    Great podcast
Joe Pistone is an interesting story but I laugh at these “mafia” sausage smelling clowns. Wonder why they never come to Texas to “take over” turf here. A bunch of wannabes know what would happen.

    Save Your Time
I am absolutely hooked on true crime podcasts, but found this one to be a complete waste of time. Good luck deciphering what is fact and what is fiction…

    Good Subject Matter
The subjects of each episode are interesting. The manner of presentation could use upgrading. All in all intriguing and interesting.

    SEASON 2! SEASON 2!
Hurrrrrrrry up and make season 2, Ed! The anticipation is killing me.

    Corny and badly written
Terrible execution. There is an attempt to create a story but the created dialog is so corny, obviously manufactured, unnatural, and the voice actors sounds so unconvincingly robotic. The cheap sound effects do nothing but further the feeling of low-effort, down right crappy production.
  • marzworld434
    Ed is amazing
Great podcast can’t wait for next season so hurry up!!!! Hahaha
  • Rhegafd
    Incredible.
This was such an awesome story and told expertly. I’ve shared this podcast w every person I know. Not one complaint so far. Checks all the boxes for a great story.

    Ed O’Neill is terrific
The stories are compelling, great listening. The actor’s doing the voices are good. I don’t like re-enactments on tv but it seems to work on podcasts. The actor’s doing the voice work on the “bad guys” is comedic. I enjoyed it thoroughly

    Gripping
I’m following this podcast closely on episode 5 as the first. So many podcasts lose their excitement after a few episodes- not this one!
  • MBercaw
Finally a golden age level of broadcasting
Ed and cast are magnificent plus the flawlessness of the production team! Finally a show which pays attention to details as well as entertains so completely. How refreshing to listen to productions with full sentences, complete thoughts, and avoid all the mindless blatherings of ums, totallys, likes, and run on sentences lasting in sometimes 15 min long. I cannot wait for the next season!!!

Not what I was hoping for
With created dialog and badly constructed sound effects, this sounded like someone narrating with a video game playing in the background. It took less than two full episodes before it was just tiresome and boring. Zero points for creativity - it was like a high school project with bad play acting replacing actual audio. This may be exactly what someone else is looking for - but it’s sure not what I was expecting.

    Bad acting and too theatrical
Subject matter has potent but it’s too busy and affected. Script and acting is cheesy

    Top show
One of the best I’ve listened to. Wish there were more.
  • Enbell
    Very entertaining!
I love the true crime genre- but not everything needs to be a murder mystery! This podcast offers a glimpse into the undercover world of narcotics and the suspense/thriller that is the real life of these officers.

  • Julimore
    Addicting and beautifully developed.
Ed O’Niell and Christopher Lloyd have outdone themselves. Every episode is narrated with the perfect tone, volume and character. You will be obsessed!!!
  • Pilotncommand
    Great
I wished there were more Podcast like this. Great Job
  • Jazzdax
    Good but not great!
Narrator Ed O’Neil is perfect for this series. Many inside observations make for great storytelling. But writers need to do better with verbal illustrations for a podcast audience. With stories like “Covert” and “Dirty John” as examples from other genre you need a visual picture to stay involved. I subscribed and will listen. Good luck.
  • Tipviptip
    A little corny
    Just ok.
  • Gotchayeah
    So far so good
This is actually a pretty cool podcast and the stories are pretty cool and I like to see how that it’s not biased towards cops coming out on top all the time
  • Spec Ops Approved
    Real, Raw and On Point
Anyone with a Military and or LES background will recognize the jargon of someone who has really been on the job. Ed O’Neil’s delivery is absolutely superb, truly bringing the moments to life. The only issue is the “Jones” for the next episode!!
  • lionmane910
    Dramatic.
Dramatic with very little details. Would definitely trade all the sound effects for the details.
  • Sbv2003
    LOVE THIS!
Love crime podcasts - so this is a nice break, with action and suspense!! Keep making more episodes! Listened to them all in a day!!!!
  • Griceberg
    Riveting!
Great story with all the details. Ed O’Neil does a super job narrating.
  • Nomad275
It has potential but the execution is terrible
The stories themselves have all the potential in the world to be fascinating. Listening to the narration, with Ed O’Neal sounding like a hardass the entire time, and then then cheesiest voice actor overlays, constantly interrupted by a commercial break....it ruins whatever little potential the show had. Try again.

    Addicting
I love these episodes. I just wish they came out more often, everyday like my other favorite podcasts. Although, I understand it takes time for this kind of quality. The scenes are very vivid and they don’t try to hard to sensationalize.
  • casskell0913
    Wow!
So good! I love everything about this pod, and I’m extremely particular with the commentary I enjoy. Well done - can’t wait for future episodes!
  • brain2trust
    Ugh, so bad.
Full of cliché, predictable, and amateurish writing. It feels like a high school student has written the script. A waste of an interesting premise.
  • Giajohnson
    Wrong title..
Should be called Under Cover Eff Ups. Was interesting at first, but overly dramatic.
  • Jlive81
    Love it!! But.....
Too many commercial interruptions at the most intense point of the scene!
