Keith remains the best broadcaster in politics. He is the Obi-wan to Rachel’s Leia Skywalker. If we ever have a trustworthy mainstream news show again it should be Keith and Rachel running it!

Have been a fan for decades, Keith! Just want to say I do disagree with you on something. Jon Hamm IS NOT a nice guy. He participated in the violent hazing of a pledge at his fraternity in 1990 when he was 20, leading to the pledge’s injuries and withdrawal from school, in addition to the shuttering of that fraternity chapter. Boo! Otherwise, keep up the excellent work!

I just learned of this podcast. I use to love Countdown. He reminds me a bit like Jean Shepherd. He Is a bit biting which is more than appropriate. He gets better every day! I continue to listen but you never know when he’ll have a new show. Get a schedule man.! I still really link the show but there is no schedule. It could be every other day of once every 5 days. How about a little bit of reliability.

It used to be fun to laugh at how deranged Keith gets. His hysteria is hilarious. His hyperbole is hypnotic. It’s moving past the playful point. He has full blown lost his mind.

You know top mental health professionals tried to warn America about T’s mental illnesses and cognitive decline years ago? See John Gartner and Harry Segal, two psychologists who have a podcast, “Shrinking Trump.” They point out all the obvious signs.

He got me through the Bush years and he is just about the only news source I can tolerate during our current national nightmare. He is ALWAYS right. His insights are sharp. His sense of humor makes me feel like I am not alone with my despair. All in all he is a national treasure and the fact that he isn’t the marquee pundit on a network or cable news station is idiotic.

Keith Olbermann’s podcast, “Countdown,” aspires to be a beacon of incisive political commentary but instead flounders in a sea of self-indulgence and redundancy. Listeners are subjected to meandering monologues that often rehash the same grievances without offering fresh insights or solutions. The once-compelling “Worst Persons in the World” segment has devolved into predictable name-calling, lacking the wit and substance it once possessed. Olbermann’s tendency to prioritize his personal vendettas over objective analysis undermines the credibility of the podcast. It’s a missed opportunity for meaningful dialogue, leaving listeners yearning for substance over spectacle. Also, he has terrible fashion sense.

I’m so glad Mr. Olbermann is doing what he does best; calling out corruption and standing up to the rich and powerful.

But please let us hear your take on Bill Maher, who over the last few years has had many right wing nutjobs and insurrectionist on his show. Giving them a platform to spread lies and dangerous commentary. Maybe, worse person. Thank you you are doing a VERY valuable podcast Thanks for doing that.

I’m glad that Sen Schumer did not shut down the government. Trump and musk want a government shut down. They would decimate the government while it is down. They would shut down the courts. They would furlough all the workers for months and months. Billionaires do not need the federal government. Trump and musk would have no motivation to bring the government back up. The Democrats had to choose between two terrible choices. The government shutdown could have had such horrific consequences, it could not be risked. Right now, the Fed Courts are open every day to push back on Trump and musk. In fact, they restored employment to thousands of workers in the last few days. Thank you for your show. I’m a regular listener.

While I mostly enjoy the pod and look forward to Keith’s take on the latest Trump fiasco, I can’t help but notice that Keith has to be one of the most injury prone, weak immune system people I’ve ever heard .every other weak he has some new ailment to complain about,using it as a reason for shorter unedited shows or skipping the show altogether. It’s like listening to my 90 year old Grandmother whining about every ailment under the sun while her equally elderly friends compare similar ailments while lamenting the lack of visits from the grandkids. I know you’re getting up there in age a bit and we appreciate you for”playing hurt” but either take better care of yourself or at least stop the whining, we need a strong voice, not a granny

Mr. Olbermann podcast is my go to for truth and facts. It’s twice a week so I countdown the days until I hear his voice of reason and knowledge. I highly recommend to everyone to listen!

Thank you Keith Olbermann - always providing sharp political analysis. We need more Congress people like Al Green. So far the democrats have shown unsatisfactory work-Democracy is being destroyed and yet dems display an unwillingness to defend it. Wearing pink & holding paddles was ridiculous. I remember listening to the brilliant, outspoken Keith when he was on MSNBC, during the Bush years and was so delighted when I found his podcast. He hasn’t changed and never should!

While I’m more of a “Just the facts, sir” kind of gal, I’m glad those who are helped by the emotional side of things have this podcast. I wish Keith had a bigger platform but, as his episodes make clear, there’s now mainly only a market for white-washing.

Short and sweet. I listen to Keith for several reasons. He has a wicked sense of humor and these days I need a good laugh first thing in the morning.His personal political point of view is perfect for the times and I agree with everyone of them. He has a wonderful love of Dogs and a fierce anger toward those who would harm out country. I highly recommend CountDown with Keith Olbermann

The time to fight for what’s right has never been more urgent. “Countdown” reminds us all of our civic duty to not only be decent human beings, but also to speak and act when obvious “mischief” is paraded before us as “business as usual”. When too much still isn’t enough, it’s time to put a cork in it and get off the champagne and back to milk and donuts. I’m with Olbermann on just about everything politically. I loved Keith’s YouTube videos during Trump’s first term, so I came here to hear him say I’m not crazy, and that we ARE watching a coup. It’s scary but nonetheless reassuring. Thanks for being unafraid to speak the unvarnished truth, Keith!

I have been using your name as originator of DEFY as often as possible, but sometimes I’m using it in a veiled way such as “the new brand of DEFY winter boots in in the improved Defiance style line” and I can’t mention your name. Simply put, please put your marketing and PR team on it. DEFY IS GETTING ATTENTION. It’s yours!
