    Jeff is the GOAT!
Love the podcast. The passion and love that Jeff clearly still has for Survivor shines through. It’s so great to get his insight and perspective.

    Only one problem…
…it’s not long enough! This is a must-listen podcast for Survivor fans. Learning more about how challenges come together and how Jeff and the other show creators think about this game, including how it has evolved through the seasons, makes this a great podcast. I also love having the perspective of a former player. My only wish is that each episode was longer!

Great show! I can’t get enough.
I love listening to On Fire after watching the most recent season. Growing up with Survivor I think it’s so cool to get behind the scene secrets. My husband is going back and watching old seasons and the extra info makes watching the past seasons more interesting and fun. Keep it up! Hannah L.

    Lovin’ the Insight!
I listen to this podcast religiously the day following a new episode airing and I can honestly say that I am NEVER disappointed! Probst, Jay, and Rachel due an excellent job offering unique, and often fun, insights into Survivor. I highly recommend adding this to your library as you will not be disappointed!

    Forever
I’ve been watching Survivor since those very first seasons, first with my dad and now with my SO. It’s been a part of my life for as long as I can remember and now adding in, listening to the juicy tidbits and behind the scenes details of the show with the pod makes watching the show even better! Love the banter, love the tidbits and the behind the scenes! I do hope you go back in the off season and do episodes talking about the early shows!

I LOVE going behind the scenes and further in depth into the show through the podcast. Love, love, love it!

    On Fire is Amazing!
I’ve been watching Survivor since the first episode of season 1. I look forward to Wednesday nights during each season. On Fire podcasts after the show airs are such a great behind the scenes addition to each season. Thank you for having this podcast!

    The tribe has *podcasted*
I have been watching Survivor since season one when I was 8 years old. I started listening to the podcast for season 46 when I was pregnant. Of course, I went back and listened to the first two seasons of the podcast while also rewatching some of my favorite seasons as I often do. When my daughter was born season 47 aired. I’m beginning to think my daughter recognizes Jeff’s voice more than mine! Survivor has and will always be my comfort show! Having the added podcast and a look behind the scenes is amazing! Thank for you continuing to entertain me and so many others!

    Question for Jeff
My family has been watching Suvivor since the beginning. Love how it has evolved. We have Survivor parties and even roasted coconut over a fire. We wondered if Jeff stays in Fiji for the whole season or flies home for breaks? Keep the shows coming!

A must for any Survivor fan.
Such a good Podcast! As a huge Survivor fan from day one I appreciate the insight of what goes into producing my favorite show. When the show is over every Wednesday I am so glad to have this podcast to listen to to continue my survivor experience. I have learned so much from this podcast. Keep up the good work!

    So much wiser
I have been a survivor watcher from the beginning. I’m not known as a strategist. I’ve always been amazed at how the players figure things out. This podcast has made me a much wiser viewer. Every time an episode ends I regret that it’s over. that regret is temporarily relieved while I listen to the podcast. Then the regret comes back when the podcast is over! But the regret is worth it. Thanks so much for all your insights from the three different perspectives. Looking forward to so many more years of survivor!

    Love the insights
I look forward to the new episode of survivor every week and now I also look forward to the On Fire podcast. I love to hear the behind the scenes insights - about logistics, challenges, and how producers tell the story. One of the best things about survivor is that it gives positive vibes and it was great to hear Jeff confirm that it’s intentional!

    You complete me
I now don’t feel I’ve finished watching the actual Survivor episode until I’ve listened to the partner pod episode. It’s sooo fascinating to hear why the game has evolved the way it has, the philosophy behind the approach to the whole game as well as challenge design, and I love hearing from a past player to answer questions about the past season that I forgot I even had! You can’t ever stop making these as long as Survivor exists- which is hopefully forever. Thank you!

    Can’t wait to hear!
I’ve been watching Survivor since episode 1. It’s been a Wednesday night staple in my life forever. I was so excited for this podcast. I’ve learned so much over the last 4 seasons about the behind the scenes. Last night while watching this episode, I thought “I can’t wait to hear what Jeff, Rachel, and Jay have to say about this episode! Well done and keep ‘em coming!!
  • Hjtbirder
    Essential for any fan!!
Hi onfire crew 😊My lineup for the survivor is watch, listen to this podcast and on to rhap . Thanks for putting this podcast together and would you ever consider interviewing some of the other players after each season ends?

