    A must listen!
Hands down, one of my all time favorite podcasts. Extremely entertaining hosts who make me feel seen as a married, childfree by choice woman. I really value the time and research they put into their content and bringing interesting guests to the show. Please keep fighting the good fight!

    The best!
Erika and Kristen are hilarious!! I love hearing them and the guests talk about their experiences navigating childfree life - it’s so validating knowing there’s a whole community of childfree people out there! ❤️

    💯
If you have kids, dump them on the side of the road and then you too can enjoy this podcast.

    So welcoming
This podcast makes me feel normal for not wanting kids in a world where I feel like I’m crazy cause all my friends are having kids. Thanks for creating a space for those of us who feel differently 💛

    Amazing liberal podcast
Love hearing about the child free life, and finding support here with everything happening in the country right now. My favorite section is dink your self

The best, funniest, most unhinged podcast serving as sweet reprieve and validation from the current hellscape we find ourselves in the US right now.

    Long time listener ❤️
I’ve been listening to you guys a long time and love the podcast!!! Another 37 year old married childfree woman here, this podcast is really priceless to me. I relate to everything you talk about. Don’t stop!!

    DINK YOURSELF
I found this podcast in the wake of a failed engagement - in part due to misaligned decision making and philosophy around having kids. I’m a 33 year old dude so initially I wondered if this was for me, but I quickly identified with their sense of humor and nuanced discussion about childfree issues. They discuss so many points I had thought of myself, and I immediately felt so validated knowing I’m not alone in seriously questioning having children in the modern landscape. They’ve had several great guests and I’ve gained a ton of additional perspective. If you’re a fencesitter, childfree person, or just looking for some insightful and hilarious discussion on these issues, I can’t recommend highly enough. DINK YOURSELF!

    BEST PODCAST
I’m literally obsessed with this podcast!!!! I binged all the episodes within the last month and can’t say enough about how much I love listening!!!! Best childfree podcast on the internet. The girls do their research and know exactly what they’re talking about each week!!!! Please never quit recording.

    Confident in my decision
This podcast helps me feel confident in my child free decision as a 31 year old woman. And these two make me chuckle every episode I listen to! Great podcast! Though I am a little confused about why I keep hearing fertility commercials in their podcast. They are not host read ads but I still find it to be a little strange and unaligned with their message.

    Live, Laugh, Listen
I could listen to these ladies just laugh for 45 minutes straight. Very enjoyable. I feel like I’m part of a community I didn’t know existed. Guest speakers are top quality.

    My favorite podcast
I can’t even begin to express how much I love this podcast. It’s so validating and hilarious. It’s like hanging out with two friends ( I wish I was friends with the hosts 😭). Thank you for helping us child free people feel seen and heard in a world where being child free is often treated as odd and unconventional. Thank you also for your thorough research on every topic that you present. I have learned so much from listening.

    Fantastic, hilarious
This podcast is just so, so good. Listening to it makes me feel like I’m hanging out with friends. As a childfree person I had been longing for something like this, and here it is!

Another pod that could be 30 mins
I listened to 4 episodes, learned some things, agreed w a lot of what the hosts said, but there is just so much rambling whiny filler. The child free people I know are engaged in their own pursuits- professional, romantic, creative, athletic, whatever. I know not having kids is the focus of the podcast but it gives the impression their whole lives are about not having kids, instead of their lives getting to be about the things they DO with their higher-than-a-parent amount of free time and money. It all comes off as insecure. And as a fellow Portlander in their late 30s whose friends mostly don’t have kids, this is maybe the easiest place in America to do that.

    What has this podcast become?
I have enjoyed this podcast for some time. I appreciate the childfree content that is so refreshing and hard to find. Unfortunately, I can no longer listen. All I hear now is you mocking Christianity and shoving your politics down our throats. You should keep your religious and politics beliefs to yourself. You just lost a listener.

    False info
How do you guys get away with fake information on Sam Harris ?! Can’t listen to any more when clearly you do no research
  • JasmineMilkTea
Perfect mix of fun and serious discussion
I really appreciate how the podcast balances silly fun chats with intellectual topics like antinatalism and how to have a legacy and contribute to society the child-free way. It reminds me of conversations with my real-life friends: sometimes we talk about celebrity gossip but sometimes we talk about feminism and climate change. The range!

