I really enjoy listening to this podcast while I’m working in my studio! I always learn something new and I like hearing about the varying experiences of the guests that are interviewed on the podcast. Paul is a great interviewer which I know from listening to the show but also from personal experience when he invited me to join him on episode 1,096 of The Potters Cast! He really puts his guests at ease. I also like hearing the book recommendations at the end of the episodes too.

We’ve been listening to this podcast for years & were blown away when Paul asked to interview us. It was an absolute pleasure - Paul is just as kind and easy to talk to off air as he is on the pod. It was a great experience sharing our trajectory into pottery over the past few years & we’re so grateful to Paul for bringing us into his world. In terms of our overall love for the podcast itself, it is so special to get a glimpse into the lives of the potters he interviews. It’s interesting to see how someone came to (or fell into) making pottery, where in the world they create & who they are as people. Paul is a great conversationalist and is able to create an inviting, comfortable space where interviewees can share a bit more about themselves & their creations.

What a great podcast - Paul does a wonderful job at cultivating interesting conversations by asking thoughtful and insightful questions that help reveal each artist’s unique story. Lots to learn here, and plenty of inspiration, too! No wonder this podcast has been going so long, one to add to favorites for sure.

I’ve been an avid listener of this podcast for many years and have gained so much insight from so many talented ceramicists that Paul had interviewed over the years. I can't believe it took me so long to listen to The Potters Cast! Paul is an amazing interviewer and each episode he continues to blow my mind with his thoughtful questions! Without staged Q & A you really get a chance to know the artist in each episode on a more personal level.
