ElJefeTexSnarky old menEndless political whine from angry old men. I finally gave up after they claimed the NTSB was only posting on X which is a lie. That was after them discussing the DCS crash where they then claimed no one should play politics with the crash. The irony.

Jamie DodsonAll things, AviationThere are a few Aviation topics this podcast does not cover. Many interesting guests lots of technical information and some history too a great way to spend an hour or so catching up on all that’s happening and the wonderful world of Aviation Cheers, Jamie Dodson.

DanielbezdenTwitter comments are disappointingI’ve listened for years and will likely continue to do so. Recent comments about Twitter are disappointing. The show has always been very neutral politically - as it should be. Their disappointment about Twitter and questioning if it will be around reflect a nauseatingly arrogant viewpoint that seems to indicate that they have lost touch with the audience. Common guys, lets be grown up and show some tolerance for other viewpoints.

zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz7777Enough alreadySorry to see that you are still mailing it in. The interviews are a big yawn. I suggest getting back to work.

amazing 5 stars1234567890Awesome Podcast, Almost “Interactive”This podcast covers a wide range of aviation stories, and the casual feel makes it feel like I’m sitting with them having a fun conversation. It could almost be advertised as “interactive” ;)

Winnie EunicePleasant well rounded podcastIt’s a podcast that has gotten me deeper into airplanes and aviation history I really like how they are serious and not just in blah blah blah they are actually deeply concentrated in the discussion. It’s something that has kept me alive in these cheap times of sorrow a.k.a. Covid something that can help you, heal you, and love you,Which is why it’s not my favorite podcast!

Bill from flyover county.Used to be great. All good things must come to an end…. I guess?? Really disappointed in all the political innuendo. Podcast has good aviation topics and data but some can’t seem to not let their polar political views shine through. Specifically Max West continue’d disparaging comments about Florida or even parroting that inflation will help the aviation industry because people will not be able to afford it. Most folks outside of California or the Northeast may not share his views. It our job as pilots and CFIs to be voracious advocates for all things Aviation, there is a full slate of impediments, and we don’t need to add more. Unfortunately it’s comments like this that ruin the time spent with what used to be one of my top 3 aviation podcasts. Wishing Rob a speedy recovery from surgery his humor makes the podcast light and enjoyable!!! Love the Aus desk!!! Finally I will say I do understand the work it takes to even green social content and produce a show and do thank those involved in the production.

RattleKan DaddySorry for your lossThis podcast was not what I was expecting. I know none of you personally. I listen to your podcast every week and you all have become somewhat like family. Your in our homes, in our cars and I take you on my evening walk. Sometimes I listen to your podcast while in my office. I look forward to hearing what all of you have to say eagerly and get excited to hear the new podcast like today when I got home from work. I am deeply saddened to hear the news of Launchpad. The podcast was hard to listen too without tearing up. I am praying for all of you and will pray for Launchpads family. Stay strong and celebrate his life. I wish you all the best. John

Bniem11Love this Podcast but…What was with that “green energy is actually worse than fossil fuels” (I’m paraphrasing) segment? So out of place for the show. Besides playing loose with the facts, it would have failed as a debate class assignment with the logic errors and false arguments. I tried to get through it at but bailed with several minutes left in the episode. Time would have been better spent talking about the 737 Max or KC-46.

pipercub🛩FlackApparently some people just I don’t enjoy a good podcast all these people who are giving this podcast flack must not have good taste these guys are great and they might get a little off topic but sometimes they are fun to listen to thanks guys love the podcast.

Alex_MerrillTerrificGreat show! Both extremely informative & entertaining. Keep up the great work!

seriouslynothappywithitunesSame problem as most podcastsI’ve listened to three different podcast interviews with someone from the Aeroshell Aerobatics Team and all three were 40 minutes long and basically the same interview. If you’ve never met someone and you talk to them for 40 minutes you’re just going to get through the introductions that’s it I got introduced to the guy that was talking and learned absolutely nothing.

kcrook1It’s now the COVID CastFor the most part I have loved this podcast but now it seems that every episode has become the COVID cast. We get all this COVID news everywhere else, I tune in here to get my aviation fix.

KeepBlueSideUpGo-to for all things aviationGreat podcast for all things aviation; commercial, defense and related industries from WW2 airshows to the latest from Cirrus. Professionally produced and well organized, they added chapters last year so if it’s too long you can skip to the parts you like. Or just listen and you might learn something. This podcast is really just a part of, and the center of, a much bigger community that has developed around it.

roamingbeemerOver speedWind shift can create a sudden increase in airspeed and cause a sudden over speed. Airlines should be talking about these things openly in an ideal safety culture.
-
kay to the beeeeeGood but too longGood information, but it is an hour longer than it should be. They talk too slow and I have to put it on 1.5X speed just to keep it at a normal pace. I also think they’re somewhat self-indulgent with their musings and ramblings. Without much respect to the listeners time constraints. My commute is between 45 minutes to an hour, and I want information quick, to the point, clear, concise. Sorry but going on and on and on and on about snakes on a plane it’s just a waste of my time. Otherwise; good information, high quality of guests and high caliber content for aviation professionals and serious enthusiasts.

