgers I thought he lost something and shortly thereafter I stopped listening to him. I stumbled upon this podcast because of a guest he had, and I am glad I did. With very few exceptions, these conversations and guests are life-changing. Inspired talks meant to help you unlock mental toughness and the focus to accomplish your goals. I can’t recommend this podcast enough.

    Powerful Stuff
Wow Jim, I’m sorry it took me so long to dive into this new venture of yours. From Mylett to Holiday (all I’ve gotten too so far), I cannot belief how powerful, electrifying, inspiring, and transformative these people are. After each listen, I change my mind and say “Now that’s the true formula” (until I hear the next one). The truth is, they are all on to something, and significant parts of each of their stories, can be used to make substantive, positive, live altering, changes in ones life. I am so grateful for you, your amazing interviewing skills to extract their stories, and all the work you do to bring us one gem after another. Keep up the fabulous work. Thank you, Scott in LA (Clone for life since Scrub Saturday’s)

    Compelling invitation
Thanks so much for your consistent quality work. It is challenging and motivating for me to do and live my very best life. I loved the the line from episode 53, “strict with yourself, tolerant with others”. Love the line but falling short on the tolerance part. That’s okay cuz here comes the “reset”.

    It’s all within us
I’m a 57 year old CPA and USA Ski Hall of Fame skier looking to figure out how to use the gifts I’ve been given in life to leave this world a bit better than before I got here. The JR Reinvention pod cast is really a tool that is connecting all the dots in my life to accomplish that mission. The messages in these interviews breed reflection on past experiences in my life that are allowing me to look ahead and plan to utilize everything “here and now” to complete the mission. This pod is one of the most inspirational and educational platforms available to bring it all together to reinvent for a better future! Awesome stuff!!

Each episode is filled with inspiration, motivation, and strategies that can easily be implemented. Jim is magical in the way that he interviews each amazing guest and highlights key learnings along the way. He also shares authentic updates on his own journey of reinvention. I am getting a ton out of the podcast and highly recommend it to everyone. Great work and thank you, Jim!

    Reinvention a it’s best!
I’m so glad that Rome reinvented himself with this podcast because he’s giving us the gift of so many more brilliant interviews. I remember listening to Rome in the early 90’s on Xtra sports 690 in San Diego. He was just getting started and I knew he would be successful. Thank you Jim for continuing to bring it with the interviews!

From Felon to PhD with Rome
I’ve been listening to Rome since I was a 20-something dude in the Texas penitentiary. 15 years later, as I work toward my PhD, I’m inspired by his desire to reinvent, to constantly improve, and to make these next years the best of his life. Me too, JR. The podcast is helping me as much as it helps you. Let’s get it!!!!!

Hey Jim, Really enjoys these and I prefer the podcast format. Not sure I would read a book or stream the content, as I like the ability to consume these while I’m running errands, working out, etc. Love all the guests you had thus far, keep it rolling. B

    Perfect Timing
Long time, first time. I am a recovering addict, and recently lost my second parent, searching for a new identity and a new mission. The best way to break old habits is to create new ones, and I have been listening to one of these pods everyday through this most difficult time. Meditating and reflecting on all the INCREDIBLE content has set the foundation for me to set new standards and reinvent myself. Thank you, Jim, and thanks to all your guests who choose hard every day to make themselves and others better. I hope this pod never ends.

    Glad I Tuned In
In 2020, I tuned out all sports because I didn't need the politics. Sports was one my escape and now that was taken from me too. In late 2021, I came back to sports to escape the world once again. I've been a clone since 1993 and tuned back into Rome just a couple months ago. He was pimping this podcast so I gave it a listen. I just finished up Ep 3 and I'm hooked. I'm a couple years younger than Rome and at a transitional time of my life. This podcast couldn't have come at a better time. Thanks for doing this Jim.

    Reinvention Is Possible
Years ago I stumbled upon Jim Rome’s sports radio show. What I found was nothing but smack. Unless you had an approved degradation of a person, profession, or event, you simply “sucked” and was systematically humiliated by the host. Nothing positive on sports, merely listeners trying to hack on each other to win the approval of the host. As fate would have it, I “re-stumbled” upon this podcast searching for interviews involving Navy SEAL Mark Divine. I was hesitant to listen, but was intrigued by the title. Was he truly interested in reinventing himself? If Mark Divine was willing to speak with him, I needed to give him an opportunity to see if his title matched his content. I was also impressed that Ryan Holiday was a guest along with many other SEAL’s as I have become a student of stoic philosophy and SEAL principles. I have listened to three episodes so far and must congratulate Mr. Rome on his quest. People do change and I believe this podcast is a testament to that fact. The content is solid and the host exhibits a level of humility surprised me. Well done, Mr. Rome. I wish you continued success in your personal quest to help others discover their untapped potential.

    Timing is EVERYTHING pt 3
….kids (one of which is special needs), and finding the time to get on that path of recovery has been a challengin task. However, these past few months have started to open up a bit and ease off, allowing me to have some time each night to listen to certain podcasts and read more books. We're talking the likes of Simon Sinek, Jon Gordon, Dr Paul Jenkins, and others. THEN comes this flash across the screen......"The Reinvention Project with Jim Rome". Of course I click on it because I've been a fan/listerner since 99' and was really curious about what you were up to. Jim, it's literally one of THE BEST 'mouse clicks' I've ever executed. Sound corny, but it's TRUE. I just finished episode 15, Dr. Michael Gervais (after listening to it 3 times in a row; ep 1-13 we're all back-to-back listens as well). This is EXACTLY what I needed, Jim. I recognized that I was trying to recover and re-energize some of the pillars in my life, but hearing your approach, philosophy, reasonings, and personal stories of why you're doing this, it all made sense to me. I realized that I too need to 'reinvent' myself. Like you I want the next 30 years to be the BEST 30 years. I want to go back to the basics and really find out 'WHO' I am and what I want from life, from being a husband, a father, and someone who can be a conduit of positivity and hope for others. Your words, the words of your guests, and the personal notes that I'm taking, has put me in the same ballpark as yourself. It's a happy place for me. My mind is thriving each time I listen to an episode and take note. It's helping me create the pallet in which the changes I want and need, are GOING to happen; perhaps sooner than later. So THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU! ~RB~
