He gets good guests, but he’s still learning the absolute basics. Makes you wonder how he’s qualified to be a CMO. Seems like the CEOs he’s worked for do all the work, a la Drift, and he spends his time babbling about being great at “brand.” It’s baffling how many people listen to this.

Dave’s main message is that no one goes to school for B2B marketing. That’s certainly true for me, and I’m not sure going to school for it would actually help. There’s been more change in marketing in the past five years then in the previous couple of decades. Dave does a great job of keeping his audience engaged and informed while brining on great guests. Was really looking forward to the launch of this podcast and is a top recommendation to my colleagues.