Queen of piesStay up to date with a minimal time investmentWith so many avaiation podcasts out there it is hard to pick one that will keep you generally informed on what is going on in the aviation world without a huge investemtn in time. I find that Airplane Geeks does this with their weekly, about-an-hour episodes, while providing some in depth learning on one topic.
-
Darryl_RHas promise, but do painful and slowThis is so painful to listen to. Such long waffle. Chit chat about the news. Just get to the point. Some of the interview questions are just clueless. This show needs to remove the low-value non-pilot contributors and get more focused on intelligent interviews of high quality experts
-
NYTSKY 1So sorryGreat Podcast but I wanted to send my condolences to you at this time. Your wife will be missed but she will always live on with you

luvifrMarvelous contribution to aviationI have enjoyed this podcast for years. Max and the team are awesome. They are totally committed to bringing us relevant and up to date news from all around the globe. The quality of guests and topics is second to none. As an active private pilot, aircraft owner and overall lover of all things aviation, I can’t recommend this podcast enough. This review was written after listening to Brian Coleman’s farewell from the podcast and hearing about his courageous struggles. What a remarkable team. Thank you!
-
AF-mech52Great podcast, need a change in personalitiesI absolutely love this podcast, but I can not stand their aviation historian, David. He is so condescending and smug it brings the whole podcast down. I have turned off and deleted several episodes because of him.
-
WeMo worksGreat Aviation ContentA really great aviation podcast. Enjoy the content. Very informative. Love the way you have your guests step back to their first flights and share their journey through aviation to where they are today. Keep up the good work. Look forward to every cast. I have a daughter who lives in Fairbanks so enjoy hearing share about Alaska.

Derek CooksAirplane Geeks Are Us!If you're an Airplane Geek, if you love all things aviation, if you like your humor with a hint of picante' - this Podcast is for you. Industry knowledgeable hosts take you through the news and history of aviation, commercial, General Aviation and military. There is a very funny sarcastic streak running along throughout - right up my ally - from the hosts, who obviously have deep respect for each other. I'm a weekly listener and can't wait for the next episode.
-
Fly_n2hiThe go toI have a few shows I listen to, all are great, but I find myself really excited when a new episode pops up from y’all. It’s a great mix of everything aviation. I love the interaction between everyone. The show would not be the same without it. Hope to meet everyone at an airshow sometime.

AFW105One of the originals:)I've listened to this podcast for years and it was one of the first podcasts that I discovered. This is a reliable podcast that has a great mix of news and features about aviation. They usually have one main guest per week and their topics and expertise vary which can bring about nice treats when a guest discussed a favored area or something new that you've never considered before. The interchange between the hosts is witty yet professional.
-
BarrismurfAirplane geekery at its best.If you love machines that fly you have to give this podcast a listen. The hosts do a wonderful job covering all aspects of aviation. From general aviation to space exploration and all stops between. Give it a listen. You won't be disappointed. - Michael C. from TN

PC and iPad guyBest Aviation PodcastOf all the podcasts, of all subjects, this is the one I always listen to when it is released each week. Length is good, content is excellent and it is well edited. Most importantly it stays on topic. The website is a great place to have open to follow along.

JohnnieCRottenThis is the one you're looking for!!!Well done podcast that is informative and entertaining; a wide range of segments within the podcast focus on Europe, Austrailia, and emerging issues. Guests range from a variety of industry perspectives and are generally informative and not too commercial. All hosts are knowledgable and express the love of aviation in a genuine fashion.
-
CirrusHuetInformative and entertainingThe Geeks at the Airplane Geeks podcast love to talk about all things aviation. What I enjoy most is the variety of topics they discuss. I am a general aviation pilot and so I look forward to stories about this segment. But I also get a lot out of the stories they talk about in the commercial, military, drone, and foreign aviation segments.
-
Patrick WigginsNot to missJody in Utah told me about this podcast a year or so ago. Glad she did. I’ve listened every week since.

Troubled TribbleJust another av geek!Ive been listening to this podcast for several years now and cant say enough good about it. I thouroughly enjoy each of the podcast members takes on current events, Davids historical section, Rob's grump a minute (tongue in cheek) editorials, Max's thoughtful questioning of guests and his steady hand on the regular cast of misfits, Peters segment on across the pond, and of course the dazzling digeridoo duo from Australia. You guys rock! Thanks a ton for all the work you all do and i look forward to many, many more episodes.
-
JudgeArtAviation at its bestThe beauty of this podcast, if you're into aviation, is the diversity that is presented each week. Whether discussions are on Airlines, General Aviation or Historic Aircraft... There is something for everyone on this podcast.

RDVectorIThe guys do an amazing job of presenting the world of aviation to their listeners. They handle civil, commercial, and military aviation as well as getting weekly reports from abroad in the UK and Australia. They speak with the knowledge of experts but explain everything in a way that the lay person can understand. Another amazing aspect of this show...its funny! Everyone on the show has a great sense of humor. This show is well worth your listening time. Of the 15 podcasts I listen to regularly this is always the first I go to on download day.
-
Sportsgirl007Fantastic!A truly fantastic show, these men are professionals but retain their humor. They are of a very few that consistently discuss, report and advocate aviation. I recommend to every aviation enthusiast I meet!