    Perfection!
After following Dinkypod on Instagram for a while I finally took the plunge and listened to the podcast - binge listened (if that’s a phrase) the whole show over the last couple of months. As a childfree 37 year old woman myself it was great to not only hear some of my same thoughts and feelings articulated so well but to also learn so much. I’ve been telling almost everyone I know about this podcast and will continue to do so! Can’t wait for the merch release in July!

Love that you’ve created a community where it’s not anger but thoughtful decisions and compassion that fuel this conversation.

    More than great instagram content
I found this podcast from instagram, Dinkypod. While I knew it was the instagram for a podcast, it took me forever to listen to an episode. But I’m so glad I did! Slowly listening through the older episodes, my favorite has been the wealth management and financial planning episode.

    DINKing Saves Lives
I love the pod. It’s the perfect balance between hilarious and educational. I feel like I learn so much and get to laugh with my parasocial phone friends about cheese grottos and red lobster. The ladies have kept me highly entertained through a lot of medium distance relationship driving. But what finally got me to post a review is that I was texting my child free bestie about DINKing myself at urgent care, thinking I had strep but figuring I’d ~splurge~ on covid and flu rapid tests while I was there, and surprise! I had the flu! Without Dinky, I’d be more bored, less educated, and utterly Tamiflu-less. Thank you for everything!

    Thank you!
I just wanted to say THANK YOU for this podcast. It is so amazing to find a supportive community for people who do not see motherhood/parenthood in their future. It is the validation that so many of us lack from society at large. Erica & Kristen do amazing research on each of their topics, bring levity to hard conversations and provide abundant statistics/resources to support their findings. I am so happy I found this podcast and hope to join you all on a Dinky trip in the future!

    Love them so much!
I’m usually not a podcast person, but recently started listening to Dinky. I love this podcast so much. If you are childfree or if you’re a fence sitter, you will probably love listening to Kristen and Erika’s commentary. They really take a deep look into childfree living, from financial planning, to birth control, to capitalism, to pronatalist nationalism-you name it! I’m hoping that they start talking about less popular topics affecting the childfree community, such as workplace discrimination, filial responsibility laws, and the childlessness tax. Highly recommend!

    Christopher Walken
Hi guys! Just wanted to pop in and say I love Kristen’s impression of Christopher Walken but I’m totally with Erica on leaving dishes in the sink. That’s what the dishwasher is for, people, move them! (Unless they’re really, really gross and need to soak). I always forget to listen to podcasts but I’m delighted whenever I remember to listen to Dinky. You both crack me up with the very relatable content. And more on tradwives, please. 😘

    Best of the Internet
I swear I feel more seen by this podcast than any other content on the internet. Kristen and Erika put into words so many things that have been bouncing around in my brain for years. So much childfree content is emotional, serious, and kind of a downer. This podcast is not that!! It grapples with important questions and topics in a fun (and typically funny) manner. I find myself nodding along and also cracking up in every episode. They say so many things that I wish more people would feel comfortable saying. I don’t have anyone in my life who is as confidently childfree as I am (besides my husband) and who sees DINK life as a life hack, I’m so grateful to have two podcast hosts (who do not know I exist) to relate to! Also, I really did appreciate the recent conversation about washing dishes…

    What I have been missing!
Living in a world obsessed with children/being a mom it is refreshing to have this podcast. The hosts are a breath of fresh air and I look forward to new episodes every two weeks.

    DINK Yourself!
As a childfree person living in the Midwest, I don’t know any childfree people in my “real life.” But this podcast has done wonders to help me realize I’m not alone, while providing meaningful insights and plenty of laughs along the way. The hosts are funny, engaging, and feel like friends. Their guests are smart and insightful. Plus they help me justify all my purchases with their rallying cry to “DINK yourself!” Thank you for fostering community and belonging for me and so many others, I’m a listener for life.

    Started with instagram
I found this podcast because I started following childfree and dinky content on instagram and liked their content. A few months ago they made a meme series calling out people who followed but didn’t listen to the podcast. Feeling called out, I started at episode one and was hooked. Easily binged all their content within days. These girls are hilarious and rant about things that I agree with and are so well researched in topics I haven’t even thought about. I am childfree by choice and my husband had a vasectomy shortly after we married, but it’s great to explore anti-natalism and the ethics of surrogacy, etc. also, I’m in the market for a cheese grotto. If you’re on the fence about having children or absolutely don’t want them, this podcast is a great support!

