I started listening to UAV Digest shortly after buying a Mavic 2 Pro. Although I was aware the world of UAV was much deeper than consumer drones, I didn’t know how much. Thanks to Max and David, my outlook on the potential of this industry has grown. Their show is very informative and well produced. I look forward to downloading it every Friday. Thanks guys!

Great industry and hobby news

The UAV Digest is my go-to source for drone news. I follow various email lists as well, but The UAV Digest is all that's needed if you want one source for drone news.

Packed full of useful and interesting information this podcasst rates as one of the best UAS variety shows. As a private pilot and a new Part 107 UASs remote pilot, this show is my go to for all information UAS. Frequented by industry guest speakers I find the information that I need in order to help me become a better informed UAS consumer. I am new to UAS and this show has saved me countless hours researching prosumer drones. There are many podcasts out there but there are few that are consistent with publishing a show as this one that has valuable content, great reviews, historical facts and a good laugh now and then that you can count on being available on a regular schedule. It is obvious that there is a lot of passion and commitment to the show.

In the fledgling world of UAVs, Max and David (of The Airplane Geeks Podcast Fame) produce an informative weekly show with the recent news in the world of UAVs, regulations, uses, and developments. They sometimes have a guest associated with the industry. I recommend it to learn about this interesting technology as it becomes more relevant to our daily lives.

Max and David keep us abreast of the news in the fast and dynamic world of UAVs. If you are interested in the world of UAS you have found your show. Give it a listen. You won't be disappointed.

Originally started listening to this because of both my aviation and UAV flying interest. However I now find the biggest challenging is skipping though all the commentary that comes with each news item. Now finding my UAV news somewhere else.

These guys have a wealth of knowledge and a long history of shows that are worth searching. I recommend this podcast to my clients who have decided to start using drones in their business but are new to drone technology. Plus I love the Philly connection, having lived there for many years. This is a really useful and interesting podcast covering general info, news, and laws relating to drones/UAVs. The hosts cover relevant topics in a timely manner, and there are in-depth episodes about important developments like the new Part 107. Highly recommended for anyone interested in drones: pilots, hobbyists, commercial users, lawyers, etc.

Max and David have done it again! These guys really know how to put a podcast together. I had been looking for a good podcast on UAV’s and this one fits the bill perfectly. Way to go guys!

This podcast and very informative. I found it as a complete beginner and I am learning a lot. The hosts are very enthusiastic about UAVs. They provide headlines and their personal interpretaions of the current news about UAVs. The interviews are fantastic as well. This is a must listen for anyone interested drones, UAVs or UAS!

My first and best source for UAV news and industry trends. They give an even handed view of drone activities and the impact to overall aerospace. If there were 5 more stars, I'd give it to them. If you have interest in UAVs, this podcast is a must listen.

Awesome podcast of all current issues with the UAS/UAV/Drone emerging technology from seasoned podcast hosts. Max is the long time aero engine guy who has hosted 1st generation mega aviation websites and has been hosting the airplane geeks podcasts for years and now is hosting & guest hosting on many other aviation podcasts, and sounds a little like Casey Kasem :) David is the consummate airplane geek and historian who knows all things aviation and is kinda the Cliff Clavin of the group, but with true facts. (except for his opinion on the A-10 :) They have a knack to round up industry leading guests and are fun to listen to as they have passion for this emerging technology.

Extremely informative and entertaining every week. The 30 minutes flies by every week and the only downside is that the show isn't longer!

Each podcast gets better than the one before. Over the course of a week I hear bits and pieces of info related to UAVs/drones, but Dave and Max bring it all together and layer in perspective. If you want to stay current on the newest wave of business disruption this is the podcast for you.

I really like the info in this podcast. I'm in the film industry and this is def the wave of the future. The length of the podcast is easily digestible and it's clear that you love this topic. Many other podcast hosts focus on personal attention for overly clever punch lines. You guys have a great balance of being like-able and conveying relevant info. Thanks for keeping it real :)))

If you have lots of down-time and live in a UAV rich environment then hearing audio podcast like this drone on is perfect. After being a fan of airplane geeks I now enjoy another podcast that I put on autopilot.

These guys are knowledgeable, entertaining and provide up-to-the-minute info on the emerging UAV field. Highly recommended!

I've listened to every episode and it's fantastic. You can tell they are having fun, while providing a great medium to discuss the promising future of UAVs.

Most news sources seem to only focus on unmanned and autonomous aviation when there's a military strike or a civilian accident but not so with The UAV Digest! Max and David delve into the progress of an emerging industry and a class of vehicles that might change the way much of our world functions. The hosts bring intelligence, enthusiasm, and personality to an often-faceless and somewhat-feared subject. And I can't get enough of it.

The best weekly showing covering all unmanned aerial vehicles! Dave and Max brings the latest news and insights in a concise 30 minute show. Highly recommended!
