I also just recently have been given the membership for equipping ELL’s from our district and it is a game changer!!!! Beth is such an expert in this area and such a lifeline for MLL teachers like myself. I am soooo thankful for all she does, for this podcast and the membership!!

As an ELL teacher for K-5 students, I am constantly looking for ways to better support my students. The topics that are covered in this podcast are relevant and real without any fluff. I love listening to this podcast to get practical and easy to implement strategies. I also appreciate the free resources that are linked in the notes. I’ve been getting an increase in newcomers recently and have found the podcasts on how to support newcomers super informative and helpful. Thanks for breaking things down in an easy to understand way and providing practical solutions that can be implemented the next day!

I did my best to keep it up and when I found this podcast I had instant ESL professional development all on my phone. I love the helpful resources and tips given By Beth. jyne2050Very practical ways to support ELLsI first joined Equipping ELLs in fall of 2023. I renewed in fall 2024. All the materials are absolutely amazing. The podcast provides very useful extra support advice. Beth has put it altogether for supporting Ells and I have learned so much from her website and podcast. It all goes way beyond a curriculum. It’s materials, how-to and encouragement.

This is my second year as a Multilingual co-teacher, and this podcast and the Equipping ELLs resources have made me feel much more confident and knowledgeable. I am always learning new strategies to share with my co-teachers and try with my students. I really loved the most recent episode, 156. Mastering ESL Lesson Planning: A Step-by-Step Path for Success. Which outlined how to set quarterly goals, follow a four-week cycle, observe and adjust lessons, and use the WIDA framework and language goals to help guide instruction. I am so thankful I found Equipping ELLS, and they have helped me in so many ways. Thank you so much for all your strategies, advice, and support!

SydneyyyywhiteGreat listen!I am not someone who likes listening to podcasts but I have gotten into the habit of listening to Equipping ELL’s while I’m working on other small tasks during the day. I almost always have to stop what I’m doing to jot down a note on something that was said because every episode contains practical and useful ideas for working with ELL students. I’m a coordinator for the English department at a school in the Dominican Republic, so I also get to share my new knowledge with my team of teachers. 10/10 recommend this podcast to anyone working with ELL students!