    Just what I needed!
I’m so grateful to have found this podcast during my journey toward deciding not to have children. That journey was obviously emotional and heavy at times and this podcast added some joy and levity! I look forward to every episode!

    I love this podcast!
I am so happy and grateful to have found this podcast! It’s just great to know that there are many more people out there that have chosen a child free lifestyle. It’s also great listening to these two! It feels like I’m hanging out with two good friends. Keep on doin what y’all doin!

Love these ladies and this show!
Kristen and Erika do it all - they provide factual, helpful information, and make me laugh out loud! They have provided me with resources that are enhancing my DINK life. Thank you, Kristen and Erika for all of the hard work that you put into this podcast. I look forward to it every week!

Good idea but poor execution- no diversity/inclusivity and some questionable content
At first when I found this podcast I loved the concept and listened to a few episodes on topics that interested me specifically and enjoyed them somewhat, despite some complaints I get into below. However, they really lost me with the Halloween episode. I can’t take them seriously anymore after sitting through an hour of discussion on ghosts and demons as if they are reality. The episode was billed as a discussion of cultural pressures to have children, but that part of the discussion was less than half the episode. I particularly looked forward to such an episode because I found a lot of the content in other episodes to be sorely missing diverse perspectives, or even the consideration of such perspectives. This show had potential, but has a lot of ground to cover on improving their fact finding/checking and research and their inclusivity.

Love finding a child free community!
I’ve known since I was born that I didn’t want kids and have spend decades hearing every derogatory thing you can think of. I’m 41 and more sure than ever that this is the right decision. I love this podcast because it’s great to hear from other like-minded people. Please keep up the good work, and tell me more about your skincare routines! I love to hear it!

Love the show and so appreciate having these podcast friends that always remind me I’m making the right choice for me ☺️🫶

An entertaining take on taboo topics
One of my all time favorite podcasts. I appreciate how you speak sense on many taboo subjects. I am coming here following the surrogacy episode to encourage everyone to listen to that one and all that came before it.
  • agrai24
One and done, but still love this podcast :)
Really like listening to different perspectives/lifestyles. Mine is not a DINK, but we have decided to only have one, which works great for us. Really fun podcast, love the topics. Keep up the good work ladies!!

    So long
Incredibly disappointing to hear your take on the genocide of Palestinians by not mentioning them at all. Unfollowed on IG too. I encourage you to diversify where and who you get your news from.

    Validating, funny, and informative!
It feels like you’re listening to 2 friends, it’s a great combo of humor and informative. Thankful for you both and taking the time to create each episode!

    Feeling seen and heard
Great podcast for someone who just realized they are childfree and that it’s okay to be so.

I love this podcast more than Red Lobster
Listening to Dinky is like hanging out with with the childfree best friends I didn’t know I was missing from my life. These two are hilarious and speak my kind of humor (what up, never ending Red Lobster inside joke). So much of what they discuss is similar to thoughts I’ve had about the CF lifestyle, the plethora of reasons not to have a kid, and just life in general. They are thoughtful and do their research. They are hilarious. I want to hang out with them in real life. I was never a fan of podcasts before stumbling upon Dinky, but I cannot get enough of this one!

    Embrace the dink lifestyle!
Do you need a reminder or validation that your lifestyle is awesome despite what society tells you? This podcast not only provides that but you will learn more ways to embrace this lifestyle! My personal favorite segment, DINK YOURSELF!, has taught me to treat myself each week knowing that I don’t need to put away thousands of dollars to spend on childcare, child birth, and more. Please have a Dinky meet up in Portland <3 Love you guys!!
  • Kaylakrenitsky
    Validation!
I love this podcast. So much of these conversations resonate with me. I have had many similar thoughts and beliefs, and I feel so validated and it’s such a relief. I’m so happy to have found solidarity for this childfree lifestyle.
  • KylaN83
    Finally!
I came across your pod about a month ago and have binged almost every episode. I’m just so happy that this life style is becoming a little more normalized thanks to people like you. I wish there had been more acceptance back in my 20s and 30s ;just turned 40 this year. I’m so glad that people younger and younger are learning that this is a choice and you don’t have to give in to society pressure.
  • surpriseyourself
    LOVE LOVE LOVE
Dinky is the podcast I didn’t know I was missing in my life. It has been SO validating as a childfree woman without childfree friends. Dinky talks about all the thoughts I’ve had that I’ve never had a chance to talk with others about. It’s funny, comforting, informative, affirming, and everything you would want in friends and a podcast.
