You’re discussing a video game/TV show. Why can’t we get through anything without discussing identity politics. People hated Abby because she _____ Joel. Nothing else, you guys put this junk on other people that for the most part, could care less either way.

They’re funny, they did cackle a lot (as one of the other reviews mentioned). But after about 80 times of hearing “love bubble” I had to turn it off.

Maybe Google Gloria Steinem when you aren’t familiar with famous cameos instead of 2 solid minutes of zit talk?

Neither host appears to have the slightest interest in digging deeper into the show or the world around them. The episode I listened to was taken up by an extended conversation on the hosts’ future grey hair and current zits. I was horrified, and had to stop listening entirely, when neither of them knew who Gloria Steinem is. Her name was only mentioned with reverence around 10 times in the episode, but neither host bothered to even google her. It’s one thing to not recognize her by sight, but that neither had ever even heard her hame, referring to her as “some lady,” was an insult to the women’s movement and the intelligence of listeners. You can do far better than listen to this inane podcast.

Hosts do recaps okay but would rather not have to listen to endless cackling and vocal fry.

HBO shows lately have been lacking fun (looking at you Gilded Age and Raised by Wolves) but these podcasts are a blast. Loving Jess/Sara and Josh/Grace/Taran recapping these shows and keeping things fun & entertaining. Can’t wait to see what comes next.

The Gilded Age recaps are frequently painful. Lack of basic history knowledge of the era is frequently embarrassing (never heard of a dance card?? Really? ). They miss so much that is going on, I found it frustrating.