    Great Show!
I started watching survivor around season 44, and I’m hooked! There’s no other show out there like it, it’s just so *real*. I’m autistic so seeing Eva struggle, but shine is just so beautiful for me. I kept hearing about the podcast, but started listening in during 47, and I’m hooked! It’s the perfect companion to the episodes, especially hearing a little bit more of Rachel’s insight as a player. Overall great podcast, even better show. Here’s my actual rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

    No wonder
No wonder survivor has captivated me for years. Jeff Probst’s passion for the show is so evident and infectious in this amazing podcast. Listen and catch the fever.

    Survivor Fan for Life
As a longtime Survivor superfan, On Fire is everything I didn’t know I needed. The behind-the-scenes insight is unmatched — I find myself in awe (and honestly a little envious) of the Survivor family. I’m a PE teacher and coach, and like Jeff, I often say I have the greatest job in the world. I relate so much to Mitch this season — I train little challenge beasts every day! My students love competing in balance challenges and listen to me talk about Survivor all of the time. At times, my professional world feels like Tribal — high teacher turnover has me feeling like Stephenie from Palau… the last woman standing. This podcast keeps me inspired both personally and professionally. The way you highlight the show and the incredible crew behind it is something special. If you read this on air, please keep me anonymous — I don’t want to get voted off my island! Thanks for keeping the torch lit.

    It’s a must listen!
If you are a Survivor watcher, this is a MUST LISTEN! I find that questions my wife and I ask each other during the show are often answered in the podcast. So insightful and interesting!

    Survivor. Probst. Enough said.
After watching since season one, I’m so thankful I get more. And I love Rachel.

This is the perfect addition to the perfect show. Plain and simple.

    SURVIVOR SEASON 48!!
I am SO HAPPY that the new season is out!! This is my absolute favorite show and family tradition in the world! Even for people like me, a minor, this podcast is super helpful and an awesome insight into the best show in the world! It has always been my dream to join Jeff in the islands of Fiji!! Question, how come we stopped having visits from family? That used to be my favorite part of the entire season! Great show guys! Excited for season 50!!! (I’ve already voted for what that season will consist of!) - FutureSurvivorPlayer123

1 1/2 hours. Thank you Survivor!
I have always hated when a Survivor episode ended. Still do. But having the extra half hour feels more satisfying and I’m thrilled . Kudos to the amazing Survivor team and all of the players!
  • lummgr
    Love it, but…
I can’t express how much this has heightened my Survivor fandom. Been watching since episode 1, and have been with the podcast since the beginning. It has grown to be better over the first few seasons, but maybe a step back this year. You need to cut back on the sound bites from the show, and talk more. I feel like too much time is now used up on the clips.

    Eva and Joe
This episode hit me and my wife really hard. So my son has autism as well and he’s 11. I look over at my wife as we are watching and she’s bawling, it meant so much to us because to see her struggling was very hard for us. We just wanted to jump through the TV and hug her! To see the amount of actual care, Joe had for her was amazing. This episode gave me hope that when my son is older, he can have the cognitive ability to calm himself down, but there will be moments where we all need help at times. We instantly both knew the struggles that she was going through and what her parents have gone through Man I was struggling watching it because like I said before I just wanted to jump through the TV and hug her and be able to calm her down. Thank you for letting the world see this! I’ve told my wife that I want to apply one day and I will!

    So Good
After finding this podcast, I finally understand why my husband watches post-game shows. I look forward to this podcast as much as I look forward to watching Survivor. Thanks for giving me an opportunity to geek out a little longer every week.

    Covid Survivor Faithful
I can’t say I am a super fan, but I am an aspiring Survivor Cast Member (just have to apply) and I love the insight that this podcast gives. It makes me think differently about the game is really pushing me even more to actually pull the trigger and apply. I knew of survivor from the first season, and even watched some of it those early years, but never really became a fan and watched until covid. We have been watching faithfully as a family ever since. I have seen most of the seasons and I have loved watching the evolution of the game. If you are a Survivor fan and want to dig deeper into what happens off screen, this is an amazing podcast to listen to.

    A MUST for Survivor Fans
You know that feeling, like “where have you been all my life?” That’s how I feel about the On Fire Podcast (or ‘Probst-cast’?)! It’s full of amazing insights about the current season and the show overall. I’m a Survivor superfan (and wannabe player). I love the triangle approach (producer, fan, player viewpoints). It feels like you’re having a cup of hot chocolate with Jeff, Jay and an iconic player. Listen to it today!!
