I loved Homer's Odyssey and the followup as well. When I found out that Gwen had a podcast, I just had to listen to it! I love Gwen's interviews with cat experts and authors, as well as hearingabout her daily life with her own cats. I'm a huge fan of this podcast, keep up the great work, Gwen! I'm a huge fan of Homer, Scarlet, Vashti, Clayton and Fannie.

This was truly an amazing book ! I enjoyed reading it I wasn’t able To put it down ! I would recommend this book to Anyone who is a cat lover !

I have known Gwen Cooper for over fifteen years, but I feel like I’m meeting her fresh by listening to Curl Up With a Cat. She just gets funnier, warmer, and more relevant with the pandemic. This is my favorite podcast on iTunes and she gives so much of her time and money to shelters and the community of people who love cats.

I love listening to this podcast. Having always loved cats, I can relate to most of the stories shared. I do laugh though when the guess sheepishly admits to having a lot of cats and then says they have 7. I’ve had over 15 cats most of the time since 1985 and I never actively look for them, they come to me or a friend finds them and calls me. A few times I have adopted from shelters, usually cats that are “unadoptable”. I do love hearing the stories of fellow cat lovers and recommend this podcast to anyone who loves our furry feline overlords!

Gwen Cooper is the perfect guide to the world of cats for both cat lovers and those who might be interested in this world. Her style is breezy and very easy to listen to. She tells stories about the cats such as Homer that readers know from her books. She also discusses topics relating to the behavior of cats and how best to take care of them. I plan to listen to this every week!

I love love love this book. As the servant to my 3 cats, I can relate to so many of the things Gwens cats’ve done, and which she writes about in such amusing way. Gwen’s a fantastic writer, and her talent as a writer truly shines thru in this book, as well as her previous books, of which I own multiple copies. I love her books so much that if, gawd forbid, there was ever a fire here, I’d select her books, plus my cats, as the things I’d make sure to save from the flames. Long may you write, Gwen!

I’ve never written any type of review but feel compelled in this instance to do so. Been a fan of Gwen Cooper since Homer came out and was intrigued when heard about the podcast. Normally I listen to podcasts about current events which over the last year has been about COVID and politics which mostly brought lots of worries but this podcast makes me smile from ear to ear as I drive to and from work each day which has been a wonderful antidote to what is going on in the world. If you love cats and appreciate the pure joy that they can bring to your life, you will love this podcast!

I don’t normally listen to podcasts, maybe one other one, but when I heard the Gwen Cooper was doing one, I immediately jumped in on it. I love Gwen Cooper’s books and to finally put a voice to the name is just amazing for me. I will be reading her books all over again. She is a tru animal lover and for that I am very grateful for. I’ve been a huge fan of Gwen Cooper for many years so I was very excited that she was starting a podcast. It’s as enjoyable to listen to her as it is to read her books. After the first few episodes, I feel like I could listen to her for hours. She is so naturally entertaining. I’ve laughed and smiled at numerous points during each episode. It’s the perfect podcast for cat lovers!

I have read all of Gwen’s cat books and am enjoying her podcasts as well. I laughed out loud at the story about the guy who mistook her book for the Odyssey by Homer. (With a giant picture of a cat on the cover!) She tells many touching and funny stories and has interesting interviews as well. A really informative and fun show. We even get to hear Clayton snore! Gwen Cooper's podcasts are cozy fun, just like her novels! These cat-centric tales would win over the most hard-hearted curmudgeon. Some authors are duds when it comes to reading their own work, but not Gwen. Her warmth and wit shine through! Brava!

To listen to this podcast is so relaxing after a long day. I enjoy having other “ Cat people” tell me about their stories & experiences. I work outside the home but after work I feed my 8 feral colonies. I am very active in TNR ( Trap, Neuter, Release)and have not only get these vetted but I foster and adopt out ( after vetting)any kittens I find too. I feel like listening to Gwen is like talking to a friend.

Put your kitty cat headphones on and go for a walk listening to this adorable podcast. I’ve read most of Gwen’s books and feel like I know her cats almost as well as my own! I’ve been so board with all of my other podcasts and an thankful to have found this one to put a spring in my step and a smile in my heart. Uplifting and funny. I highly recommend it!

Gwen’s podcast is inviting and entertaining. It’s like having a chat with a friend over a cup of coffee. She speaks like she writes, colorful and descriptive. I enjoyed learning more about her personal life and her job with Rolling Stone Magazine. Gwen shares fun anecdotes and guests share their stories of heartwarming rescues. I’ve already binged the first four episodes and eagerly await the next.

I’ve loved all of Gwen’s cat themed books and now I get to listen to cat stories. I really enjoyed the two episodes I’ve listened to so far. Gwen has great stories about her current cats Clayton and Fanny as well as her cats from the past. I love the podcast guests! Just regular “cat” folks sharing their stories that cat people can relate to. Great job Gwen! I hope to keep listening as I begin to take my long walks outside this spring.

I love this episode! I laughed so hard when I listened to Gwen’s insomnia and cat-high-on-essential-oils-while-human-is-trying-to-sleep woes. I can totally relate! The episode made me smile the whole time I was listening.

I’ve read several of Gwen Cooper’s books and I love them! So tuning in to her podcast was a must. Gwen is a true storyteller; just listening to her is a treat and her descriptions of cats, life events and musings with her guests make you feel like you’re sitting on her front porch, talking to an old friend. Definitely worth a listen if you enjoy cats!
