If you are in the coaching industry, do yourself a favor and listen to this podcast! Christie Mims is phenomenal at what she does. Every episode of this podcast is filled with useful information that is actionable and can put into practical use. I spent 18 months listening to this podcast, waiting for her emails each week, and really benefiting from her content. Then I decided to join her BARB program. That has been a game changer for me. If you are a coach that is just starting out, I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Christie and Bobbi make these so fun! And the topics they discuss are extremely valuable to us as coaches. An easy listen and entertaining too.

I am an extremely picky podcast listener because I work in audio. I only listen to 3 podcasts, and Coach Pony podcast is one of them. I’m just starting my own coaching business, so this is all really helpful stuff to think about. And with every episode I listen to, I’m more surprised and impressed at how generous, clear and thoughtful they are with sharing their expertise. People get so stressed out about “keeping your best stuff behind a paywall,” but this podcast is a great example of how the opposite is true. Because I’ve listened, I KNOW they know their stuff, and so in this vast landscape of coaches for coaches, and business courses, and all of that, I have so much trust in Christie and her team, so now I am a paying student! (Side note: the sound effects are very silly, but these folks can pull it off because they are so authentic. I think I missed the origin of the joke, but I still giggle every time I hear Bobbi Palmer’s theme.)

You can tell that host Christie Mims and her team put great thought and care into this well produced show that helps coaches build successful businesses. Every episode of Coach Pony is focused and well planned and each limited season focuses on a different topic. I’m especially enjoy the fourth season’s interviews with well known solopreneurs.

I have to admit - I am one of her BARB clients. Christy is so generous she is with her information - and it is all so actionable and reasonable. really love Season 3 episode “How shiny objects slow down your coaching business”….because - well, I have my own version of shiny objects that I refer to as bunny trails and rabbit holes. (But really - all of Season three is amazing - and I have not gotten to season 4 yet!) The CoachPony Podcast only scratches the surface of all the amazing coach helpful training that is in her brain but it’s enough to get any coach started in building a real business for themselves.

This show is filled with inspiration, motivation, humor and actionable content. Everything a coach needs to start or grow their coaching practice.

Christie lays it all out in a straightforward and honest way. I’ve learned so much from her and have adopted so many of the tips she shares on the podcast. My group program is going well in large part because I listened to her and not the overnight success coaches that seem to be taking over the internet.

Believe me when I say, Christie is the ONLY person you need to listen to while you build your business. Take it from someone who’s done ALL the programs (or at least it feels that way). I was purchasing programs to help me start my coaching business, only to find them filled with a lot of fancy lingo and little guts. Then I found Christie Mims and BARB and I swear to you, the angles started to sing. THIS IS WHAT I NEEDED ALL ALONG! Christie had a way of cutting through the crap and giving you what you actually need… simple solid advice. Any roadblock you can think of, Christie has an answer and a way of making it seem easy and less daunting then you think it is. She also recommends wine and chocolate while building your business, so I’m pretty sure she’s my spirit animal.

When I found the Coach Pony podcast a few mere weeks ago, I was hooked after listening to the first episode and binge listened the rest within a week — and took many detailed notes because HELLO there’s so much great, practical, and immediately applicable business advice in every episode! I wish Coach Pony was around when I finished my coaching program two years ago. I missed the opportunity to enroll in this round of Christie’s BARB program, but am grateful for the podcast and other free material she offers and am not letting the next chance to sign up for Build a Real Business to pass me by! This podcast is full of good, solid advice that really helps! Although you can buy a full Coach Pony Program, which I imagine is amazing, you don’t have to to get some great advice right on the podcast. I would say Christie is an absolute Marketing genius. Why wouldn’t you want to learn from that? Luckily I don’t need to be a genius to understand the lessons she teaches. Highly recommend!

Honestly, I’m no longer surprised how relatable and inviting Christie Mims is! She invites you into her story and allows you to see her as a real human (who loves chocolate) which is so important. Her experience and intellect isn’t saved just for the new coaches out there — no, everyone has something to learn from her. What’s even better is that she delivers in a way that’s warm, inviting and fun. You don’t know you’re learning, the ah-ha’s sneak up on you when Christie is around and it’s an incredible experience. This podcast is for the new coaches, the struggling coaches and the ones making 6 and 7 figure salaries — there’s gold nuggets for everyone. Again, it’s delivered in such a digestible way there’s really no cons to listening.
