This is a well written and well acted podcast. The story is very engaging and each episode keeps me wanting to listen to more episodes. The content is very interesting (global pandemic, interpersonal relationships, changed society etc)

Chronicles: Chance is truly truly a horrible episode. It’ll make you stop listening to the series.

Just found this show today (4/16/24) and I have to say that I’m liking it so far. Just started episode 2

So many things are done well in this podcast: The actors are top notch and believable. The sound design/editing is crisp and complementary. I especially appreciate the background musical scores that support and add depth to each scene. The writing is real and familiar. The author writes with an easy conversational flow. In fact, this is really a story of complex human relational dynamics that explores loyalty, integrity and ethics wrapped up in a package of plausible science fiction.

Stop. Please. Pushing your “message.”

Wondering when something is gonna happen. Kicking an episode with explanation of animal testing isn’t my idea of fun either. Maybe it gets better but finding it painful

Say we are gonna need a season 3!!!!!

Apollyon is a Amazing story to check out if you haven’t already

What makes this show so riveting is that it’s very plausible that this would happens. It makes us explore the more cruel parts of capitalism, humanity, and ethics!

There’s a science fiction story in there, however that’s not the meat of this podcast, it’s really just a very unbelievable love triangle. The main character Theo is extremely judgmental of everyone in her life, and does an excellent job of being very self centered. The voice actor does an excellent job at getting that across. If you’re desperate give it a listen, if you’re not, move along to another podcast.

Acting is adequate at best. Exposition is handled terribly—the scene where the protagonist explains the virus etc to schoolchildren is horribly non-believable. Worst of all, this show is just a gabby emotionfest where people (mostly the female lead) spend a lot of time talking about nothing (the whole child-bearing thing) or getting worked up rather than solving problems. I couldn't make it even through the second episode.

I found this show interesting and it help me on the edge of my seat. I also enjoyed the patient zero sun zeroes mini episodes (though I wish they had been slightly longer). Based on the show itself, I would give it 4-5 stars. BUT, I had subscribed to many Realm podcasts, and I do not enjoy that they run preview episodes for new shows constantly on all of their shows, regardless of if they are even from a similar genre or type of story. If they were similar genre’s and types of stories, I would not mind. I would love to hear about a story that is similar to a shoe I like already. I do not want the same episode popping up multiple times in my podcast feed, especially when it’s a completely different type of story. This unfortunately has earned an unsubscribe across all the Realm podcasts I subscribe to after getting tired of this happening every week.

Season 1 was so impressive. I would love to hear a second season of the same quality. But the bonus episodes have turned me off so much. I like the idea, and I really enjoyed the addition of a bit of Spanish to really immerse the listener in the idea of these field tapes. But episode 7 gave more than half of the episode in entirely Spanish. As I don’t speak the language, I’m trying to figure out if there is a transcript or a translation that was mentioned and I missed out or….? It puts me completely out of the story. I can’t care about the characters when I can’t see their faces NOR understand what’s going on.

Season one had an incredible story and I’m looking forward to the next season :) keep up the good work!

Season one was a well written and perfectly executed story that had me totally engaged.

I saw that season 2 is crowdfunding so started at the beginning. Through the heartbeak of the first few epidoes, it builds mystery anf fraught character relationships that propel you onward. Execellent writing and perfoemarnce!

Pretty obvious this podcast was an acquisition rather than a Realm original. It lacked some of the humor and wit I’ve found to be characteristic of other Realm shows. As a result, it didn’t feel as well-balanced or easy listening as shows like Orphan Black, Power Trip, If I Go Missing, or the show about the Gods, for instance. That said, the voice acting was superb and the storyline engaging enough it that I think it more than earned a second season, so I look forward to the return.

Just finished season 1 and can’t wait to hear what’s next.

This show is so relevant to what we are experiencing now! It’s suspenseful, and thought provoking.

It's worth a listen. A lot of podcasts devote the bulk of their time to setting up a mystery, delving into angsty characters and creating a whole world with sound design, but oddly end without a good story payoff -- and that goes for even the most wildly popular ones. Apollyon is cerebral, and it's got heart. It actually gets to the bottom of the mystery; the big reveals have layers and make sense, and the characters are very strong and well acted.

Please give us season 2 ! This audio drama is so good and interesting I want to see we’re it going to end up cuz by the end of season 1 left on a cliff hanger.

Fantastic Podcast!! Only reason I’m rating it 4 stars instead of 5 is the 9th episode. Even if does explain it in the 10th, I can’t be the only one who had NO IDEA who was talking to whom. Besides Sabine, all of the females sound exactly alike and a name was only mentioned in 2 of the scenes. I listened twice and it was still a headache. But don’t let episode 9 keep you from listening. It really is a great podcast.

When is season 2 coming out. I just binged season 1 and I’m very invested. Thank you for your brilliant story telling.
