There are a lot of Blood Bowl podcasts out there but really...there’s just one. These guys are the top dogs. They’ve got it down to a science. Perfect chemistry. Informational. Entertaining. Keep up the great work boys.

I no longer play Blood Bowl, but keep up with the madness of Games Workshop’s latest bloating of already complicated rules from these two guys. Always enjoy the recap of tournaments, road trips, and the foods consumed.

BothDown is very active in the Bloodbowl gaming community. They have attended International events, and run gaming tournaments annually. I found this podcast back when I started building a custom Dungeonbowl pitch about 2 years ago and I've been listening ever since (I'm almost completely caught up with all the episodes). Having only recently really gotten into Blood Bowl (beyond just owning it), I appreciate a lot of the fluff and background in the game. Listening to their tournament experiences, along with the stories of what happens outside of the tournaments, is entertaining. Scott has the occasional (sometimes more than occasional) inappropriate comments, hence the parental advisory. Honestly, I kind of wish I could see Steve's expressions when Scott goes onto those tangents.

Just got into playing BB after a very long vacation and now playing in my first league. Was looking for a podcast that was both fun and educational... And I found it in these guys. Give them a listen, You won’t be disappointed.

Guys like Scott and Steve are why I got into blood bowl. Steve does all the serious lifting and is the intellectual heavyweight of the pair, while Scott contributes little to the show beyond his good looks, and plays Catwoman to Steve’s Batman. A great entertaining show where two dudes from Oklahoma (USA) share their love of Blood Bowl. They unabashedly share their love of the fluff of the game as well as be real individuals. I follow this podcast religiously for its fun, lightheartedness, and passion about a game. Thanks to Prime and Kilowog. N.B. Adult language and content at times. Don’t listen if you are offended by everything. As I said they are real guys who are hilarious IMO.

Given the overall quality of the content produced, BD is still among my top 3 BB pods. The past few episodes were a bit of a let down though. Way too much rambling about food and such. The Orclahoma Bowl episode wasn’t really about the tournament and part 2 was way too repetitive. Digging the interview with P. Knifton but expected some actual tourney coverage such as top team line-ups etc. Hope the guys can focus on Blood Bowl again some more in the future. In the meantime , it’s 4 star, for olde tyme’s sake.

This was the first podcast I came across, as a new player its been super helpful and very entertaining which is great for a new hobby I'm picking up. They cover everything in great detail. Even if it's not bloodbowl related it's still keeps me hooked. You can't go wrong with these guys.

Steve and Scott put out a great show that not only covers the game of Blood Bowl, but also informs about the history and backstory. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan of the game, whether it be the tabletop or video game versions.

My favorite Blood Bowl podcast - these gingers do Blood Bowl justice. Coming from a guy who grew up loving Blood Bowl since the days of 2nd Edition, these guys do it all right. They're fun, don't take themselves too seriously, and really are in it just for the love of the game. P.S. I miss Wilhelm Cheney.

A lot of times you never think about podcast hosts as real people. A lot of them sort of just sound like radio personalities or over entitled experts. But at Both Down, they sound like guys just like me who love the game and love talking about it. And then every now and then we get a glimpse into their lives. Steve's new house, Scott's new job — I even listen to an old podcast where they talked about two tornados hitting their neighborhood. For me it's just one of those shows where it reminds you how much fun this game is when you just remember its just a game and there's amazing stories to tell every time you play. Real ones, and fake ones. Thanks guys. When you only have one or two people to play with, this podcast makes me fell like I'm in another gaming group.

Both Down is the most prolific Blood Bowl podcast on the whole net, and lucky for us, it's the best. Scott and Steve are similar, but have a distinctly different presence, as well as strenghts and weaknesses. Combined, they're exactly what a good podcast needs. They are both knowledgable, inciteful, and funny. The format of the show is fantastic, the length is perfect, and they always manage to do something new, even after so many years. I've been listening to the show for over a year now, even at the times I'm not playing Blood Bowl. This is my Shout Out! to you guys, from Kevin in Japan.

Love these guys. Love all the reports from other tournaments other than the events they run. Great listening fun. Las Vegas love the Orklahoma boyz. News Flash now 5 of 5 Nuffle dentist now support the podcats. Maybe the 5th one caved when a wizard held a fireball ready to strike. Would love a pod cast for tournament builds and why you took what skills and where. Also I'm a huge fan of just a set team value for events rather than the standard 1.1 million build with skill packets. What are your thoughts on both.

While they don't talk tactics, they DO talk fluff and ideas. The fluff is what makes Blood Bowl great. Though there are a few other Blood Bowl podcasts out there, what makes this one unique is its' focus on the fluff and fun of the game. The hosts discuss ways to give your Blood Bowl teams the personality they deserve so that the next time you play; your opponent will no doubt remember you. From team and player naming, to alternate league rules, and anything else that will make your games of Blood Bowl more fun and unique these guys have got it covered. The production is top-notch and well organized.

This is a great podcast to give you a feel for the lore of Blood Bowl. As a new player the guys have given me a greater understanding of the world, made me laugh and kept me company while I built my own custom pitch. This podcast is good for all fans of the game, well at least those 18+ years old. Different from the other podcasts out there on the same subject, these guys talk about how to make the game fun and keep it enjoyable. Not much tactics yet, but plenty of laughs and great stories. I can't wait for the next episode and definitely put it in the top 3 Blood Bowl podcasts (along with Three Die Block and the old Tackle Zone Radio).
